  • Today we take apart the Nreal Air: amzn.to/3DTMyIn huge thanks to Nreal for sponsoring this video! I've been on the lookout for ways to augment my gaming experience - and what better way than with augmented reality glasses? Yeah these sweet looking spectacles can take mobile multitasking to the next level - but I'm more interested in the 200 inch video and gaming displays that can fit in your pocket. Would you Rock a pair of Virtual Reality Glasses? Will EVERYONE be wearing smart glasses in the future?!

    • @earthtaurus5515
      @earthtaurus5515 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      AR 😋, but yeah they will actually change the game as the convential method was to have a all in one unit - battery and re-charging components including the SOC. Which not only makes them bulky but there is always the risk that people will use them whilst re-charging therefore overheating the battery. Given... what happens when overheated battery goes.... and wearing on your head when it does won't be a pleasent experience to the say the least. So, by having a processing done externally comfort is also increased as no heat dissipation is needed for the SOC. That heat will go both in the area and the users head... lol.. then is also the aspect of electro-sensitivity. So, yeah by having the AR glasses merely act like displays solves a vast array of problems. Sure, it doesn't solve the biological problem of eye strain but that's on the user not NReal just as monitor OEMs are not liable to eye strain issues caused by prolonged use by users.

    As always, very interesting! I would love to see how these would work for programming while travelling.

    These are so amazing from the looks. I can't imagine how it would feel having a semi VR headset on the go

    I've always found concepts like this really interesting. I've always been a supporter of VR, and now AR can introduce amazing heads-up displays into the real world. The amount of possibilities that this technology can introduce is endless, and I'm excited to see where things go from here. Thank you, as always, for covering the big new tech in the world!

    I've wondered when the Smart Glasses were going to come back. After google glass disappeared from the scene I've always felt like a great idea had fallen through the cracks. I'm glad to see the idea return at a much more affordable price :). I'd love to give a set of these a try for AutoCAD work and Fusion360 3D modeling.

    Another day to learn a thing or two from Jerry. Also, the glasses looks way cooler on the inside than they are on the outside

    These could be particularly helpful for pulling up checklists or instruments in vr flight simulation. What a cool new stage in vr/ar.

    This was the first video I saw on your channel, and I can't stop watching it. Seeing the teardown and knowing how the tech works is so satisfying. Even though you are a massive channel and you don't need to hear this; you earned a sub!
