hi maisy what a stunning clean and beautiful setup, actually what kind of software do you write? mobile front end? and what programming language ? thank you maisy
@@whyimustusemyrealname3801 hi! I’ll touch on these topics more in depth in a future video :) but to answer your question, I work on the frontend of web apps and most recently mobile/tablet apps. I code in React; and recently picking up flutter!

@@lapis722 hey I'm not either one of them but I am a university student in computer science. I took a computer class in high school that really got me into coding where we learned visual basic(which is not what I would reccomend you learn). If your school has it, take a coding or graphic design or any computer class it offers even digital literacy. Any skills you learn can be used on a resume. As for programming languages, I would reccomend you start with html and css. They are markup languages that are very easy to learn in just a couple weeks. There are plenty of skillshare courses and youtube videos or books if you prefer. From there I would reccomend javascript. With these three languages, you can do a lot of things including front end and back end development and javascript might be the fastest growing language for new jobs. Also Js can run on any computer because it doesn't need a compiler, so all you really need is a web browser, but personally i would reccomend either an ide or something like that.
Well at least it's obvious this person worked hard for their stuff. Being a software engineer pays well and I doubt very much that this person would be lying given they were coding for 70% of the video
@@OhMyDroid That's an incredible problematic view. Software engineering is a pretty well paying job in some cases and her business seems to be going well. I think that's just you projecting.
This is the first time i saw an aesthetic and cozy desk set up from a software engineer, most people I’ve watched are using either black, white or grey accessories. I would definitely get inspired and be productive if i have this kind of set up.
I loved this video so much!! I'm also a front end developer working with React and I love this cutesy and plant based aesthetic. I think it's so important that the world starts seeing that developers are not only men coding in the dark in hoodies. It's so powerful to be a feminine woman in code and I'm glad that I'm not alone!
aww thank you so much for watching and I’m so happy you liked it! 🌷💕 haha exactly, we are not all men coding in their basements 😉. front end is an art and we need more creative people like us in the field!
High five to another woman in tech! I also work in software engineering. I am in awe that you do both design and engineering?? That’s amazing! Your setup looks so cozy and cute! Definitely inspired to improve my work setup (my desk is totally cluttered with notebooks, test devices and random other stuff right now T_T).
This greatly justified my splurging on desk accessories and tech these last few months xD But seriously, thanks for sharing your wonderful desk. I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels like it's really important to feel "home" where I work almost everyday for several hours
Yes! Life is too short to not enjoy every moment. Also I placed importance on buying items that bring me a lot of happiness, will last me a lifetime, and good quality. I’m excited for your own desk setup so you make your space cozy 🤍
