    How about them Habs? 🏒🚨 I've got so much to talk about, I don't know where to begin, but I think a good spot might be Jake Evans. 🔥🙌
    Let me know if you want any changes! 😊

      I think we should talk about Dach and his crazy comeback, he plays so well and played a major role in the last goal vs Vancouver and I see no one talking about it!

    Really loved this video! You bring such a good vibe, and it’s clear you put a lot of effort into this. Keep up the great work!. With Jake Evans stepping up his game this season, it’s fair to think he could land a long-term deal around $4M to $4.5M AAV. His production and impact keep climbing, and that kind of value would reflect how much he’s grown as a player. Love him on this team, really hope he stays with a fair contract for him.

    When I saw that Scheifle hit, I thought Evan's career might be over. At that time a guy I used to work with was like "that hit wasn't so bad, refs giving Montreal the series!" I stopped talking to the guy. A few months later he got fired, good riddance.

    Great video! Been following Jake Evans since the minors, and was hyped to see him make the jump to the Habs. He's at his best now...we have to keep him, we developed him into a great player, for once!

    It's crazy cool to always have a positive space with your channel, most of the online fanbase of the habs are always negative over negative, it gets annoying, especially with how good the team is playing recently, keep up the good work my man!

    Jake has always been an effective 4h liner defensively. The surprise has been the offense this contract year. If Jake would had this season 3 years ago I would have said sign him... then , but I think he will demand too long of a term. The Habs traded a younger Lehkonen (Right Or Wrong). I am thinking about Beck and Demidov in the pipeline, that makes keeping him tough.

    How about for January and February. Once a week, you do a video on a third or fourth line player. Cover contracts, what they bring, and how you would replace that player if, for whatever reason, they left the Habs. 😊❤❤❤😊

    I very much agree with you're assesment of Jake Evans. We need to get him signed to I would say a 5yr, 4.4 Million contract. He's a proven quality with the Habs in recent years, hopefully once signed, he won't drop off in play as most players seem to do after signing.

    Thanks for that video about one of my favorite player on the Habs. I know people are going to say that I’m nuts but he is very important for the team going forward. I see him developing into the next Gainey or Carbo. And they were key to some of our cups. I really hope we can sign him. Cups are won on offence (Caufield, Laine, etc.) but also on defensive minded play (Evans, Zuke, etc.). Ask my son, I’ve hyped Evans for a long time. He will be one of the keys.

  • @RaffixOW
    @RaffixOW 15 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

    WE HAVE TO SIGN HIM. I wish I could write in ALL-CAPS, bold and 16 pts font.
    1) Jake Evans has been paid 1.7$/year for the last 3 years, such a bargain for what he brings.
    2) He's a specialist and plays his role perfectly, not many of those in the league.
    3) He has been scoring like a sharp shooter all while captaining the 4th line.
    4) Emil Heineman is developping well on his line too.
    5) We should sign him before the season ends, If we wait until after the draft, he will get offer sheeted for sure.
    4M$/year for 5 years (20 million $) sounds like a bargain for me.
    Oups, I won't edit this, but it seems Evans does not qualify for offer sheet because he is above 27 y.o.
    None-the-less, we have no one who can do what he does, we HAVE to resign him.

    It's interesting you should use the term "suspicious" given he's up for a new contract, because I feel, looking at the BIG picture, JE had been largely MIA throughout his career with the Habs (injuries included). I'm happy he's doing well, but if he wants to stay with the Habs he should factor in a "home" discount offer.

    Happy birthday buddy! I agree, sign him now, Beck is coming up, looks like he will be a similar type player, but strong two way players like this take a little time to mature. I think this is a great problem to have, if in two years you have two of the same player... Make a move then.

  • @austyn307
    @austyn307 15 วันที่ผ่านมา

    4M x 6 years would be a good deal for both parties I think. He secures over 20M for his family, stays in Montreal for a long time and its not a cap hit that would cripple the habs. I hope this is the deal we sign him to. I could even see 3.5M, because he is peaking this year and is not likely to maintain this pace for the next 6 years.

    I hope 🙏 the Habs organization is able to offer a fair deal for Jake to remain with the Habs, especially in this rebuilding phase. They are cooking! Jake and his line mates are on fire 🔥! Hate to see the Habs possibly take two steps back, one step forward, lose the chemistry there and the overall ripple effect if a new "comparable" is introduced. Makes this fan nervous to tempt the hands of fate. Jake's like a veteran influence, so to speak, and I think he's proven he's a valuable player to keep.

    Love Evans as a player, I see him as a poor man's Danault ( that's actually a compliment). Just a bit worried about his health. I feel this year is the first one where he bounced back from the Scheifferle hit. Sign him but keep Gallagher in the back of your mind.

    Would be cool if his related to the great Bill Evans.. Don’t know if he have kids going to school here, it may a factor. I’m comfortable offering a 4, 4.5M 5 years deal personally..

    Guys you have to sign Evans what does it say to the rest of the players your drafted by the Habs and play hard every night and make your way up to being one of the most valuable players on the team and you trade him or not offer him a good contest to stay in Montreal just look who's on the ice the last minute of the game when winning Evans and Armia you need to sign the two of them

  • @oldhab7890
    @oldhab7890 15 วันที่ผ่านมา

    Evans at 5 for 4 is okay as long as it does not come with a MNC. There is no guarantee that Beck will be another Evans. We need this type of player to be a serious Cup contender. If Evans slips next year or Beck develops the way the Canadiens hope then Evans can be moved without the Canadiens retaining much, if any, contract.
    Just wondering if having an injury free year last year and playing all the games this year is revealing the "real" Evans.
    A 5 month old is beginning to be a handful.

    If he signs for 5 years at 3 million per. I'm cool with that. We have to keep in mind Hutson will likely want very big money on his next deal , which may come as soon as next year

    • @RaffixOW
      @RaffixOW 15 วันที่ผ่านมา

      We don't have to worry about that until the 2026-2027 season, he is still on his first year of ELC.
      Slaf is still on his last year oh his Entry-Level Contract, his big contract only kicks in next year.

  • @MorganBurton
    @MorganBurton 15 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

    Habs fans are WAY too big on Evans. He's no Philip Danault.
    Overspending on a 3/4C makes no sense right now, we have about 10 kids coming very soon who need jobs.
    EVERY UFA always says they want to stay with their current team. Oldest cliché in free agency.
    Jake will want 4-6 years, let someone else overpay him.

  • @zeeshawnali4078

    They should try and sign him to a 4 year deal. If he doesn't agree then we're gonna have to let go of him and use that return for a needed asset.

    Trade Evans, I like him but anything more than 2 seasons is a no for me and he will get more than a 2-year contract. Start youth next season and use the cap hit saved to fill the biggest hole (Carrier type-deal) a month or two in on a player with no more than 1 or 2 seasons left. Don't over-extend or over-pay for 4th line + specialist at this point of the rebuild.

    Evans has had a lot of commotions
