Yep, i dont really know this channel but where the heck is he really from and don't they have some kind of basic medical training to do the basic first aid care stuff?
In germany you have to get your eyes checked and visit a training that tells you exactly what to do when you arrive at an accident, like to secure yourself and then check other people for their vital signs

You do a similar thing in the UK via your driving theory test. Most people learn it just to pass the test however, so don't really know what to do in most of the situations... It's not mandatory to have the thermal blanket, warning triangle or highvis jacket here so most manufacturers don't include it (which means most people don't know about them).

6:08 that's a space blanket, and you're right, its used to reduce the heat loss in a person's body.
The other plug isn't a Europe specific one, it is a higher amperage, IP rated connection. Not found in households but very common in industrial applications.

The blanket is used for emergency situations. It is used to prevent hypothermia and to keep a casualty warm. It traps heat inside meaning a person can be warm and not go into shock or hypothermia.

The 'gold' thing is called a thermal blanket, so if you get into an accident or you fall in freezing cold water you would use the thermal blanket as a form of heat. If you have ever put tinfoil around yourself and your body heats up quickly and you begin to sweat, its basically the same concept except its for emergencies as its compact and easily transportable. Hope this cleared it up for you 👍

That’s an emergency blanket, they are mainly used when you are cold in the wilderness and if you don’t have any thing else to put on to keep you warm

You have to have them in your car in the UK to. Surprised he didn't know what the triangle was as you're required to know about it to get your driving licence.
The 3 point pin plug that’s blue is an industrial plug socket I believe, not the ones they use in the EU. I think they’re waterproof and allow for a slightly higher amps.

The blue plug is a commercial style plug, you can have them at home but usually more commercial, it gives you more amps than a standard plug 👍🏻
That’s a 16a 240v blue plug.There’s loads of them in the UK just not generally in residential premises. I’d use that one at work ;-)
Jack if you see this, the foil thingie is a Space Blanket. It's made from the same material as chips bags. It can be used as a blanked or improvise shelter.

The „Gold“ is a warming cover. It is physiks. Your body is radiating warmth.
The gold/silber foil is reflecting all the warmth back, so you dont hypothermia.
Its keeping you warm so that your body doesn‘t has this immense struggle.

The foil thing is an emergency thermal blanket. The shiny side reflects the sun helping you to keep cool if you’re stranded in the desert. The gold side helps insulate your body and absorb some heat keeping you warm. It is kinda similar to a normal blanket but is not practical for “day to day use”
The gold and silver piece of plastic is an emergency blanket. if you are stuck on the side of the road in the middle of the night with no heat that can save your life. They keep u unbelievably warm for being plastic

That foil you use when someone is cold or in shock (like after an accident). It refelcts the heat.

The three prong thing that you said was for France is what you use at a camp site to charge your battery up in your caravan so presuming it’s giving you the option to keep your car charged whilst your camping/ in a caravan

Hi Jack, just saying that 3-prong cable is for a connection at a campsite or similar, that you would connect to a caravan or campervan at a campsite, meaning these can be used as chargers also. I believe them to be faster than a normal 3-prong plug. Thanks for the awesome videos :)

The gold thing at 6:10 is a thermal blanket or space blanket it’s from when your in an accident or you have been rescued and are cold it keeps in heat and keeps you warm

As I'm sure you recall from your driving test, the triangle is to be placed significantly upstream of the car if you break down or stop. Especially important on unlit roads to warn oncoming traffic
2:27 That is a high power 1 phase connector, It is used in industrial areas / high power use cases. It is almost the same as the regular one, just beefier.
It is available all around the EU.
its not really 'high power' its the same number of volts just a few more amps and its an IP rated connector :p
