    It was great to hear the Vet Nurse state what was done incorrectly in regards to the cat found in a box and brought into them in a carrier, and how they would resolve the problem. Good job!

    Animals respond so well to holistic medicine because they have no expectations or prejudices.. our ability to psych ourselves into and out of things is often to our detriment.

    Dr. McKim is so caring. I had no idea you could give acupuncture treatments to a cat. And the results were amazing. Little Marmy was lucky to end up there.

      Acupuncture is amazingly effective on animals, especially cats, dogs, and horses. Oddly though, there's only a 50% chance of it working for humans. But worth a try no matter what.

    Hey, Guys I have a question. If y'all don't mind. For all pet lover & owners what makes you shop at a pet store or what makes you choose over another one.?
    I'm starting my own brand and have a long-term vision im just having trouble getting my hands into inventory and gaining people's trust. Especially when they compare my business to Amazon and chewy.

    I'd like to see them prove their claim that it was the acupuncture. Doing nothing and letting time pass would've given the same result.

    That fight with the cats was so easily avoidable. Two stranger cats should not come into contact like that, especially if one potentially injured/sick. I don't get how they let the black and white cat walk right up to the carrier! It should've been in another room, or a cage at least!
    I'm slightly shocked at their ineptitude!

    Sry, but that collie on tv was complitely stressed out, he should not have been there. The little kitty probably had a compressed spine because of swelling after the injury. Not saying those needles don't work, but there is more to it than just that. And an intake of an unknown, stressed cat, with other cats around? Whose BS idea was that?

    • @GotAnUmbrella
      @GotAnUmbrella 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Collies are naturally anxious as it is. But they chose the dog probably because it's clearly Purebred and likely to get offers from people seeing it on tv. The tv spot was even mentioned by the adopter.
      Allowing cats to run around freely like that in intake is So irresponsible.

    Chopper is kind of aging dog that I go to, re-school to be service dog for me. I look for large older dogs. They get no attention from owners after the first few years, then the honeym is over. Humans have short attention spans. Uuh

    It is expensive to put a microchip in then

    One reason I. An think,that ppl leave pets at the door with no info?! I know are animal shelter charges $30+ for a cat and up for you to drop off a pet either yours or not. If you really,really cared,quit charging & just ask for Any amount they can give to help. I dropped off a cat for me Mom and they treated me like it was mine and I was just abandoning it. Scanned Microchip it was my Moms,she was moving and in with my OCD sister. No animals. Cat sprayed everywhere too. Anyway,they call my Mom & if they didn’t except her answer she’d have had to pay $29 at the time. From and elderly person who knew this would penalty happen,had no money,her husband just left. The only source of income for the household too. Quit charging is all I’m saying.

    • @GotAnUmbrella
      @GotAnUmbrella 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Quit charging and then have the shelter collapse from the cost of caring for animals because shelters are non profit organizations that don't get money from the government? Sounds perfect to me!

    • @rickyn1135

      @@GotAnUmbrella The get donations & ours is run by the county and they charge for Adoptions. I’m referring to ppl whom already can’t afford to pay for food and care that’s why they’er surrendering them. Everyone can do better. I adores my pets,I’d starve before I’d let my pets. I also notice the pets are almost dead from no food.but why no water and why are 75% of these ppl,from what I can see Fat??? There’s some deep Psychological issues going on with these animal abusers.

    • @GotAnUmbrella
      @GotAnUmbrella 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rickyn1135 you realize adoptions cover cost of spay/neuter, vaccination, and microchips, initial vet exam, and behavior assessment right?
      And county run shelters are still nonprofit and don't receive government funding and typically are required to take in all animals even if there isn't any space.

    • @rickyn1135
      @rickyn1135 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes,of course. If ppl are having sudden financial troubles suddenly paying bills & have to make a heart breaking decision to do the responsible thing and take to a shelter or SPCA instead of just abandoning them,it makes sense to me to ask whatever you can afford,but $29 is a starting point but will gladly accept them no matter what. That’s if you really really care.

    • @rickyn1135
      @rickyn1135 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GotAnUmbrella Yes. Adoptions I’m referring to ppl who surrender or find lost pets. My animal shelter charges,was $29 for a cat & I think $65 for a dog. These are animals I’ve found abandoned on the streets or around north y home.
