    @Warrior1984100 actually, it was not a stunt. Thing was that when Lakewood caught fire, Binky saw the fire, which rattled him. when the Lakewood students went to Mighty Mountain, his trauma caused him to pull the alarm.

  • @pytko3
    @pytko3 13 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    My freshman year in highschool, there was heavy rain outside and I had a feeling that someone was going to pull the fire alarm just so it would cause everyone to go outside and get soaked and....I was right! To prevent stuff like that from happening again, my school put protection around the alarms and security cameras in the ceiling and it reduced that problem GREATLY.
    Kids do this because they think it's funny, well I can assure you...IT'S NOT!

    • @ZakWolf
      @ZakWolf 9 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      +Gaby “Lexicona1996” George In the past, they had fire alarm boxes on the streets in case someone spotted a fire, or if people evacuating their building couldn't actually call the fire department. Cell phones and other modern technology has mostly made them obsolete, though my hometown of Brockton, MA still uses them!

    • @jakemeyer3015
      @jakemeyer3015 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Used to be quite common in the days before cell phones. If you saw a fire or other emergency you would go to the nearest box, pull it and wait for the fire trucks. Then you would tell them where to go.

      @@okamijubei Here in Brockton MA, we still have them in place, as a backup in case the electricity and cellular services go out. Our fire department has a dedicated signal division that maintains those fire alarm boxes and the city's traffic lights.

    Don’t pull the fire alarm or call 911 if there is not an emergency, such as a fire, burglary, or if someone needs urgent medical attention, since it distracts police, firefighters, and paramedics from doing their job and wastes resources, such as time, money, workmanship, lives, and gas from emergency service vehicles. And that is when you have to pay a fine of anywhere between $2,000-$10,000.
