Thanks to your videos I bent my first metal last week. Spent about 3 hours not getting too much accomplished but using no special tools. Just kept watching what the metal was doing and how it reacted to where I hit it. I did make notes on the metal and it was a big help as I was surprised how easily I would lose my thought process trying to get a compound bend where the floor panel meets the tunnel. It was a great feeling when the piece fit! Thanks for the videos and the explanations!

A co-worker of mine learned under a man and worked with him named Terry Steagall near Nashville Tennessee. He worked back in the day at GM's styling facility. His boss would go get a piece of metal from the materials crib, then go bend it or form it, then take it to Terry and said, put it back to the original shape and dimensions and return it to the materials crib. He has done some sick rods over the years. No better teacher than a little instruction and experience. Avoid the purple fingernails, fragments in your eyes, and lost hearing so wear the PPE.

Brad Focht i would love to see fenders built in real time in a day. It takes me four or five days to build a fender on a good day. Lol. Thanks

Because he doesn't know how to do it. That's the reason why he builds a car from a milion small pieces...

Outlaw Edge I do like your chanel, the way you explain the procedure is very easy to understand and it makes you want to start a project, thanks.

Using brake kleen is not smart! Toxic especially when welding on it!

Totally correct, when the UV light in the electric welding arc hits it, the chemicals turns into mustard gas en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mustard_gas, same stuff that was used in WWI for killing soldiers. With that said, this is one of the best metal working videos i´ve seen in a while, awesome build. Makes me yearn to go back into the garage and pick up on an old project that got stuck in time.

would have been easier to just buy a fender close to what you need and use an english wheel--way to much time, way to many welds

It keeps me busy. And i made it with my two hands. Anyone can buy a fender.
