As a New Zealander it was very cool to hear about your experience! Driving in New Zealand is tricky even for locals as the roads are narrow and windy. Definitely agree that there should be some kind of training course for new drivers. Please come back one day with Rhett and film some videos - some of the nicest spots and coolest things to do aren't on the usual tourist route that people take around the LOTRs stuff (although that is all really cool too)
I have always loved trip episodes! I never commented to say that, but know that I know it’s something y’all worry about - I will always tell you! Please keep it up!
You guys have been providing a consistent daily entertainment show watched by millions of people across the globe - it doesn’t matter what platform it is. You should definitely consider yourselves celebrities just as equal as other stars
Keep the trip episodes coming! They're always some of my favorites and they're the ones I revisit the most. I still occasionally go back and listen to the old ones, especially the solo trip episodes. They're so fun! I get to live through you guys vicariously and usually these episodes come with the best stories and mishaps that make me cry laughing. So I hope you keep doing them!
huge fan of the episodes about yalls trips. as someone who never got to travel at all growing up, it makes me excited for all the fun things i will get to see and do in the future!
The reason why the British drive on the left is due to your sword hand on horseback being the dominant right hand but also tracks all the way back to Roman times where the rule was "Keep to the left". Unfortunately due to the hatred between the British and French at the time we created the Highway Act in 1773 to dictate what side to drive on. We decided left and the French decided right, depending on the worldwide affiliation between British and French pretty much decided what side you drive on.
My brother does action sports and just toured NZ (probably when Link did tbh) and he bungee jumped off a bridge while riding his BMX bike. The process and safety precautions for that was “can I?” and “sure”. 😆
I listened to this during commute back from work, but had to revisit the vid version for the pictures :) Also just wanted to say; Earbiscuits will always be my favourite podcast to listen to! Thank you for taking the time to make these🤗 I laughed so hard oncr again, especially at the part of the glowworms thing where link goes on this whole tantrum/amazement like a little kid. I can totally resonate with that :) loved it
It’s my lifelong dream to go to Hobbiton one day so when I read the title of this video I got so happy and excited ❤ So happy for you Link hopefully one day I get to go there too 😊
The end of the tour was the green dragon inn. I went to Hobbiton on my birthday back in November and loved it and went to mount Doom and hiked a little as well. Also enjoyed Weta workshop. Loved everything about New Zealand.
Link - you can go on a jetboat trip in Southern Oregon through the Hellsgate Canyon. Very picturesque and has been used as a backdrop in several Hollywood films.
I’m moving to Wellington in a few weeks for uni and I’m so excited. People keep asking why I chose to go to New Zealand instead of staying in the us and I’m just like “how could I not???”
@helenacohen2185 best of luck in my home country. Be prepared for a few culture shocks, we are a laid back and easy going people. You'll see many people wandering around barefoot, it's normal in NZ. Kia Ora and welcome to our country, may the time you spend here be enriching ❤
Being an Aussie we have a very competitive streak aimed at New Zealand and vice versa for them but I have no qualms in saying I agree Link New Zealand is beautiful They are very much like Australians Laid back and bare footed 😊
As a Kiwi living in Perth, I'd have to agree. But while we do have that competitive streak, we also have a comradery that's hard to explain in some ways. I like to think of Aussies and Kiwis as neighbours in the same street .... "my cars better than yours, but if anyone f*cks with ya mate, I've got your back"
Exactly I actually love Kiwis They are like Kin and we have this whole section of the world just for us to claim but the gloves are off when it comes to sport 😂
I very much agree on Link's take about the photo taking on vacation. Outside a handful shots, I completely stopped doing that. I used to have over 1,000 new pictures on my iPhone after every vacation and I would maybe favourite a handful to look at every once in a while, the rest was just clogging up storage. Living in the moment is much better.
We have a province called "Zeeland" over here in the Netherlands to this day 😉A historic Dutch explorer called Abel Tasman became the first European to sight New Zealand!
