@@dawsonhiemstra510 ...It really isn't overrated though. True, it's not nearly as good as Cannon Ball or X3 Hunter Base, or even Awakening Will, but it's still decent.
Not gonna lie: when I started the video, I was wondering when the cover would start... because your work is how my wee child brain interpreted the NES' bleeps and bloops back in the day! Amazing job!
To elaborate on that idea, the giu who originally wrote all these tracks, Takashi Tateishi , composed all these track while using instruments that would be about the same as what this sounds like and then had to nerf it down to what the sound chip for the NES was actually capable of doing. In other words, it was the original intention of the original composer for these tracks to sound just like this.
this sounds fucking amazing, dude. Heat Man's theme absolutely tears it up. The ostinato in Crash comes forth so powerfully. And Flash's beat is powerful... you can really feel it breathe, like it's filling the whole room. Just awesome.
Well Mega Man's actual name is "Rock" (Dr Light doesn't treat him as a machine, but as his own son, so he gave him the name Rock. (Hence the running theme of Rock and Roll) Also, the whole Rock and Roll thing (along with Bass and Protoman having musically inspired names in Japan: Forte and Blues) was kind of a running gag from series creator Keiji Inafune. (The reason he finally settled on Rockman was because, believe it or not, he's a huge fan of American rock music.
Honestly, my favorite part about this whole thing is how Megaman will occasionally shoot or jump in time with the music (does this on Air Man's stage with Metal Blades in time with the rhythm.)
I always do Quick Man first. I do every stage in the same order that this video uses -- which astounds me as I thought that I was the only person who went through the stages in the correct order.
Good lord, I was laughing so hard, I couldn't breathe after hearing those wily spaceship sounds along with the evil laughing. :P Anyways, amazing job on covering this game's soundtrack. I've been watching your Guitar Playthroughs ever since your old Mega Man 1 video, and I appreciate the hard work you put into these covers.
The intro and outro are so layered and high-fi with standard scooped metal tone in the bed tracks with the synth mixed in I honestly cried. You're doing a fantastic job!
Such a great compilation. For me 7:58 (Bubble man) is my favorite track of all Mega man games and it's done so well here! Side note: Wood man is a close second and seriously bad ass too! 15:00
I bought all these songs in an album and hack them into the Megaman anniversary collection for game cube, now when ever I play 1-8, I'll be able to listen to all these amazing remixes!!
I can't say enough about how amazing this is. My personal favorite soundtrack from this game has always been Bubble Man, and my God, did you shred that. The arpeggios are absolutely brilliant.
Hello from Christmas 2021. It’s been a bit since I watched. So I came back to relive some…happier…memories of this not so good year. Merry Christmas all, and have a safe and happy holiday.
Jesus Christ, you are AWESOME!! I feel so bad for just having discovered your channel now. I am binge-ing everything! Amazing work. Your Bubbleman rendition brings tears to my eyes..
Everything about this is perfect. Especially Wily's ship's sounds of obvious distress... sounds very unhappy... hahaha! Also the beginning of Bubble Man's Stage was beautiful... I mean obviously they all are but that one struck me especially. Excellent job! I'm slowly working my way through all your Megaman videos and I'm loving every second of them!
Loved the “Most” whatever Mega Man tune part. For me that was amazing and I enjoyed playing this game a lot. Thank you for the gameplay as the songs went by. I enjoyed this a lot. (:
I’ve always wanted to do this I’ve been a huge fan of the sound track but thought it needed a little more metal behind it. Well now I don’t have to you have a done a flawless job in my opinion. I’ve heard bit brigades version, though it’s nice it’s not nearly as rockin. I keep coming back to it and listening, just excellent man great job!
I loved that little bit about Wily Stage 1 being overrated. You kicked ass on it, it's a good song, but I love Wily 3 and 4 on MegaMan 3 more. It has more of a destiny tone to it and you kicked ass on that one too. This is awesome stuff. I'm subbing.
Awesome job. I see that you feel that the Wily Stage 1-2 music is a bit overplayed, so thank you for putting up with it. (My favorite fortress music in the classic series is Cossack Stage 3-4, but I don't mind this theme.)
You are amazing, I always loved the one that bit brigade did, but now this is my favorite, My only suggestion at gaming, when you figh against airman, you can use buster while you cannot reach the enemy through the other weapon.
i loved listening to the whole thing, it brought back such nostalgia from playing the game, and i have to ask who did the gaming, i recognize that the player took damage at certain spots, now im not saying that the player should have dodged it, i just recognize that the times they did take damage is usually the same place a long time mm gamer who has the muscles memory who has played mm a lot, but hasn't played in a long time. finally the player did a great job.
8:09 el tema de Bubbleman me parece triste y serio a la vez de este modo ... de hecho es el escenario acuatico lo que transmite eso La versión de Heatman ,Woodman y el sentimiento en la parte final del tema de Airman son lo mejor de este cover :)
I’ve been playing this game since it was new and I just noticed the little ball thing dr Wiley is trying to control after u beat him is following the same path the alien Wiley was following. So u were fighting some kind of hologram making it seem like he was a gross alien thing. That’s my take on it
I never played 2, 6 was my favorite. But it is borderline ridiculous how much SP ammo you get in this game. They seem way OP compared to the later games
Probably because Quick Man is a pain in the ass and should be dealt with ASAP. (HE IS RIDICULOUSLY HARD IN EVERY MEGAMAN GAME HE'S IN, FROM MM2 TO BATTLE NETWORK 2. QuickMan.exe was even worse than normal Quick Man in my opinion.
And way to get every melody note and harmony spot on. Hpe you're making enough money with hi-fi layered tracks like these. The mega man x stage select scooped power chords are sweet haha.
"What kind of madman does Quickman first?!?" he shouted suddenly, confusing his two toddlers, the generation gap visibly widening.
Quickman is always last!
Seriously underrated comment -- I cracked up when I read this! THANK YOU 🤘😁
I am a mad lad as well, for you see, I always go for Ice Man first in Mega Man 1.
lol funny i always did quickman first as well
strangely, i suggest starting with Quick Man first coz if you did him last and the lasers rekts you, byebye all E you got on previous stages
28:42 the best part. An accurate representation of Dr.Wily.
Me too🥰😍
I NEVER LAUGHED SO HARD LOL
5:15 Dang- There is more drills in Metalman's stage than there are in Drillman's stage.
Black Magician yeah
Those drill worms are creepy as hell, too.
@Black Magician yup
I must know the origin, idea and nature of the Wily Capsule sounds! They are simply too hilarious!
PSHO PSHO PSHO PSHO PSHO PSHO PSHO PSHO
He did that in the first one.
I think they are funny too
I love the Dr. Wily Stage 1 buildup. I imagine SOMEBODY got angry at that
It was you!
It's so funny because he's making fun of the most overrated song in the franchise

