As an Italian I feel the urge to tell you this lmao and I'm sure you'll appreciate it.
The word Bruschetta does not carry any "sh" sound in italian, it's actually pronounced like it had a K in it: brusCHetta = brusKetta. Also, the term describes the crispy bread you're supposed to use (in fact it comes from "pane bruscato" which means toasted bread). The most common Bruschetta is indeed made with minced tomato, garlic, basil, salt and olive oil and it is just perfect.

I love the fact that watching an hour vlog of yours feels like I'm catching up with my best friend each week. There's only a few people that I actually enjoy watching anymore on TH-cam, and you are at the top of the list, Allisa. I can totally sympathize with the cats being all over the place. I have a cat that does the same, get into everything, climbs, gallops through the house like a horse haha. My boyfriend and I have a on going joke that she's not just a cat. When you do your RDL’s tuck you chin in slightly and look diagonally down. Look straight forward is prone to a back injury! Just a tip :)
Lasik saved my life ! Got rid of my headaches and was such an easy surgery ! Nice and quick ! And it feels great to wake up and see everything ! Best life changing surgery !

If you do decide to do Lasik one day, they can give you anxiety meds! It'll take less than 10 minutes as well! I did it back in 2019 and would do it 100 times over.

Getting lasik was the best decision I could have ever made! They can give you anxiety meds and it is the quickest process and healing was no big deal either! I had zero pain before during and after. I was back to work the next morning!

Allisa-get lasik done asap. There’s 2 different types of lasik, you’ll have to see which one you qualify for. Make sure to go to a really well known ophthalmologist. Best thing I ever did for myself was getting lasik. It’s not as bad as people make it seem. It’s a 7 minute procedure on each eye. The prep time takes longer than the procedure. You’ll get several different drops to take a few days before your procedure and then some drops for a few weeks afterwards. My ophthalmologist said too use theratears and everyday after the procedure because they’re like water for your eyes.

I got lasik and it’s not as bad as it seems. The procedure takes 10 mins tops and you don’t have to keep your eyes open by yourself. There is a machine that keeps your eyes open. It scary thinking about it because it’s your eyes but the procedure is really easy.
I never had surgery until I got Lasik. I was very nervous for it but it was the best decision I ever made. I regret not doing it sooner. Highly recommend!
I did Lasik and it was the best decision I ever made. I see better than anyone that is regular. I would say go for it girl. This year in August would be two years since surgery.

Allisa, the closet room is coming along beautifully. The desk is so cute and I can see your dilemma with how far the mirror is for you. Try the portable mirror to see if that works but I bet once your Dad installed the desk lights, you are able to see better. One call out if i may or if you haven't thought about it already. Your desk is up against the base bottoms. Your makeup will melt when the heat is on. Something to consider. I love all of the birthday goodies and plans for your MIL. Sorry I do not like that corner vanity they have ones that are much nicer and you should get a chair that is smaller I feel like that chair is to big for that space
I got lasik a year and half ago and it was by far the best thing I’ve ever done!!! They gave me a Valium right before the procedure so I was so chill going into it lol it was easy and fast. I highly recommend you do it!

I would get a mini stand up mirror that is one of those circular ones, and has two sides to it, one is normal and when you flip the mirror to the other side its zoomed in! And its a good size to put on the side of the vanity so itll be easy to grab whenever! ❤️
I got lasik in 2015. It was the best thing I’ve ever done. They give you some anxiety meds, and once the surgery actually starts you can’t see anything. So even though your eyes are open, it feels more comforting not being able to see. It’s definitely a weird experience, but so so worth it.

Hi, Alissa! First, I love your content, so obvious how hard you work and that you are doing something you are absolutely passionate about! I began watching your channel with the basement apartment renovations and kept up ever since. I love your new closet and my first ever comment to you pertains to the vanity. Don't like it, doesn't seem up to your standards...so here is an idea to create your own custom vanity. Find a couple of small tall dresser (with drawers) type units, these would become the ends of the vanity and partially support the countertop. Visit the marble store (perhaps where you found the kitchen counters) and look at left over marble pieces, these stores usually have them. Have them cut your choice into the appropriate shape, depth for your vanity top. Ask DYI dad to cut the wood supports that are affixed to the bedroom wall the vanity top will sit on, the top should cover the dresser unit tops. Purchase your own additional mirrors if you want them. This will fill the corner with your custom vanity. Just some thoughts.....love you!

I have a vanity with a mirror. I too have terrible eye sight. I do have a small mirror that I use, which I put on my vanity table. I use that for my make-up. So, you can use your small mirror. It will still look cute on your vanity.
I had Lasik done a year and a half ago and it was the best decision ever!! It definitely sounds worse than what it was. They did give me medicine to calm me down the night before and morning of so that definitely helped but it was extremely fast and painless.
You should get a cute wicker basket to put under your podcast table in the office to hide the wires🙃
Hi, enjoyed watching this vlog, Alisa you can give a curve cut to your dressing table so that you can slide your chair near the mirror. Ofcourse there will be less space to keep on top but enough for essential ones. Give it a deep U...and save space on sides. Just slide the chair inside...👍

LASIK is worth it. I was scared too because of the unknowns. It was sooo easy, best thing ever!!! It was only a few seconds per eye! Just bring some dark sunglasses even though they will probably give you some!

She ordered this mirror off Amazon. It’s a round one with lights, I believe it’s magnifying. It attaches to her regular mirror. She can move it closer to her face for more detailed work. Idk if you would be interested in something like that. I just thought may be an option. I absolutely LOVE how your dream closet has turned out so far 😍😍

definitely keep the little mirror you had. I’m also blind 😂 and i use my close up mirror for most stuff then the big one on my wall in front of me for hair and seeing how the makeup is overall

Take off the stopper of the concealer n it will come out more and actually get every little drop in it lol..thats what i do when its running out n still get alot of product out of it..
def use the smaller mirror.. I feel like forcing yourself to use the mirror on the vanity for make up will end up in make up that isn’t properly blended 🙈 I’d use the vanity mirror just for doing hair!

I had eye surgery but it's cuz I have cataracts in both of my eyes they put a lens with a prescription in my eye so I don't have to wear glasses anymore just have to wear reading glasses and it wasn't that bad I was awake it didn't hurt you be good and I could see now from my right eye I just need to have surgery on my left eye but I could see good
