This... Is honestly beyond stunning. This, right here, is the *_perfect_* Wall-E playable desk toy. besides needing some friction in a few spots the only thing he's missing is a movable thumb. I don't have a 3D printer, nor do I have access to any places with a public use 3D printer, so I genuinely have to ask if you would be willing to print these through commission, and if so I'd like to know what you'd charge to print the little guy's parts and ship them.
@@themblue8236 I would be paying for the service of someone printing something that is publicly available, the expense would not be for the shape of the item/character, but to cover the materials used as well as the shipping. The model being public means you aren't purchasing it. You're just paring the labor and material expenses for someone else to print it because you haven't the tools necessary to do so, yourself.
You guys outdone yourself! This design and assembly mechanics are a great culmination of 3D modelling and printing experience. Hope you sell loads of these!
Dude you would be a awesome toy maker. Toys these days now are so...ugh. I remember as a kid how much fun I had with toys that could move better, pose better and were much more to play with. You have a gift.
Seeing him snap together so easily is so satisfying- I'd love to see a version of this where you can open his front and put something small inside if that would be possible!
Honesty whoever designed this is a genius. Im printing the smaller parts right now and the way they positioned it so this can be made with 0 supports. Mind blowing! I love seeing walle coming to existence right in front of me ❤
It would be a bit hard actually, because the Wall-E's lenses uses the same storage distribution as the arms, so you would need to see how to compact his eyes into themselves, and about the joints of the tracks, would be required to be flexible and to go some hinges between the tracks and go into the center of the compaction. Because the Transforming Wall-E toy from 2008, kinda almost make it, but it could only be limited to have narrow and compacted tracks, and compacted arms and lenses, or the same proportion, but the cube was a bit bigger. I got the toy, so I spend days analysing the model itself.
thats what i expected with that descripton - "Foldable Wall-e print" :/ lack of glue is impressive, but thats about it. Rest is not that hard to make, tho will take some experimentation
I like the way wall-e looks. It reminds me of those toys over there. It is seen that you have improved a lot in your 3d impressions since the last time I saw you, keep it up my friend
Amazing, I think the most true to form Wall-E out there. My grandson wants a robot for his birthday now that he heard I have a 3D printer, so I guess I better get cracking.
@@fab365_official Sorry to bother you, I have printed it and mine doesn't click together as permanently as your video 'appears' to show. Are the six sides and silver front insert supposed to be glued after clicking together? Also after folding in and positioning the track wheels assembly, they drop down quite easily. should they be pushed in and then glued as well?
very cool. Love these designs. I was hoping the garbage masher door would open on him too... but the amount of movable parts on him is very cool as it is!
Very impressive design. The only improvement it needs is something to hold the eyes in position when you move them. Otherwise this design is perfect. So well done.

I don't think my Flashforge Finder can print this specifically because It don't have that print bed sheet so removing the print afterwards involves a spatula that will break small parts. Have failed to print other foldables too, for the same reason.
printed the first half last night and will do the second part tonight and then put it all together tomorrow can't wait for it to be done will be posting photos
For anyone who's planning to assemble this thing: YOU CAN'T FORCE THE TRACKS, DON'T TRY IT! You'll only hurt your fingers. Rather than that, try using a nails file on the pins and align them one by one - first the lower part, than the middle one, and finally the top part.
This is great and all, but what i wanna know is why did you make his body one weird little thing where you have to fold it in order to make it look like a cube? Couldn’t you just make a regular cube and treads?
How well would this print in PETG on an original Ender 3? I've had great issues with petgs stability, but it's all I've got at the moment. Would I need to adjust anything to make it work better? I foresee lots of issues with the connections that hold the body together, as with the neck. Phenomenal work though! That's an incredible model, especially with the extra gimmicks like the moving tracks and rear hinge. You've outdone yourself!
