The only reason scooters are not more popular in the USA is because splitting lanes or driving down the middle or left or right of traffic jams is illegal/discouraged. Thats just too bad because with everyone in the USA driving around in dump trucks and buses everywhere they go there is alot more bad traffic and pollution than need be. In most urban settings a 150cc scooter will get you from A to B much better than cars, trucks, mini-vans, SUVs ect. One day people are going to realize their 1 hour creeping commute could be a 20 minute commute.... Eventually.

poisedonis Pretty much. When traffic is crowded and speed is generally limited to between 0 - 100 kph, scooters are more practical.
