Great overall tutorial. If I'm using Brizy page builder, how much of the tutorial is applicable. For example, if I design the menu in Brizy, the settings within the customizer wouldn't matter. Correct?

Do you think this theme would be most comparable to the Astra theme? My site is a bit messed up and it seems that more videos I watch and the more "improvements" I make either makes it worse or does nothing. I'm really liking the look of blocksy. It is certainly a lot more flexible and has more features than divi. I am seriously considering using it for my next site. I wonder how the performance compares to divi theme.
Well it just depends on the builder you choose. Blocksy can work with all builders, it had some pretty good gtmetrix scores. I’m really looking forward to their future development. I love Divi but the theme is sort of neglected and they mainly focus on the builder
@@darrelwilson it certainly seems as though you could easily get away without even using a builder for many sites. The theme has sufficient customisation and you can do a lot with guttenberg now.

Haha, after following along through the first 55 minutes of the tutorial I found that I couldn't edit the main image on the home page. Such a simple thing to do, but I couldn't. Backed up page, reinstalled the starter template, but that didn't work. The edit tab for the main image was above the header and disappeared when I tried to select it. Finally, I reset the basic settings and was able to access the edit tab again and it's appearing below the header now. Wth. Now I want to go through the tutorial again to see what exactly the problem was. I'm a wp noob and am looking forward to the day when things work like they are supposed to and do in the video.
Baaah I'm struggling with exactly this - nowhere does it allow me to choose the main image for the home page?! Did you figure it out by any chance? I'm not sure what edit tab you are talking about...
@@Fionaaa40 It can be done through elementor. Go to elementor -- right click on the image and then click on navigator -- select the first section -- then edit section will appear -- go to style over there -- and change the image..

I just had absolutely no idea that a page builder needed to be installed; I think it should have installed automatically with installing the website but it didn't, so had to do it manually.

I have 2 questions. 1- For some reason i don't have the locked icon next to the adress bar (https) after installed the theme. 2- At 5:37 when you go on edit page i don't have the option for changing the page structure. Had to install the other page builder. I just had absolutely no idea that a page builder needed to be installed; I think it should have installed automatically with installing the website but it didn't, so had to do it manually.

1- For some reason i don't have the locked icon next to the adress bar (https) after installed the theme.
2- At 5:37 when you go on edit page i don't have the option for changing the page structure. I don't see as well Blocksy child parent setting.
