- How was HENG TONG 77 Floated AGAIN? - It's a moment of pride for all of us that the grounded vessel Heng Tong 77 has finally floated again and is now berthed at Karachi Port for further proceedings. It took more than 48 days to float her again, the main question is What made this possible? The once near impossible task needed assistance of several anchors, many chains, a winch Barge and Two tugs to float again, There were a total of 3 devised plans to float her again, in today's video i will let you guys know about all of those plans and I will let you guys know in detail about all of them and i will also tell you guys which plan finally worked. Thank Allah that this Cpt. Maulana was not involved in this operation. He had said at the beginning that the Ship would not be refloated/take off. If it had taken part in it, it would not have refloated.

One day before floating I have changed plan which is not known to you.i am capt, Altaf x dc of kpt. Retired on August 34 2021 on 2nd Sept received call from seaman for my services as salvage Master. On 3rd I took small boat and sound area, found 3 shoals 1st on was from mid ship of the ship to towrd chunki mokey with charted depth 0.5 m about 500 meter from ship.2nd shoal was on beam of the ship and 3rd found stud quarte of the ship. On 4th visited tug boats checked draft, cobra ropes single length 1200 m each 3 in numbers. Station barg 900 m from the ship, while passing winch wire to shor barge drifted towards ashore due to load of wire, as the sea bed is sand 4 anchors with 3 shackle did not hold barge position. Once wire retrieved on shore shifted barge with tug bout around 800 meter from ship. For safe side decided to range at least 3 ropes first one taken from barge to seaward 1200 m attached sinker and floats marker let go at sea. 2nd rope 1200 meter from barge to ashore about 800 m and remaining from barge to seaward same attached with sinker and float. I don't want to wast time as the tug can come closed only 2 to 3 hrs before high water time.now the difficulty arises, want to send 3rd rope but the boat capsized. On the want me to pull out but I refused need 3rd rope to be passed 10 am manage to pass rope from shore to barge and kept it on barge.on Sept 7th low water was on 0333 hrs arrived there to checked tackle arrangements. I did not satisfy with the arrangement. 10 ton tanker was buried very close to on fine stud side just 20 meter, called Ayan ship breaker to take it out it was a low water same anchor buried about 70 meter from the previous position. 0900 retrieved all 3 ropes from seabed. 1st one conected with barge to tug.2nd one ship to tug 3rd one ship to fishing boat as emergency tow. 0945 taken weight on all 3 tug boats winch on shore and barge. Ship start moving v.slow. story is long as the vessel was 650 m from a shore the bow stucked on 1st shoal and tug rope parted, around 1130 rope retrieved. 1213 vessel floated. Thanks to mighty Allah

2.Pirates.. specially pirates of Somalia etc. Have you ever been through a situation like this ? I mean face to face with them ? What you did ? How you prevent yourself from them ? As in movie Captain Phillip they only have water jets on their ship. How do pirates able to climb a moving ship with a ladder in such rough tides ??? Kindly explain all the details.
3.Ice breaking ships… how they break ice and how they function. Mostly are they having nuclear powered ?

Captain Sahab. One of your video was suggested by youtube as i watch a lot of shipping law and insurance video as i am preparing for ICS exams. I have one suggestion / request please make more videos which can help students of shipping business. Which includes insurances, documentation, general ship calculations. It might be not for everyone but it will help a lot of people. Most of the videos on the subjects i mentioned are in English. Lets start with parts of ship and general shipping terms. :)
