@@rcfungames transmission and rear end gears, plastic gears won’t cut it,and drive shafts that I have to send back,as Injora makes a set for the k10 and the ford truck only
Great running footage ! You’re right about needing too many upgrades, but to be fair I got away from bashers more this year because I was tired of repairing broken cars all the time. Crawlers/ trail trucks I can drive without doing repairs every time out, upgrade them as I want to . Just my personal experience, keep up the great content !
Thank you very much Ryan ✌️😉 I just think compared to a lot of the other small rigs that will launch this year Traxxas has got to be at the bottom for innovation!! And the geometry on that front suspension is just not being well set up from factory!! The wheels catch the steering arm and knuckle besides touching the shock when turning the other way, and that's not mentioning that this front suspension con group anymore because of the links catching on the servo and servo mount. I definitely agree with you that Crawlers do not break as often as bashers!! I've been running my Crawlers for a long time and I can't say they ever let me down or break!! If you have a decent fast car it just takes one second of distraction to take it out 😅🤣🤣 I really appreciate you watching and commenting bro! Thank you 🤜💥🤛
Im around $300 into the bronco. Factory steering servo, sheared the plastic gears after 2 hours of hardcore novice crawling(getting stuck and full lock steering corrections). The injora servo is very good and not prohibitively expensive.(7kg model). I run the heaviest 1.0 brass beadlock wheels i could find and run 57mm pro line trencher tires with customized injora yellow inserts with unbelievable results
I like to build them from the ground up, as it ends up cheaper than buying a ready to run and then upgrading it. I would love to give the proline trencher tires ago myself 💯 I love the new silicone inserts! So far they have done really well. Really appreciate you watching and commenting 🤜💥🤛

I have heard a lot of people saying the servos are garbage. I had a ESC acting up but was swapped under warranty. My servo died but it was the gears, when I put my new axles in, the stub shaft rotated and the pin went in the wrong hole and I went to try and and it snapped the gears, the electrical side still works. I agree the servo is weak, they should have put metal gears in at stock. So far the driveline gears in mine are holding up. Touch wood. It does need a fair amount of work to get it stable I completely agree on
Yeah on my first two rigs the Bronco and the defender I can't say much failed me but there were definitely issues to address from the factory. I just expected more from Traxxas! I’ve probably spent $200 on Injora upgrades spread on two builds. Love it. I do think its funny that they haven’t made the tagline less obvious chinese
So far I still think it's one of the best brands at an affordable price! I think I spend something like $4,000 with Injora last year!! 😅 It's crazy how it all adds up 🤔 Yeah it's weird and some of the things their stickers used to say was even weirder! 🤣
Definitely Injora is doing a great job at building quality parts at an affordable price! And yes the drive shafts are a couple of millimeters longer than the Bronco and Defender. Same as the links. I really appreciate you watching and commenting 🤜💥🤛
So I did the same axles on my trx4m with the injora 7g servo and mount. Also did 59mm shocks and brass high clearance arms. Well my upper arms on the front hit the servo and mount well before full drop. Did you have this issue?
Hey, love the videos I’m wondering what solutions you have come up with to get clearance between the body and tires? I’m experiencing pretty serious rubbing on the fenders and bumper? Do you trim the body? Does running taller shocks give better clearance? If you trim the body, what tools do you like to use? Thanks Great videos
Hi bro! and thank you so much for the awesome comment ✌️😉 I changed the bumpers to the injora metal bumpers for the K10, that definitely helped as well, but yes I did trim the edges where my tires were catching. My two tools of choice for this is a Dremel, and a really good nail clipper! 😅 I actually trimmed this body with the nail clipper, and it works great as you can use the curved side just to cut the edges away! I also pulled the stickers back so I could put them back around the edge once I trimmed. Like that it doesn't look like you've cut anything away. It also depends on the tires you are running and if you are running offset rims or spacers. Then why do you go the more you are going to rub on the body. And the size tires I went for were 64mm, anything bigger than that you are going to have to do quite a bit of trimming. I actually got my truck sitting a bit lower by using the lcg chassis. I am running to 59 mm shocks it doesn't make it stand any taller. Because they are at an angle and not straight. Allowing for better articulation, but keeping a lower center of gravity. I hope this helps bro! anything else just let me know. Really appreciate you watching my videos, and I hope to see you again on another one 🤜💥🤛
Yes definitely the extended axles are a much better option than fitting spacers with the barrel nuts! Man, mine is gonna get the Meus treatment! 💪🏻 I'm excited! Although, I wonder with the Injora +4mm axles, if you could put brass weights on it? I've been curious about that! 🤔
I see they've come out with a brass diff cover that looks the same as the diff covers on these axles!! I would like to run different brands on my cars but too difficult to get them ordered from the states to here!! Too many extra charges at customs! I'm not that worried about putting brass on these axles as I have realized that my other two rigs are too heavy to perform well so don't want to do the same to the high trail!! Trying to balance out the weight like I did with the TRX4m Jeep build. But this definitely change the truck completely!! Now it is a little beast 💯😁💯
Hi bro 👋 Yes they say it is water resistant! I haven't really driven in water with any of them but I have got them wet by washing them and I have driven through tall wet grass multiple times and I've had absolutely no issues. I would definitely say it's water resistant not waterproof! I wouldn't submerge it under water.
Hey Alex, thanks bro 🤜🤛 Glad you liked the video, I have come to the conclusion! you better off, building one from scratch then buying one and then upgrading it! Definitely more cost-effective!! It's too easy to spend money on these Trucks 😅
it touches the chassis rails when flexing but doesn't hinder it's Flex! If you don't want that issue go for the new Universal carbon fiber chassis from Injora and get a set of the new extended axles with the lay down Servo setup! Then that issue is no longer a problem! And also depending on where you position your shocks will cause this to be worse or better. So play around with your shock positions until you find one that allows for full travel without them catching each other. Or get a set of links for the high Trail with the bent ends as that will sort out that issue. I hope this helps man anything else just let me know!
I've got to say that the quality of the injora parts have come a long way from when they started!! Definitely some awesome axles for your tarantula build 💯💯💯
I put the stainless high clearance links on my f150 and tried to add the spacer to tilt the axle but the servo wires from the injora servo were in the way. Im not sure if there is a difference between the k10 and f150 for clearance there. I tilted the rear and left the front without spacers.
Hi bro, yes it's the same issue with all the platforms Bronco, Defender, k10 and the ford f150. All I do is pull up the wire on the front of the servo and just put a touch of super glue and stick it to the top of the servo, which just pulls the rubber boot, at an angle allowing for it to clear the bumper mount. I have mentioned this in many videos and wish they would make the cable come out of the top! I have done all mine with a little bit of superglue to get the clearance I needed.
@@rcfungames I was a little scare to do that because it seemed like it was a lot of tension on it and didn't seem like it would clear with a lot of force
