I remember watching this video and singing along to the song while in the ambulance on the way to a mental hospital, about a year ago. I didn’t even attempt to kill myself. But I wrote what sounded like a draft of a suicide note, and my new therapist just shipped me off instead of talking it out with me. Ah, great times.
Well, I say that half sarcastically. I actually was happier at the mental hospital than I have been for most of my life tbh. I didn’t even want to come home. I miss all the friends I made there. This song reminds me of them. I hope they’re all okay.
mental hospital friends are so underrated. bond of a lifetime in two weeks. felt understood by my peers like i had never felt before. obviously, hospitals can be scary, fucked up experiences, and we had some of those too. But never gonna forget that sense of camaraderie
