[Beautiful quality. I have just bought a g7 with this lens too but am an absolute beginer. I just used my action camera before which i will still use because of it's versatility and ease but i'd love to know how to get your cinematic quality like here
Beautiful, you have a real gift in videography. You really ought to make more. Also, much thanks for convincing me to invest in the 20mm f1.7 over the 25mm f1.7
Great footage! I am not sure but it seems like the tighter shots look a little more cinematic than when you zoom out and shoot a building, etc. For the price, the lens is gold.
Thank you :) when you get close to an object you get that short dept of field, I guess that seems a bit more cinematic than the wide shots. Yes, it's great value, a really sharp lens!
Hey nice video! I have the same lens but on a GF7. I was wondering what settings you used on the bees at around 0:08? I'm trying to get the same effect of motion blur (trying to avoid the judder). Is it 1080p 24p at 1/50 shutter speed? Thanks!
@@TheophilusCarlos I believe the G7 doesn't have IBIS. Only lens stabilization. I can be a bit hard to avoid the "judder"... you have to be very smooth or just have it still on a tripod or something.
Hello, I'm pretty sure I didn't use any ND filter when I made this, only a standard UV filter. I think the grading might give it sort of a "nd filter look" to it.
@@jonaszczyszczon Not sure, because I haven't tried the 25mm. But I think the 20mm is a bit sharper but the 25mm on the other hand has quicker autofocus. I would go for the one you can get the best deal on... I think you can buy the 25mm for like 100$ new.

Thank you for the kind words and glad I've could help. Hopefully I find some time to do some more :)
How has the 20mm worked out for you good ?
This was beautiful.
Very nice, I wish to see some indoors shots with these lens

Thank you! I'm pretty sure I recorded everything in 4k 24p.. I can't remember the exact settings to be honest.
@@gutze101 No worries 🙂
@@gutze101 I read from the comments you used a G7? Did that have IBIS (In Body Image Stabilisation) when you were recording?

With the crop factor of Panasonic G7 sensor the 20 mm. become a 40mm.? Am i right?
That's right!
Crispy my dude ! How was it using the 20mm in terms of focus
Thanks! The auto focus is pretty bad tbh.
how about for photo?@@gutze101
@@tbd3602 for photo it's alright I would say
what picture profile did you use? any color grading/luts?
Cinelike D, all colors have been tweaked a bit in premiere pro.
Can I ask what nd filter you use please? Thanks from Sydney

suuuper sharp. love this camera. subbed! check out my g7 cinematic as well :)
It looks really stable, yet most people will say that the cam has bad stability. How'd you do it?
The g7 has pretty bad stability.. you have to be very steady on your hand and do slow movements. I also use the warp stabilizer in premiere.
20mm 1.7 or 25mm 1.7?
20mm, it's in the title :)
@@gutze101 which is better to choose for Panasonic G7?
