I really like this. I like that you tried to give it another shot and videoed your experience. I like that you were honest and that you didn’t torture yourself with the rest of the book. Do you think this type of video will be something you continue doing? Also, you’re not alone. I thought Night Circus was boring and I didn’t care about anyone.
*SPOILERYISH COMMENT INCOMING BEWARE* ……… I know sooooo many people that LOVE this book, but I actually agree with you 100%. I read it because a friend of mine loved it and although I thought it was well written and had good prose at times, I feel like the plot just went nowhere and that the stakes weren’t really there. Like I wasn’t upset at the thought that one of the lovers might die or that any of the characters were dying. I liked the world, but I’m a character lover and the characters in this one just didn’t do it for me. 😂 I’m happy to find someone else who felt something similar to me on this one.
I've been putting this book off because I'm afraid to dislike when Eliot LOVES this book... Flowery writing is not my favorite... Circus content is also not my favorite(other than the movie Bronco Billy 😆)... I did try to start the audiobook a couple years ago, but wasn't liking the narration, so I'm going to have to read with my EYEBALLS 👀 eventually... I have the copy Eliot gave me sitting right here on my shelf 😁 Hmmm... My most disliked book 🤔 To me it has to be a book I finished rather than a DNF... So BUNNY it is... Oh, one that REALLY disappointed me considering all the hype from my female friends... 50 Shades of Grey 🙄
That could really put a wrench in this lol but if I remember correctly I think he really enjoyed Bunny but I know it wasn’t the same amount as the night circus 😂
ooo doggos!!!! so cute this was a good video idea
The dogs are the circus 😂

I’m glad you enjoyed it! I didn’t know if it would be an interesting concept or not. Yeah I totally could do it again in the future!
I read this a year or two ago and gave it like 2.5 or 3.5 .. it was not a fave but it was my friends favorite so i read it for her..
Yeah I think it’s really a hit or miss for people, doesn’t seem to have a middle ground
