    Thank you! This has helped a lot! I am just starting my relationship in the old ways with the gods. I have had some positive, awesome things happen in a situation that was affecting my wife with her job and I called out to them for help. They came through in a way that totally blew me away! Thank you Father Odin, Thor, Freya, Freyer, Tyr and the Vanir for helping! I am looking forward to growing and learning more. Thank you for posting this video. Skål!!

      @@TheSacredStew Thor, Tyr and Freyer. Thor because he's protected me in some very 'ugly' situations in my life. Tyr because of who I am. Freyer because I'm kind of a 'weather nut' and he has a good handle on that. I'm pretty sure that as I grow, I will find more Asir and Vanir that have been there for me. I think then an attraction to more gods would surely get my attention. Thanks for asking! Skål!

      Here is an old Finnish mead recipe I like. Should give that a try and let me know what ya think.
      5 liters of water
      250 grams of sugar
      250 grams of brown sugar
      200 grams of cane sugar
      7 grams of dextrose (to jumpstart the fermentation so it takes a little less time)
      1½ lemons' juice
      1 lime's juice
      A pinch of yeast
      Boil 2.5 liters of water, pour it over the sugars and juice, stir until all the sugar has dissolved, then add 2.5 liters of cold water. Wait until it cools down to 37 degrees Celsius and add a pinch of yeast the size of two peas (dissolve the yeast in a bit of water first).
      Ferment for a day, bottle (add about a teaspoon or a couple of sugar per bottle + a few raisins), cap loosely and refrigerate when raisins refuse to fall to the bottom when the bottle is tapped gently.

    New practicer here, but my wife recently had an amazing moment, she has pcos and hasn't been able to have her period for months and I brought out an offering and asked for help with her, the next night she had a dream of freyja visiting her and giving her am unknown liquid that she was told her mind wouldn't understand, and 3 days later she had her period, countless doctors, several different medications and what not, did nothing, but then this happened and it makes me very happy to know the gods are smiling upon us, the next child we have if female will be named freyja in her honour.

    I recently had a connection I think with Braggi and Odin. I had asked that while in my sleep I really wanted to learn false chord screams for death metal and in my dream I was shown exactly how to do it I woke up the very next day and started practicing and I was able to hit it. I looked up on top of my work building sitting in my car and saw two Ravens looking down upon me this was probably the best moment of my life. I took a picture of them and I'm able to scream death metal.

      I learn from outer body experiences. Yes I had made and offering to all the gods in hospitality. Even recently asking Freya for some help with love and she didn't show me, but I seen a red haired girl in my sleep. I noticed a red head who never takes her eyes off me at work. I come from an agnostic background but this is weird when things are showing themselves to me like this also finally found some pagan and wiccan friends I begged for.

    Beautiful offering my brother! I've never really connected to Balder yet watching you do so was indeed the highlight of my morning. I use my offering bowls often and yes parchment paper is good to write on and burn in a hearth or even campfire. I have felt a great connection to Freyja and Odin in the past and it was very much like you said very simple and nothing massive besides Yule. There is something written about not offering or asking too much. Not sure from where but I know I've read it. My memory is not exactly the best. Lol. Respect and love to you and may the Gods and Goddesses keep you in this difficult time we as a people are facing.

      Thank you @douhnut3639 for your concern, but the truth is no one here wants to go to heaven and spend eternity on our knees worshipping God. They strive to be courageous in pursuit of Valhala, where eternity is an ongoing reflection of the upheld values and virtues that were practiced while alive on earth. With all due respect, you're barking up the wrong trees in here. But since you peeked in, may Odin open your eyes so you may see what the Abrahamic faiths have done to this world for 2000 years. Jesus said, he who lives by the sword will die by the sword, and this community agrees with that statement and is happy to accept such fate if death comes as a result of defending family and nation against any threat. Turning the other cheek is not an option in here.

