if you guys want to make a LOT of money super fast and have the City Living expansion pack, wait till the romance festival comes in town and go to it, harvest the dragon fruit plant that is at the festival and plant it in your home lot, from 2 plants i make 3k+ each time i harvest it!
1:17 If you have Get Together, you can make a club for your sim where a Do is to swipe objects. They'll magically gain the ability to steal things when the club meets. Have them meet at a museum or art gallery. It's so funny to watch.
With Nifty Knitting you can combine it with that photo hack to get friends. Sell the photos on Plopsy and eventually the higher the skill the more money you make for photos. This also works really well with the interior decorator career and before and after pics as you get great at photography and have dozens to sell. The cupcake machine can also be replaced by a mod created by Ravasheen which is a small decor object.
Started playing Jungle Adventure recently, and the one way I've been experiencing with is related to the archaeology skill. The artifacts you excavate yourself earn an ok amount of money (200/300-ish to 1k simoleons depending on the rarity), but the ones mailed to you when you have high skill level earn you around 4k each time! Just gotta authenticate them and send them back
the cupcake machine does take up a lot of room but if you size it down it still works (assuming you can't get Ravasheen's piping bag mod that lets you bake cupcakes in a regular oven) the animations look odd (the shadow is still full sized and the cupcakes will move around on an invisible conveyor belt where the full sized one would be) but because it's operated from the outside you can size it down.
If you want to steal but don’t want the klepto trait you can make a club with one of the activities being swipe objects, then it’s unlocked even if you don’t have that trait
Glad you mentioned the present pile. I use it for parties & get random things. I'll also place one in a parent's room or garage/shed at the start of winter and have kids sometimes sneak a present. It's actually worked into my gameplay so I don't feel so cheaty.
You can also make money from the decorations box in Seasons. Just pull out decorations over and over again and then sell them off. Also, you can get money from the Wishing Well from one of the Stuff Packs -- can't remember which one.
Oh my god THANK YOU. I’m not sure how I didn’t know about multiple of these. I’ve been playing this game for years and I still learn something new every day
I recently started to love fishing! My sim made 7000 dollars just by fishing in 6 days?!?! Psh. It’s my go to and it doesn’t take long to gain level 10 skill.
My go-to is usually farming, literally. Harvesting existing plants → growing plants at home → selling produces → buying some more seeds → selling more produces → grafting for even more exotic plants → selling even more produces. It's pretty mundane, but it works!
I LOVE to get money by blackmailing sims who I don’t like, something about it is weirdly soothing……Lol!!!! Btw I’m doing ALL of these when I get home!!!!!!!!
Love this video! Dumpsters are my favorite way to make some money in the game. For rags to riches, I make my Sim dumpster dive for all their household items and eventually I furnish the whole house with my dumpster goods, its fun times. Thanks for another great video, Kim
With the Paranormal pack, you get the oddities from appeasing the Spectres so you need wither a high medium skill or some kind of food, drink or craftable to give them.
I can't believe how many of these I was unaware of! Thank you :) some of my sim families might be thriving (not just getting by) after I've seen this 😋 I'm sorry if I've already said this, or if this is an odd compliment, but your voice is soft and comforting, you would rock a meditation guide imo ❤️ my social/communication skills suck lately, hopefully this isn't a weird thing to say 😅
I found one where if you have the simray from the scientist career, upgrade it with transform object, buy loads of very cheap items and then continuously transform them, it sometimes turns them into much more expensive items and you can then sell them off for a big profit
Enjoyable video as always! Since you asked who gets coal for Christmas, in Germany there is actually a myth that bad kids get coal for Christmas. Maybe that's why :)
I really enjoy these videos - I get so much inspiration to play! I'd love to see you rank all of the packs by particular criteria. Eg. Best CAS, best B&B, best gameplay, best for family players, most game-changing
With cottage living you can make money by asking the rabbits and birds for a gift. Sometimes you get very expensive plant like a orchid which you can plant to earn even more money.
I found your channel a couple days ago and although I already know a bunch of stuff and I tend to be creative with my story telling, you're such a joy to watch and I really enjoy your energy
She didn't mention it but you can also sell the baked goods that you can make. Some of those, especially at the higher quality and cooking levels, give loads of money.
Hehehe I love these kind of videos !!! My favourite way to make money in sims is frog breeding and collecting collectibles I also love painting/knitting and selling in plopsy 💕💕💕💕
I'm currently playing a spell caster family that lives on a farm. initially, money was made from our animals and gardening and I would copypasto it a bunch then sell it. they were able to buy a bigger farm house doing this until she learned burglarate which is how they got rich lol my sim and her husband would go out and burglarate the highest priced items while out and now their family wants for nothing lol
Another way to make money is to have your dog or cat mate, and then you can sell the puppies or kittens for 150 dollars, I believe. You obviously have to have the dogs and cats pack though.
I'm playing a collector legacy challenge and I earned money from sending bee swarms for gifts, sending a dog for gifts and having him collect feathers from pee bushes
I'm always looking for mire ways to get cash - especially when the kids are in the toddler stage and normal jobs are inconvenient. Do you know anything about the uses for clubs? I'd like to get better at that. Best I did was a family club to eat dinner together; it wasn't the best working thing I've ever done.
I love watching simmers do broke to rich challenges, I've always wanted to do one. But I don't really know how, I'm really limited to my packs. I have Get Famous, Cottage Living, Interior design, The Butler one, City Living, The free holiday pack, and Outdoor living. Are there any cool ways I can do a broke-to-rich challenge with these packs? Could someone tell me? Thanks :D

