Self employed welder fabricator. Bought her for the weekend travel. Absolutely amazing car. Do the labor yourself. I did. Save thousands, it's really not hard folks.
As a🤭 Honda guy, i like it,its S Class Mercedes, which Daimler cant make, and about reluability which Daimler cant build, there are thousand of stories. Vehicle full electronic which workd..... Dream on.
Definitely not buying this car for 0-60 times but truue lol. The Thing weighs like 2 tons. It's about the quality engineering and the luxury. At the time, this was the best toyota could offer, in a luxury sedan. Nothing was cheaped out on. A Ford svt supercharger would help, if he's really concerned about 0-60 times. Even then for 15k or so, after the installation, not really worth the hp gains. Still a heavy car.
I have an 08 and as heavy as it is the 4.6 V8 and 8 speed trans it moves faster than most would expect. Especially in Power mode! I'd buy it again. Depends on the number of owners and service history of course. been taken care of
@@smallfists2156 That's good mileage and price not bad. If you good with service records/carfax I'd grab it. Wouldnt hurt to check around just in case, especially Southern States. Get the best kept you can find with lowest milage for best deal!
@@gklove2107 so far this is best deal with lower mileage. Brand new tires/brakes/tinted windows exterior and interior still like new. Only problem is not the color I want. Think it’s the maroon red. Found it locally here in NorCal going for test drive Saturday. Most likely cashing out if everything checks out
manual shifting is how many of these transmissions get messed up. Just use the sweet smooth 8 speed auto, power mode if you wish. just don't bother with the CVT Manual shifting, it is not worth the risk. my opinion.
FACTS💯 But if you do, start in 3rd or 4th gear lol the first few has very short gears. The 8 speed really is setup perfect without manual mode though. It an LS not a GS lol
Me also, a 2011 460L, black outside and inside. 105,000. It did need all new control arms but I read about that so I wasn't surprised. I absolutely love this car. I hope to have it from many many years.
Obviously you’ve got clean taste. I was impressed with the video for the whole first 12 minutes bc you didn’t need to fill the frame with constant babble and commentary.. silence is underrated. And then you showed the response time by the hand gesture. Nice video sir. Too much delay on the shift tho- cmon Lexus my only complaint 😅
I hate idiot drivers like this. You realize you can get over into right turning lane before turning right instead of just jumping across a whole lane right?

Dream on? You know it’s real pathetic fool
This is my car :) I love it a lot except the bushings lol

The extra weight of the second person will impact the 0-100 time by around 0.2 seconds

It's not a CVT on this gen.
I've not heard of transmission issues with this car either.
It is, but not on 460, the 600H is using CVT@@CriticalTechReviews
lol that is not true
I have a lexus ls460L 2007. It has 177,000 miles. It is black exterior and black interior with the radio controls in the back seats.
On a freeway, highway run what's the fuel consumption like?

Is it just me or does the steering look a little too weak?
I own a 2012 Ls. It isn't weak. It is actually a pretty heavy turn. Feels nice in the hand.
Not sure what you mean by ‘weak’, but it definitely is numb, like all Toyotas and Lexuses. Not sharp and sensitive like German cars.
Like feminine?
Lexus intentionally goes for the floaty steering if that’s what you mean
