- Staverleigh N Gauge Layout depicts a fictional Great Western Railway branch line terminus set in the South West during the late 1940s.
Trains modelled are prototypical of the wider GWR network and liveries modelled range from 1906 - 1949.
There are also the occasional out of region guests!
Lovely layout, the back scene makes the whole atmosphere.
Thank you. :)
@@greatworldwiderailways Ditto. Love the background sounds as well.
@@calibrais thank you. :)
Wow lovely looking and sounding Layout. Did you make the bird sound recording it's great. The Trackwork is just enough. Lovely Buildings and atmosphere. Well done. Best wishes Richard
I am thinking about building a small G gauge GWR layout too. Can you tell me what brand of structures you used? Thanks.
Yeah, so the goods shed, engine shed and main station building are Ratio kits, the store shed is scratch built, and the signal box is an old Hornby Liddle end one. The bridge is a Scalescenes kit.
@@greatworldwiderailways Thanks so much!
How do you do the uncoupling, or is that done by hand when the camera isn't looking? I know some people use the small Peco uncoupler arm attached to the couplings but I can't see if you have those arms attached to the couplings)
sorry if you have already said this, but what are the dimensions of the layout? thanks
What colour paints did you use to get the colour of the stone work on the station walls?