Knitting is out, Stealing is in👍
When I have a minor headache and need something to concentrate on I choose to listen to your voice for the calming effects.

Yes, and I noticed the items made with Ravasheen's mod sell for more

I actually get that a lot 😂 not weird at all
I think the dust bubbys is a cute idea for a kid sims, to be friends with a dust buddy. Its cute for a storyline.
I found one where if you have the simray from the scientist career, upgrade it with transform object, buy loads of very cheap items and then continuously transform them, it sometimes turns them into much more expensive items and you can then sell them off for a big profit
OUUU I like it
The cloning machine from the scientist career is good for making money too!
Enjoyable video as always!

heyy im german and this is very true 😂 santa comes and gifts the naughty kids coal lol
Dumpster > Nanocan
Sell the burnt items from the Build/Buy UI
I love me a dumpster
@@taylorsaurus Def.
Also, Dust Bunnies can summon archaeological frogs for like, thousands of Simoleons
4:39 my sim got a gravestone once…
🤣
The klepto trait is honestly my favorite way to make money plus it's funny when they try to just swipe crap in front of other sims lol

the fact that you could get rich by selling pictures of your face to strangers is scary haha
Could you please do an updated version of this video Taylor?
This would really help with the challenge.
If you have high end plants like orchids - you can make a ton of money juice fizzing (especially if you have more than one juice fizzer).

@@sabrinaloizides-merideth9874 that's so nice? Is it from the inventory?
@@marinamaciel66 no. it works just like she showed with the cupcakes. You click on them and you have the option to sell them to the bakery.

I literally almost killed a sim copy pasting things! lol.
I forgot to comment this yesterday, but your sim is stunning!
Got them off the gallery!
I am not that talented in CAS 😂
Welll that’s credit for something 🤷♀️😅
Thanks for this! Will definitely be trying all of these
I knew all of these so far, but I still enjoyed the video ♥
Ways to earn money:
- sell candles
- host golden parts and sell te awards
- sell school projects
- activate the active volcano lot
- become a model
How do you become a model?
@@digthewarmth you could be an influencer have a second sim make photos and have your ‘model’ sell them

Of course, if you have high relationship with bees, honey can be expensive. I also use beewax to make candles on candle machine from eco lifestyle
