That's a really great tutorial! Without saying a word, you teached us a lot! Appreciate it man 👌 And this video finally convinced me to get the Action 4 over Pocket 3 or anything else. With GyroFlow a gimbal is almost rendered useless, save for tracking perhaps.
Thanks for the kind words! Action 4 has its downsides, too. I have to deal with blurring of the picture due to camera shake. For this you have to make a fast shutter speed, and therefore we get a lot of noise in the picture. On gimbal there is no such problem. And for comfortable work GyroFlow needs a modern computer. You can download the RAW video in the description and see how much noise there is. I wish you to make the right choice!
@@tripsandwalks3177 For low light shots I'm going to use Sony A6400 with Sigma primes and Pixel 7pro. Action 4 in decent lighting conditions.

Thanks for sharing! Have you tried using a fixed shutter speed? Eg. the classic 180'... Ive heard using 90', 45' and then add motion blur in post, will reduce any unwanted jello once the footage is stabilized.
Hi! I found for me a balance between shutter speed length, amount of noise and blurring of the picture from camera shake. You can try other combinations. If you make the shutter speed shorter by half, you'll get twice as much noise, but half as much blur from camera shake. It's your choice. I don't really want to use a fixed shutter speed, it's a hassle for me. It's an action camera, I want to get it out and shoot without any fuss.

What settings are preserved in the LUT? I noticed when saving a custom LUT some things like the brightness from the curve adjustment and sharpness do not apply.
Everything about the color is stored in the LUT. Sharpness, motion blur, noise reduction and similar effects are not saved. But brightness I think should be saved, although I'm not sure. I don't use homemade LUTs, what I used in the video is the built-in Resolve LUT.
Did you do anything special to remove the grain from the footage (video noise?) Can clearly see it in the unedited footage but looks perfect in the edited
Hi! No, I didn't do anything extra. Just what I showed in the video. After the final editing, the noise still remained. It's just that TH-cam has additionally blurred it. It was possible to remove the noise even more in Resolve, but I did not. This would greatly slow down the work with the video.
In Color Correction he added a NR node and you can see what he did to do Noise Reduction in that part

Hi! I don't quite understand what your problem is. You may need to find the [Image adjustments] -> [Custom] menu item. There is an option to adjust the sharpness

Hi! Of course Rocksteady would do a great job with these videos. But I wanted to work with Gyroflow and see what would be better and more comfortable for me. I don't want to tell you that you have to use Gyroflow. As a result I concluded that Gyroflow stabilizes better than Rocksteady and cuts edges less, i.e. it is possible to get a wider angle of view with Gyroflow than with Rocksteady. But for this you have to pay additional work on the computer and not everyone will want to do it.
Color upgrade option available on osmo action 4 is already available or we have to use other program to upgrade colors?

@@TheInvisibleTraveler I'm sorry, I still didn't understand what Color Upgrade is. Perhaps you mean Color Grade. The camera itself has two color options - standard and D-Log M. The standard one does not need to be adjusted, the D-Log M can be processed in any video editor. On your phone or computer.

what if i just turn on rocksteady and use normal color, is it still okay if i use your setting in day light and low light?
You should know that Action 4 only writes gyrodata with stabilization turned off. If you are not going to use Gyroflow, of course turn on stabilization and whatever you want.

my gyroflow does not detect that its a osmo 4, you know how to solve this problem ( i did record with good settings )
Hi! Action 4 only writes gyrodata in two modes - 4k 4x3 50\60 fps and 4k 16x9 100\120 fps. Rocksteady must be disabled and Wide angle must be selected. The camera shows you this information when you disable Rocksteady. If you have selected the correct shooting modes, but gyroflow still doesn't see the gyro data, I have no idea how to fix it.

GyroFlow is free, and it works just as well with GoPro. The free version of Davinci will not have noise reduction, but editing and working with color and sound are available.

видимо да, мне главное чтобы лучше чем GoPro7 была, с которой перешел, до этого не пользовался предыдущими версиями DJI Action
what is the point is shooting in 4:3?
The point is framing in post-processing. During stabilization in GyroFlow you can also move frame up and down.
@@tripsandwalks3177 don't you lose resolution if cut the footage?
The width of the frame is the same. It is cropped at the top and bottom. Resolution is not lost. But if you stabilize it, of course it will be lost.
Forgot to mention this, 4x3 50\60 fps is one of the few modes where the camera records gyrodata. Gyroflow can't work without it. 4k 16x9 does not record gyro data.

@@VictorSkopets да, но не во всех режимах съёмки. 4к 50 ФПС 4х3 и 2,7к 100 фпс 16х9 при отключенной стабилизации

Я про ноду Color Space Transform. Что это даёт, если не секрет? У меня картинка получается слишком светлой после этой операции и шум лезет просто бешено.