I do not agree with them and have always found your videos insightful, and filled with a deep passion for learning and growing yourself awa others of the faith. I feel like you talk about the faith in an uncomplicated way that makes it very easy for new followers and those who have been in this faith for awhile to connect not only on a basic level throughout everyday life but on a spiritual level. I would keep up the good work. I really enjoy youre videos although yes sometimes the audio can get a bit unhearable when you are outside😅 We as a community are here and listening. Just to show them how ridiculous these ancient ideas are because trying to educate them with modern scientific information goes in one ear of the other ear. So by telling them that I worshiping a different God maybe they'll understand how ridiculous this stuff is. There are over 4,000 religions in this world with about 50,000 different gods and Supernatural invisible creatures.

    Nothing wrong with hipsters wanting to be Norse, it's pretty inclusive. Don't impress your outlook on the ideology though. You either submit to the basic concepts and definitions there in, or you just adopt some cool principles you like and create your own interpretation, aka faith. Nothing wrong with that, but you don't get into Valhalla by clicking into a 9-5 at your tech job/ TH-cam channel and holding an axe after a coronary. The battle slain earned their place at the table as WARRIORS not merchants or tradesman. There's a difference and dozens more halls for them to go to so they don't have to fight the battle eternal.

I give an offering in my backyard here and there, based on life is going. I cannot stress enough how many times I saw 2 crows land near me(I know Odin had ravens but it’s still strong symbolism), or have felt their presence in nature. I’ve had so many experiences with the gods in such a short amount of time. This isn’t like Christianity where you beg for things. It’s a simple relationship, hope everyone can experience this

    I personally think people need to quit referring to the northern peoples religions as “Viking”. Vikings were pirates and exporters and and maybe at best an occupation but that doesn’t always mean they were deeply religious or even ancestraly northern people as many other ethnic groups took part in joining the Heathens. Dna records are also showing that northern people “mingled” with whatever people were on the routes they explored occasionally bringing home people from other lands to join them (some by choice others by force of course). I cringe whenever I hear someone say they have Viking ancestry. Can you really prove that? Of course not! Same thing as those claiming to have gladiator ancestry😂. Your ancestry is from people in that region… Great vid though on religious practices.

In pagan, we can mix and match, tale what you need leave what you don't. I gather religion was matriarchal, honoring mother earth years prior to, just honoring the earth is being real.

    You can grow in relationships with any god of any religion in that way. The gods are nothing more than demonic spirits. You have to work your way to false paradises in all religions that are false. There is only one that is a free gift and Jesus Christ paid for your sins just accept his payment.

    2.11 minutes into your video I was convinced you are not someone I should be listening too. Why? The word heathen, was given to people that didn't believe, or practice Abrahamic beliefs. So you identifying people that believe in the old gods in that manner.....🤦🏽‍♂️. I wish you nothing but the best.

      Do demons and the devil teach love and good compassionate lessons that build moral character and help society in healthy ways? I used to be a hard Christian and now I'm following the Norse Gods. The devil and his demons is a completely different understanding and fake compared to my experiences with the old gods.

      @@crcheslock I have a question man: I keep finding comments saying that there seems to be two types of norse believers: white- washed norse pagans (thats what iv decided to call them) and reall norse pagans. I mean, people white wash a lot of stuff, but people here are saying that some 'norse pagans' are only doing it to be unique, which sadly makes sense. One comment I think on here was from a guy apparently from I think direct viking decent and he was super pissed at the guy in the video for 'white washing' (I have no other terms Im sorry if that sounds stupid) the religion. And he also said that If you arent born into it, you have no right to call yoirself a norse pagan. Is that true? And if there are things that differ or depend can you call them out? Thank you.

    • @crcheslock
      @crcheslock 22 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The fact that people are saying you have to be born into Norse Paganism is flat out wrong. I don't follow a religion because I was born into it or because of my heritage. I am Scandinavian but that doesn't matter. If you believe, ACTUALLY believe in the old Norse Gods and everything else then ALL humankind are welcome to worship their "creators" There is no room for anyone saying you have to be born into a religion to follow. I understand if they claim that being a viking is what's popular so people just jump into it un-authentically or you being a person born into it might see it as your heritage but if you believe in the old gods that much then why can't someone who was created by your gods but lives in Italy not be Norse pagan?

    • @crcheslock
      @crcheslock 22 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Unless these people believe in gods outside of the Norse pantheon saying people are born into the religion is false.