Yeah, thanks, that was on purpose
And btw, you did a nice job reminding me to listen to this playthrough agian :D
28:42 The best sound effect ever.
Dr.Willy's eyebrows never get old.

Well Mega Man's actual name is "Rock" (Dr Light doesn't treat him as a machine, but as his own son, so he gave him the name Rock. (Hence the running theme of Rock and Roll)
Also, the whole Rock and Roll thing (along with Bass and Protoman having musically inspired names in Japan: Forte and Blues) was kind of a running gag from series creator Keiji Inafune. (The reason he finally settled on Rockman was because, believe it or not, he's a huge fan of American rock music.
I also believe these tracks were originally composed on an electric guitar.
Honestly, my favorite part about this whole thing is how Megaman will occasionally shoot or jump in time with the music (does this on Air Man's stage with Metal Blades in time with the rhythm.)
I'm more amazed by the player beating Quick Man first in the video than the actual great guitar playing! I didn't even think this was possible!
You're technically supposed to do either Quick Man or Metal Man first. But since Quick Man's stage is so frustrating, most people do Metal Man first.
I always do Quick Man first. I do every stage in the same order that this video uses -- which astounds me as I thought that I was the only person who went through the stages in the correct order.
Why this game has not been re-released with this soundtrack is so depressing. The original music was epic, but this is fucking GOLD
The closest we got to them revamping some of the classic tracks was Mega Man Z/X Legacy Collection. The renewal of Departure was amazing.
Your take on the Bubbleman and Heatman themes are real bangers! My favorite version of both songs, hands down!
Bubble man is prolly my favorite, but this is the best soundtrack for a game ever

This is, I'm fairly certain, exactly the way the original composers heard it in their head. Perfection!!
It would be nice to have a custom PC version of Mega Man 2 with your soundtrack.
