I think if you do it in a casual way, just out of polite curiosity, and no one else is in the room but them, she shouldn't be embarrassed. I warned my friends that I'm not wearing the exact same dress but an exact copy of the same dress. To me, it's a costume or uniform.
I knew a guy that had multiple shirts and pants that were exactly the same because he hated deciding what to wear so it was like a uniform. Mental thing. Much worse mental things than that at least. No harm to anyone.
