The adoption world has got to become better at communicating with people. All those many years, the brother and the birth mother as well, thought about and dreamed about an eventual reunion with Rosemary, talking about her, writing that beautiful poem about her, wondering what she would be like now................and all that time Rosemary had already been deceased. I don't understand why a birth mother cannot be told something so significant as the death of her child. Although Rosemary had been adopted and had "parents" who mourned her and arranged her funeral, etc., it's not at all fair that the birth mother didn't even know - and died without ever finding out - that Rosemary had died at 11 months. It must have been a horrible shock to the brother to have to find out this information from an intermediary who was helping in the search for Rosemary.
Is there any worse outcome, 11 months 😭😭😭 so deeply sad
Must be so horrible thinking that she was out there and you would hopefully be able to meet her but found out this whole time she wasn't. Especially for his mum hoping she would find her one day but little did she know she wasn't here to :(

My 1/2 siblings knew I existed I never knew they existed until I was 56 because of the lies mu=y horrible mother told me she tortured tormented & caused me because my father wanted ME ut he didn't want her and her other 3 kids...One sister dies and not one of my siblings even said hello but I have a very close relationship with my sister Tammy's son Dakota I ADORE my son he saved me I adore him he found me and in a second I was a full part of his family even the girls call me aunt Kelly the great ..lol Great aunt Kelly but ill take their version I wanted to die as my life was so empty I was lost forgotten he saved me

She did have something to tell him about his half sister, that is why she was relevant.
