We got our Visa at the airport. It was super easy. 50 bucks Cuba was very cheap. But there wasn't the luxury of American convenience on everything. Food, drinks and toiletries. No fast food! We stayed at an Airbnb and just cooked the food we brought. There are NO supermarkets! Beautiful people beautiful ocean, beautiful nature. But be prepared to rough it! We were there 10 months ago
Love your content and hubby & I will be there very soon (December 27th) for a few days. Love the country’s beauty, love the people and always find new adventures with Havana when we visit. Thank you so much for all that you and your team do!
Supporting your effort to promote your services - good luck! I think you are doing a great job! A very long video that should only be two minutes - "bring cash, book with us" :)
Much appreciated! It seems you didn't see the part where I said I've been creating free content for over 4 years now. So, yes I promote myself and the company. Lol.
Why is that Cuban people always cry that they are poor, that they are starving etc but when you get there, you see that the things arent really like that, or not any different than any previous year. You see that most of Cubans are well fed, they have cell phpnes, nice clothes and t-shirts , flat screen TVs, now even electric scooters etc. Why is that ?
Hey bro i have a question im coming from canada and will stay with someone in cuba while im there is it okay for me to drink cold drinks with ice while there? Also if the person im staying with cooks cuban food at home is that okay or safe for me to eat not being from there what should i becareful of or avoid not to eat cuz i don't wanna be rude and turn things down but i dont wanna be sick whole trip because i just ate anything you know. Let me know thank you. Street food is not safe i heard is this true? Thank you brother. Side note based on your video what is the main taxi service that everyone uses or company what is a reliable name to use for transportation around Cuba? Would appreciate to know bro thank you.
Hey Matthew. Sure, let me help you. But before you turn down, let me tell you that in Cuba is disrespect, I experienced that before with canadian friends they didn't even got showered in my house cause they said they preferred the Cayo. That was rude and i thought they were my friends. 1) I'd recommend you always drinking from a bottle of water you buy ( closed ) cause ice isn't save unless they made it from save water. 2) Food is good depending on where you stay, if its an airbnb or regular stay, thats ok, you shouldn't try food in crazy places you don't know. 3) Street food is safe if you try it on the tourist spots, don't try suuuper local food, is safe tho, its just your stomach may not be used to it. 4) We use La Nave is an app like Uber but if you cant get access to it, get contact with a local taxi driver and hold to him. If you needed any of our services, we are glad to help.
@@Hustlerahead Thanks a lot Alex big help. Sorry for those other Canadians we are usually friendly and very respectful of other places, people, customs etc... when visiting. One last thing when i spoke about the drinks i meant like if i go to a bar or club you know how some alcoholic drinks come with ice? like a mojito for instance even in that sense is it recommended not to get it with ice or not to get a drink like that whatsoever because of the water? or does it depend on the place like if its a popular spot or not? Thanks bro. Also i assume beers are safe to drink.
I will be there in January but we are going to a resort.. still some good tips for travelers.. one day I will stay closer to Havana so I can see the city ..
Please do not vist Cuba, the money that you are going to spend there will go straigh to the dictator arks. Part of that money is used to oppresss the cuban people.
you did not mention that if you use european or canadian credit cards in cuba they will be charging at only 24 pesos to te usd, you will NOT get the rate of 320 cuban pesos that you would get on the black market for cash, also for cuba its best to bring as much small bills of usd as you can as usd change is hard to get, i also bring from the us bank 2 dollar bills as often one dollar is not enough as a tip. ; where did you get the odd accent and also odd work forming as a cuban? most rare in cuba, ; interesting but your presentation is not well formed or organized. do you realize that? you also mumble too much , get to the point already !, a cuba expert, RM
