Hi Heidi, Arco has a great understanding of sheet metal far beyond his years. I worked heavy steels for most of my working years so I some understanding but he surpasses me in soooo many ways. The Sema build is looking better with every new post my friends.Stay safe and be well eh !.

Good info for beginners to know! I have had to make some pretty curvy pieces of angled pieces!
And good for you! You are doing something that is amazing your little lady there. Sad to say not everybody can impress their lady! Lol!
    Thanks, Tom

Excellent demonstration and Heidi asks great questions when filming. One cool use for the stretcher is making little gauges from strips of steel. When you want an even curve on things, like the tops of my wings, I did exactly what you did to make a curved gauge piece I could use to check the shape. I like to remind myself the curve comes from the fact that you are making one side longer than the other by stretching it, so the metal HAS to curve. If you use a thin strip and put it all the way in like you show you are still stretching it but doing it on both sides at the same time. The metal strip gets longer but doesn't curve since both sides stretch the same amount. I find I am always having to think if I shrink/stretch this, with a hammer or the wheel or the other tools, where does the sheet metal need to go? You've obviously been doing it long enough to do this instinctively so it's great you take the time to explain it to us guys consciously trying to learn it. Cool stuff metal!

Thank you. I have used both a little, but do it "manually". I like your connection to be able to be do it with your foot.

Nice demo! I have those same HF shrinker/stretcher tools, but they’re still hand operated. I need to make a stomp pedal, like you have. I love these short tips and tricks videos, that you guys make. 👍

Hey Arco and Heidi, thanks for the new tutorial . There's a reason they say "don't bite off more than you can chew."Real good video for that one! Can't miss seeing that Wilton "Bullet"vice, one of the best vices ever made. There was a 6 inch one for sale local a year ago it sold right away .They last forever ... you treat them right and they be the last one to let you down.
