Impressive seeing Travolta and Cage in one movie, both playing as themselves and each other throughout filming
That’s probably why the people who love this movie so much…well….love it so much.
@@trasegorsuch5140idk why this was funny 😂😂
I think its hilarious that you use the prison boots as a sunmary for FACE OFF. A movie where characters literally cut their faces off and switch them around. 😭
Right? I thought of the prison escape movie w Stallone an Arnold on a boat 😂
exactly,
funny indeed,
it seems he was fascinated by the boots rather than the fact about the exchange of their faces 😅
@@endurofan9854 a foot fetishist? Lol
For all we know, these videos could be AI generated
@@bright-bb4vmActually yea, a good portion of the “Movie Recap” type channels have switched to almost full on AI generated videos. Obviously the voice is AI but even the movie clips they use are AI generated and edited. Idk if they even upload it themselves it literally could be all running in an AI/Macro type of mix.
You’d imagine even without a face, this guy would be handcuffed and have had someone stationed to watch him
No. Bad movie plot. Sex with dudes wife is way better lol
I would have walked out of the theatre at that point if I saw this in 1997
Ikr! So bad! Also the whole "you can't tell anyone thing" like they work for someone someone higher up has to know
This movie has so much bs in it but it's still a damn good movie. Nicholas Cage struggled to make that role believable because lunatic bad guy legitimately isn't in his wheelhouse
A slight inconvenience.
This was the most 90s movie to ever happen. Good times.
Con Air comes to mind.
Also Matrix is technically a 90'ies movie, too.
Don't forget The Rock
The old time when I liked Cage movies😊
.
Face/Off had some of the best action sequences even compared to nowadays. Cage is one of the best actors ever. Travolta was really good in this too.
I love how misleading the video title always is.
I was about to guess the original Mario Bros movie with these thumbnails track record 🤭
Prevents a spoiler I suppose
How the fuck is this the description for face/off? 🤣
Did you know that 'Face/Off' featured some of the most impressive practical effects of its time? The transformation scenes where the characters swap faces were created using a combination of makeup, prosthetics, and seamless editing.🎉❤
I honestly thought this was leading into a joke, but you're absolutely right. The practical effects are astounding for it's time. Take notes, Hollywood!
So you're telling me John Travolta didn't actually have Nicholas Cages face on his face??? What? I'm mind blownnnn!
@@derekhayter4879not even close to the point. Poor attempt at sarcasm grossly misplaced
Still one of the best action movie of all time. Good thing there hasn't been a reboot
Pass me some of that copium
I don't think anyone can capture the level of insanity John Woo put into this film, that and they probably won't have flying slo-mo pigeons
@@nacl7991Begone zoomer
Let's commend John Woo as a director of the ages for his exceptional work on the 1997 film "Face/Off." With seamless fusion of action and depth, Woo's visionary style, including masterful gunfights and superb choreography, resulted in a lasting cinematic masterpiece. "Face/Off" not only showcased his meticulous attention to detail but also drew out outstanding performances from the cast, particularly John Travolta and Nicolas Cage. A true icon of action cinema, Woo's impact is immortalized through this film.
Beep boop
never knew about Woo but this movie sure is one of a kind
WOOOOO!
Chatgpt?
@@Niyet22 No.
Castor and pollux's parents must have really love greek myths
times when Cage used to play in good movies.
Listen, I'm not saying it wouldn't border on cruel and unusual punishment, but the boots for prison control are a pretty smart idea. The only thing is that all the floors would have to be metal, and you'd have to make a relatively compact and powerful electromagnet for the boots. But yeah, if you're locked in one of those, and the magnet applies, you wouldn't be going anywhere.
Except the guards can't have anything metal on them inside the prison, so no guns, no radios--no one who has had any reconstructive surgery can work, visit, or be housed there (no pins, stents, or coils), nor anyone with a pacemaker.
Sounds like a great facility.
The boots needs to be flexible at the ankles, I mean did you see how Nicolas fell when the guards hit him, if it was not flexible then either his ankles would be broken or torn off😢
meh.
I still think a chastity belt with cactus thorns directed at your balls are more effective.
@@JohnSmith-vk9dsthe boots would have the magnets in them, not the ground
connect chains to rails
the title of this video only describes one part of the movie
And I still l knew it was face off lol
They do that on pretty much all of their video titles it's weird and misleading
The blood test bit was always weird. Since they only traded faces, couldn't she have looked at a mole on his back or something? You're telling me both of these guys have the same shoe size, same johnson size, same wounds on the body? 😂
they said at the start they modified the whole body so it was believable
its wierd because usually for any organ transplant the donor needs to have the same blood type as the acceptor. this movie is some giant load of dumb bs
Although one of them only looses a ear 👂 😅 that line cracked me up.seen this movie a good few time's as it's always been one of my favourites that and con air ( which you should do a recap of ) but I absolutely enjoyed your narration of the movie more then the movie in full itself 😅
The height of 90's action!
Travolta had some bangers at the time. Broken arrow was another good one
John Woo really knew how to do over the top action!
spectacular movie to watch on the big screen.. awesome times..
