I bought the Carbon Cub about 2 yrs ago with the intention of getting back into RC. Things been in the box in my cellar since. Got to find the time to try it out

Super video. I enjoyed it as well as just subscribed to your site. I am in the process of buying this cub, the one you have in the video, now. I am awaiting a return email from Horizon on chargers. I think I found an ac/dc charger as I want one I can charge from my car at the field as well as a wall outlet. On the video you set the home point for the cub in the beginning. Do you have the GPS in it? Now, that is an option but I am going to get it since I am new and it will be less expensive rather than having to buy a lot of new parts based on being a newbie. Videos, online, claim it was included and installed on this cub on prior years. Thanks again, Rich
Hi. Yeah a great starter plane. The gps takes over when you go outside it’s zone about 250m and circles then you regain control.
I no longer use these as since have flown a wide variety of planes as you’ll see in other videos. Best of luck

No glue but I use canopy glue if needed 😜👍🏾
You have the gift, it's not common that nice skill at first fly. Sorry for your plane, maybe with a fishing line trow to the tree branch let the plane down, but watch the electric lines. Congratulations.

Great video, I did learn a lot from it. It is fantastic to have somebody giving you a hand on your maiden flight specially when it is time to land. The plane looks great I will surely have it under my radar once I get more experienced. By the way, have you upgraded your remote since the video, to which one? Thanks for the video again.
Yeah was helpful. Now have the Spektrum DX6. Much better 👍🏾😀
@@WigganRC if you download the spectrum dxe programmer you can input settings for different planes like the dx8 and save them on your computer. Download the settings from the internet, plug in the tx to the computer load the settings to the tx. Just don't upgrade the dxe programmer or it won't work on the computer any more, just a cellphone and it has to many problems that haven't been fixed.

1\2 A is delightful. Low and slow and keep it in close, closer, slower and learn the lower speed envelope and Ballance those flaps so they are equal drop.

Why no flaps?
Was my second plane so wasn't worried about it on that model. Since this video I now have a P51, A10, P47, T28 and Tundra all with flaps :) Thanks for stopping by, Don't forget to subscribe.

@@WigganRC my plane of choice at the mo is the carbon cup s+ from horizon hobby. So very stable, I have a powered glider too which I got first and bitten hard by the rc plane bug. I've got mostly 2 stroke petrol rc cars but at 35 I decided I fancied a change and not looked back since lol 👍

I bought one but had allready a fly-away so I don't trust the gps thing anymore.
Mine worked flawlessly. It just forgot to avoid the trees 😂

Last time I flew mine was with an instructer and also he had a fly away with it so I don't know what to do now.

Lol yeah was getting too confident and went too low. All good and finally got it back 5 days later after it blew down lol 😂
