This is probably the best game commentary I’ve ever watched. You go deep enough into variations but never lose us because you highlight key principles even when it’s a local tactics. Well done and thank you!
So pumped to see this video pop up, these two are the most exciting players in the pro baduk world right now and it's amazing to see them play one another in a finals like this!
i'm afraid however you are wrong at the start rui naiwei is the best woman player of all time (for now) compare her record against lee changho (borderline positive winrate?) with choi jeong's against sjs!!
Exciting game and excellent review! There is incredible value in each of your variations, and in the way you explain how they compare to the players' moves. Your reviews feel like an instant download of concepts that would take months to study alone. Thank you so, so much for sharing your experience
Once again, such a great commentary. I remember seeing Eunkyo's analysis too and I loved it the first time, and loved it with your explanations as well. Keep doing those, they are awesome.
Thanks so much for this Telegraph; I think this might be the pro game review I have gotten the most out of. As Alex said, this is a real model of go explanation, at least for my (low-kyu) level
First, I replay the game on my real board, which gives me a good human basis for understanding the game. Then I look at any other commentary I can find (much thanks to Eunkyo for her video on this one), and finally check it in my own KataGo. Since I'm not as good as these players and especially AI, it takes me a while to understand what went wrong and right in detail. Often I play out my own sequences in the situations where I'm most confused, and then check that with AI again to learn deeper. It takes me about 5-10 hours to research each game, although I cut most of what I learn from the videos. The more complex the game, the more time it takes, but I really feel that it helps my improve my own Go skill a lot. So here goes to Shin Jinseo vs. Park Jungwhan next week!
Telegraph is out of his mind good at explaining the hidden meaning behind the moves

You said you had a lot of fun researching this game, how do you research games, do you have a method ?
