- A detailed guide showing the end to end installation of ColourMFA into a Golf Mk4 instrument cluster. The donor cluster is a 1/2 FIS cluster so this video mostly applies for both the Bora and R32 MkIV which also usually has the 1/2 red FIS LCD and wiper control buttons.
Regular Mk4 GTI instrument clusters will have a slightly different wiring and you may also need to install the wiper stalk controls if they're already not present in the car.

i just install half din cluster and i wanted to know if the progress is the same if i buy 3d colorMFA.
Also if i install oil level/temp sensor, can i connect the first wire you connect to plus on the colorMFA , to the oil sensor in order to see the prices of oil?

Could you make it so the dials light up in "OE" Blue LEDs that change all to red when you hit the limiter on a 1.8t?
Nice idea! There's probably a way to do that but i wouldn't have the knowledge.
How much would it cost for a bora tdi cluster fitted with the screen ? for a tdi and it needs to be immo off and the immo light taped off

Yeah you can change the needles when re installing. Other from the same family should fit.

The Audi TT actually has a lot more connections at the board and ColourMFA but yes. The basics are the same :)

@@ianpgonzagahi again buddy. Got the cluster out no problem and clear screen separated but I can’t for the life of me get the needles to come off? Is there a special procedure on the R32 or just a case of pulling upwards very hard? I’m so scared I break one doing that. Please help buddy thanks
@@khsmith6242 yep just need to pull them off. It's a good sign yours are tight. Means they shouldn't slip and self adjust when being reinstalled.
