Cukoo was such a fun film that doesn't take itself as seriously as you guys are I think. It's not meant to be a deep film. I loved it. Hunter was amazing!!
Yeah I saw an ad for it and it looked like a spooky town creature horror, which I’m 100% for. Some movies just need to be fun and I can’t wait to check it out in a couple weeks

I liked it as just a weird monster movie, I think there are elements of something to be said in there about women and bodily autonomy but it's not the focus by any means. I want to know more about the creature and about what's going but I think we're supposed to know as much as Gretchen knows.
I saw this movie last night and I think these guys saw a different movie than me. The sound part was off putting before the creature was onscreen but it wasn't cheap, the rewind/time loop disorientation effect was more annoying than the sound. Hunter's character was a bit annoying in the beginning but got better as it went. I wish the villian wasn't trying to gaslight the mc cause it wasn't done well and everyone else just seemed dumb for believing him.

Sometimes even if it has the worst reviews are actually good ones do to some actor's and sometimes it is just poor scripting
