BYU 2012 BYU 2022 Oklahoma State 2021 Those are all up there for me in terms of top 5 environments at the stadium. That WSU game was the loudest I’ve heard the stadium consistently for four quarters though💯
I’d say the game day experience now is such that even if someone isn’t a huge football fan, they’d still have fun. I don’t think that was always the case
Great show, guys. Came down from Spokane to see the game. On the plane there were a lot of coug fans and one said to me: "Feeling outnumbered?" I laughed while rolling my eyes, and thought...not for long, with a Joker-from-batman laugh. It was an awesome experience for sure. I agree with you guys on Maddog. He was missing easy throws to the outside, and it makes me feel nervous if our run game for some reason isn't doing well. I think they should use his legs and get him running more. There's risk, but he's a threat that way. Anyway, love your podcast.
My HS prom was in the sky center in 2009. Breezy didn't look 100%. He wasn't cutting at all like he used to. I'm OK with the defense giving up the occasional big play when we rush 5+ every play. It's going to happen. Basically everyone got a sack, which means the defense was all around solid. Maddox consistently throws behind his receivers. Not sure who is to blame for it. But I'm glad he's staying healthy and playing the games clean.
Great show as always. a couple of my takeaways from the game. 1. Seems to me on the drive after Madsen threw the INT that Koetter made Mad Dog throw a huge portion. Maybe to get his confidence back? 2. Is Dalmas in danger of not getting the NCAA record for FGs because we are finding the end zone more this year? and 3. Hassanien is a beast (but we all knew that) and the D-line was dominant. Keep up the good work with the podcast (from an older demographic guy)!!!
You guys are 100% right about the QB play. But are they waiting for an team * cough* UNLV, Oregon St *cough* plans on stopping Jeanty. UCLA did it in the bowl game and we lost cause of lack of QB play. What is Dirk afraid of playing Malachi? I thought he looked really good when and got better when the game went on..just my 2 cents
Improving. Would love to see the pass game improve because you have to think anyone we play in a playoff will have a better plan to combat Jeanty. Defense is improving
I was at the OSU game in 2021 and it was buzzing then. Of course, there have been upgrades to the stadium, but how did this weekend compare, in person, to the Wazzu game?
We need a crowd funding( I know this is a pipe dream fully aware) to get Boise State fans to come together and raise jeanty a couple million and retain him and sell him on the fact we play notre dame next year. I am dead serious saying this, if we end up being a cfp team this year I honestly think we would win it all the following year if we simply shore up DB's thats it.
How about Nevada on the blue. I think it was 2010 maybe 2009. Kaepernik was the QB and it was the last big game of the year. I thought I remember that crowd being pretty loud and crazy.
Feels like the powers that be are hiding BSU games a little on late time starts and FS1 or 2. Wonder if it has to do with suppressing jeanty heisman talk. Not very many are talking about his 10 yd per carry average or crazy highlights. People need to see him play, it’s really unbelievable how he scores after breaking tackle after tackle. Totally biased but he’s the most exciting player since Reggie Bush.
I’ve had a similar thought…. I wouldn’t put anything past the TV execs to artificially lower their perceived value going in to negotiations for the new P12. Well yeah, raring will suck if you keep sticking them on FS1 and FS2…. Pretty lame
damn you guys are so much more mature in your content than the idiotic drunkards they are putting on that other channel (rhymes with dj pains) haha. They are a cold mess, so up your game a little more and you may just find that niche cfb viewers in Boise are looking for

The “FreeBird” video was awesome,
I love that Jeanty is a great example to my kids
This episode made me more interested in going to a game.
I’d say the game day experience now is such that even if someone isn’t a huge football fan, they’d still have fun. I don’t think that was always the case
Maybe some boy band hits in the stadium?

Madsen's completion percentage for the year is two completions short of 60%, 7 TDs, 2 sacks. TG 10 is 54%, 5 TDs, 5 Ints, and 12 sacks.
That is wild comparison. Good info!
Forgot; Madsen, only 2 INTs.
We always knew TG10 is dogshit. The question is how good Milquetoast Madsen is

Yeah. He’s def doing some good things out there and not taking sacks or big negative plays he’s doing very well
Wow that intro made me feel like I was walking into Hollister at the Boise Town Square Mall in 2005 😂😂
😂
Aaawwwww yeah!
Exactly. Or a Sears or K-Mart commercial.
That was our biggest test of the regular season. If we stay healthy, and continue to make improvements, we can do it!
I liked the episode tldr; nice
Nice intro.

Thanks! And great observations

Punishment should be something like you have to walk around the tailgate with a sign around your neck with some kind of saying.

Do you think this team could be a playoff team now? I feel so much better about the D now

Crowd noise similar. But the added enhancements have made the experience that much better

Post a Venmo qr every time he scores?
After this year, it’s time for him to go to the NFL. No question
I have a feeling we will be seeing WSU again this year. They have an easier schedule the rest of the season than the Broncos do imo.
How would we see them? They aren’t in the MWC championship
@@LookUp1991 You are correct, i guess that feeling is gone lol
How about Nevada on the blue. I think it was 2010 maybe 2009. Kaepernik was the QB and it was the last big game of the year. I thought I remember that crowd being pretty loud and crazy.
Good one! We missed that one

Okay, new idea for the punishment: Burpees. Or, nasty food.
Both good ideas!
WSU can't compete in the MWC championship. And i don't think we'll see them in the CFP
The cougs only get in as an at-large. And I don't see them ranked top 12, even at 11-1.