Agree! I have this one on DVD. Great movie!❤
What aboit body sizes? They swap those too?
The title description is a prime example of why you at least click on the vid to see what movie it was.
I'd never guess the movie if someone described it this way 😂😂😂
Seeing this high-speed summary with narration is a reminder of how insane this movie is.
They were both better fathers to the others kids than they were to their own
Cage and Travolta are my favourite actors for a reason🔥🔥 I’ve watched this soo many times
Thanks for the recap
I think we can just call it a stand off lol

Plane need here:
Those aren’t the flaps, those are the elevators. The flaps are attached to the wings and aren’t control surfaces, don’t confuse the flaps for the ailerons what is used to bank the aircraft or if we’re talking about delta configuration the elevons what are basically ailerons and elevators mashed together
"Face.....off"
"An FBI agent takes trading places a little too seriously" lol
This really is an amazing movie. So over the top, so John Woo. Great summer flick.
Old movies where very good
Face Off is one of the greatest Cage and Travolta movies of all time. The acting with superb and the action was amazing. :D Con Air is a close one at 2nd place for me in Nick Cage action movies.
Great film
Honestly one of my favorite movies of all time.
So this is where the iconic laughing meme came from
One of my favorite movies
Movie: the main characters literally swap their faces, the bad guy takes over the good guy's life, good guy has to prove his innocence.
Title: "magnetic prison boots lmao"
When i watched this as a kid, i thought they did switched faces 😂
One of my all time favorite
this is my favorite movie
Name of movie
The best movie of both of them .watched in theatre back in the days🎉
One of my favorite hollywood movies with actors i love...❤❤❤❤
I love this movie, I’ve seen it thousands of times
Great old school movie this one.
I’ve seen this movie more times than it’s healthy to admit, and it took watching this recap to notice that Nicolas Cage and Thomas Jane (who are Patricia Arquette’s ex-husbands) appear on screen together.
The best movie of all times Face-Off
This movie was insanely good
One of the best movies they've done ❤❤
Movie was superb action packed and two of them gave the best performance
Legendary Film, with a legendary soundtrack.
Ang Lee plus Cage and Travolta in their prime.
And Gina Gershon was so hot back in the days
Ang Lee? You mean John Woo...
So Archer killed all those guards when escaping prison, and he's the good guy?
Travolta is a great actor
The amount of disbelief you have to suspend to watch this movie is a bit too much for me.
Omg so this is whyyyy I never understood that Nicolas Cage meme. Hqhahahahahahhahahaha
“I could eat a peach for hours”
Wow nice recap
Those prison iron boots are too heavy on her feet.
Solid movie.
Face off best movie.
I love the advanced technology yet there are still floppy discs, lol.
Although one of them only losses his ear😂😂😂😂
One of the best movies.
0:53 ive never seen someone just normally kiss like that lmao
They literally did the face swap surgery for the film. Very Method.
I remember watching this
Yeah, at the cinema, when it came out.
Face Off, damn am old😢😢😢😂😂😂😂😂
Xir Xilxamesh why can't I go super Saiyan?
THERE IS ALSO A LAUGHING MEME AND ITS HILARIOUS
So many face waterfalls!
That was a zip drive w a zip disk. I had one of those.
I am fine thanks
It was a great movie
I have seen this movie so many times
What kind of facility like that has no nursing staff and proper security?
plot twist castor is actually archer
Who wants to be Nicholas Cage or John Travolta?
This movie must have been so expensive to make. Woah!
This is one of my favorite movies!
its funny seeing as that this movie isnt as far fetched as one might think given a certain recent event
For a terrorist he slightly has morale
This title who put deserves to be on another film called Fortress
I've seen this movie where is the prison with the lead boots?
Genuinely shocked this video managed to go without claiming God developed the face-off tech or something.
I got just under halfway through this movie and I just couldn't... it's too ridiculous for me to finish the video.
Is that who I think it is in the red car 😬
That ending is truly satisfising
Danny Masterson doing what he knows best in this movie….
It’s not the left engines 🤦♂️ they’re engines one and two.
Oye, ¿puedes hacer un resumen de una película de 1993 llamada Blood in Blood out?
John Travolta should pretend to walk out from an interview where the interviewer asks him if he regretting doing Face Off. Implying to him this movie was a masterpiece.
its godamn nicolas cage
I forgot tommy flanagan is in this. He only has like 5 minutes of screen time. Great actor tho.
Cage got caged

Dna test? Fingerprint since only the face was swapped? His literal voice that was changed with a modifier?
I guess this somehow doesn't apply in this movie huh.
Actually wtf, did the doctor also gave castor a voice modif? Like, if he did why would he even mention this detail?
The whole faceswap is illegal operation that only him, lab owner and 2 agents knew. So they just assume its real Castor and Archer all along
@@HowToChangeName I get that but it doesn't mean they can't just test him. On top of that, as someone pointed out to me, they told him voice changer is very fragile yet look at all the shit he goes through.
Explain everything about a movie except the actual names of the movie Lol
Xir Xilxamesh what time is it?
Masterson