Don't worry Rhett. That's hardly a mistake. Happens to people at every live event and I've never once remembered who made the little flub. It's no Adele Dazeem :p
Man links kids have the coolest life. An emotional available father, and they get to do such amazing things. I’m so damn jealous lol. This would be a DREAM to visit.
I really enjoyed this episode. Of course Link, the craziest driver in America(and New Zeland) said he enjoys no stops or lights....madman *Hand fart noise*
Old Zealand would be Zeeland, a province of the Netherlands, where the Dutch explorer Abel Tasman (Tasmania!) was thinking of when he saw the clam-banks on the shores of the Southern Island.
some part of my brain is so curious about how you'd experience my country lmao. driving manual, toilets everywhere, steep stairs, smaller beds, smaller towns in general, im just.. i can't imagine you liking it lmao
100% agree with Link on the meat pies. Being able to just go into any random corner store and get a fresh, warm, savory pie was one of my favorite things about NZ, lol.
Kia Ora from New Zealand... the pub at Hobbiton is the Green Dragon Inn... side fact: I have played Pathfinder at the Green Dragon Inn, its booked out yearly for an event where we all go in cosplay (if you want), and play RPGs. 😁😁
There are jet boats in Wisconsin dells, wi. $35 last I checked. No waiver. No orientation. No seatbelts. NO LIFEJACKETS. And there are cliffs and other boats on the river and people floating down the river on tubes to no hit. And beautiful rock formations. We go almost every summer.
He’s taking the hobbits to Isengard-gard-gard-gard-gard 😂 When you said Kristy was afraid of caves I was disappointed that you guys wouldn’t have done waitomo (Pronounced Why-TOE-moe : in English-English, not the Māori pronunciation) Anyway so glad for you all that you went through the caves and enjoyed your trip overall. Bummer about the weather, though proper summer isn’t really till jan/feb. Links accent cracked me up and that one sentence was pretty spot on … after that though, no comment 😅 Another note, fatal car accidents where international visitors have been behind the wheel are no joke. That old dude in Queenstown knew you were a foreigner and you were probably the 5th tourist to cut him off that month. The Aussie have creepy crawlies predators, the kiwis have you all blimmen tourists 😅 Btw when Rhett asked you if nz was better than Aus, the correct answer would have been Yes, end of story 🖤🖤
As a kiwi, in reference to the crossing the road thing. We dont have signs on the ground reminding you to look for a good (and very kiwi) reason.... if you cant look both ways before stepping into traffic, then natural selection has taken its course 😂😂😂😂
Also gotta add about the waiver thing ... we basically take the stance of "if you can't figure out your life could potentially be in danger, then this probably isn't for you"
Dang man. I feel bad that Rhett grew up in a “don’t screw up” household. Imagine your self worth tied to that nonsense. I get why he has to win everything now.. makes me feel even worse for the guy. …And the thought of Link driving on the other side of the road gives my anxiety anxiety.
People often forget the first 3 hobbit movies, they are also part of the series people. My biggest connection with NZ is manuka honey, expensive but really helpful in cold. And NZ lamb, delicious 😎😎
As someone from BC, Canada, hearing Link say that they call chicken sandwiches "chicken burgers" is so funny. I've always called them chicken burgers and find it weird that lots of restaurants here do actually label them as chicken sandwiches. Like it's just like a hamburger but the patty is made of chicken
Link: you were never obligated to be in charge of your kid’s experience. You are a good dad and your kids know it. Rhett: No one heard you say fiveth. I guarantee it.
Once when I was in England at someone's home with a lot of friends over I asked if I could use the bathroom. Someone said, "It's so strange that Americans say bathroom when they need to use the toilet". I said, "I think it is way more strange that British people ask to use your toilet because they need to wash their hands".
Your friend says, “it’s okay, buddy”. Your best friend for life says, “seventy five-th, huh?” That’s the difference.
Link could've whispered, "We're still good." to Rhett in solidarity.
😂 perfect 👍🏻
We're still good!
Rhett and Link have some of the most underrated wardrobes ever. They always look their best! ❤️
I agree! They have great style. Today they look so warm and cozy.
Those vacation episodes are my favorite ones! Loved it! 👏😊
Have a Mythical Day!😊
Love it!
Me too, I don’t know why people complain about them. They are so much fun.
It's only because they don't know how to take full advantage of being rich. Their vacations seem hella boring and cookie cutter.
Same!! I love vacation episodes the most

