Thank you I loved haunted house I just got a call to pick up a study on drowning, and starling house after hearing the way you recap the book I can’t wait I be to start with starling house look forward your next video📚
I love that you recapped them all at the end. I always get to the end of videos like these and never remember which books were talked about. I love The Haunting of Hill House, and I’m still looking forward to reading A Haunting on the Hill. And you’ve convinced me to read the other two!
I hear your pronunciation as "Sterling" which doesn't hit the caged bird metaphor and bird imagery in the book. Starlings are a bird, Sterling is not. Just wondering. Could be a regional accent, but....?
@@ryreadsit's also me and how I hear things. I'm a fan of Noah Lugeons who I thought was monikered as "no illusions". Lol Harrow is just so great with symbolism and birds are that. Especially starlings. In my neck of the woods, starlings are a beautiful pest. Non-native they are certainly an example of survival regardless of what humans do. In Opal's coal poisoned world of Eden in Starling House I love the symbol.

You should try "The Hacienda" by Isabel Cañas.

I checked out starling house at the library and still reading it
I hope you are enjoying it so far :)
I liked in the Starling House the man was supposed to be sorta busted looking
Not super handsome
Gave me beauty and the beast vibes
You know what I never thought about that. I did really appreciate that though. Every line wasn’t how tall and beautiful he is.
Busted looking 😂😂