So many better things in nz thooo
Come and visit us one day

“Make Way” signs are actually “Give Way” here in NZ 😂 for the record. Also, so cool to hear about your experiences in Aotearoa NZ!!
huge fan of the episodes about yalls trips. as someone who never got to travel at all growing up, it makes me excited for all the fun things i will get to see and do in the future!
My family owns the Waitomo caves. So glad you enjoyed it 😊

As a Kiwi, I've been waiting for you to visit for so long and I'm so glad you enjoyed my country!
Stinky girl

Seventy fiveth was so in Rhetts head that he was even messing up the rosetta stone add 😂😂😂
This gonna be a dang good episode 💯❤️🤙🏻
Edit: Rhett looks good in flannel, and I also really like Links sweater. The gents know what’s up

Can't believe I was in the same country as Link and had no idea! Glad you enjoyed your stay and yes, we are better than Australia :)
I’m so sad the episode is over already, I can never have enough ear biscuits!😊
Ok
I love these episodes. I love this podcast in general 🫶
The Neals are so adorable! What a fun vacation!
Love trip stories episodes!! Thank you for sharing 💜💜💜
It’s my lifelong dream to go to Hobbiton one day so when I read the title of this video I got so happy and excited ❤ So happy for you Link hopefully one day I get to go there too 😊
It’s not super good, a lot of it is under repair during the year you gotta check before you go
Have a Mythical Day!😊

OMGG FINALLY SOMEONE CAME TO NEW ZEALAND! LOVE FROM OTOROHANGA THE CLOSEST TOWN TO THE WAITOMO CAVES
Vacation/adventure episodes are by far my favorite hahaha
So happy you visited New Zealand!
Lando’s hair isn’t blonde anymore and he’s gotten so big.

Rhett and link tour of New Zealand. Lesh go!!!
Gosh their kids are so fortunate it’s crazy haha
22:32 Thank you editors! Beat me to it.
The signs say "give way" but they can be referred to as yield signs also. But there are most definitely stop signs lol.
I haven’t been home in 10 years and was wondering about the road signs he was talking about.
And glad to hear stop signs still exist😅

Awesome job boys with the podcast .

Yes I love Rhett and link. Yes I love ear biscuits. Yes I will watch whatever you guys talk about! 🤙🏼
Visiting Hobbiton is my dream! I wish it would happen some day, but it won't. Man, that place is so awesome!
Link is the reason my family and I started watching Survivor and now we can’t stop!! I really want Link to apply to be on survivor!
Absolutely love your sweater Link!!!!!

As a Swiss viewer I’ve always been interested in learning more about Rhetts Swiss friend. 😂 It’d be cool if he could be integrated in a video somehow
I live 5 minutes away from Hobbiton and still have never been lol 👍
Fan from New Zealand!! Woot! Love this!!
We have a province called "Zeeland" over here in the Netherlands to this day 😉A historic Dutch explorer called Abel Tasman became the first European to sight New Zealand!

It’s ok Rhett, you’re still cool 😎 You just gave yourself a little Irish accent for a moment. NO BIG DEAL.
Excellent shirts today boys! !

I want to see Rhett’s new tattoo on his left forearm!
15 entire minutes on the Emmy’s mess up is so funny

Wai - toe - moe is how Waitomo is pronounced, you got it right the second time Link! :)
Love Link’s sweater ❤❤❤
Links got some dominant genes. All three kids look exactly like him
Interesting. I think they all look exactly like his wife!
You go to the Green Dragon Inn, they sell shirts and models. Models come from Weta Studio in Wellington. I just got back!
Glad you liked nz bro, sounds like our chilled attitude washed off on you
There is a place in Alabama that you can see glow worms called Dismal’s Canyon. There is a camp ground and cabins near by.

Awww Link! Our signs say Give Way, not Make Way 🤣 oh dear, quite a different meaning you took. Theyre pretty much the same as Yield 😆
Link: you were never obligated to be in charge of your kid’s experience. You are a good dad and your kids know it.
Rhett: No one heard you say fiveth. I guarantee it.
Funny how Rhett makes a big deal about Link pointing out Rhett’s mistake when Rhett harps on EVERY little thing that Link messes up.
???? Chill out dudw
The audience does the same, so you kinda get used to it 💀
@@Andrein.3237 I am quite chill. Lol… just noticing something. I feel bad for Link sometimes because Rhett doesn’t let anything go that he does.

Also Link, you’ve got to visit a bit outside of Queenstown. So much more to NZ than Queenstown or Auckland
