Another adventures of Ben Cartwright and his sons (Pernell Roberts, Dan Blocker, Michael Landon and Mitch Vogel) as they run and defend their ranch while helping the surrounding community.
Sounds like the Cartwrights were the ultimate jackpot-angelic Michael, sweet Candy, and a bonanza of adventure! The Ponderosa must have been lit with all that star power!
Bonanza is a espectacular film since 1965; teach us very moral and ethic behaviors important for the life. I love this movie. I remembett my childhood .
I agree about Candy - he IS awesome, and he brings life to every scene and frame. It's sad it took so long to find David Canary and incorporate him into the last few years of the series.
I remember one scene (in a different episode) where Candy and Little Joe had to pretend that they didn't know each other. Candy "introduced" himself and Little Joe chuckled and said something like, "Ha ha ha, this guy's name is Candy! Ha ha ha ha! Imagine being a guy named Candy!! Ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!
It gives us some insight as to how things were. But the sad thing is is that there were people, men mostly who would be willing to kill off other good men or whomever to help themselves get ahead. It should never have to be a dog eat dog world. We're all trying to survive. People should come together to try to help one another. But good episode of Bonanza. As always.
Steve played by Hal Lynch lived in the town I in down in Alabama,he wrote an article in the local paper there. He committed suicide in the late 2000s.I drove by there a couple of day’s ago.
1:24 Lol that's the most fake looking fake blood I've ever seen. 7:14 you can clearly see the rider of the horse turning so that he will land on his front, but then it cuts to the cowboy landing on his back. 11:50 there's a substantial delay between the door being kicked and when it opens lol 12:05 a law abiding Cartwright draws his gun on a sheriff 13:09 what is with those eyebrows? 13:25 suddenly she's a doctor 14:20 3 armed lawmen afraid of one injured guy and back down 18:07 a law abiding Cartwright refuses to obey the orders of a sheriff to leave town 40:10 Why would he tie Joe up but not just shoot him? If they found his body they'd know he was murdered, if he was expecting him not to be found then why not shoot him? The sound woulnd'\t be heard from that deep inside. It was never explained why the mine owner wanted to blow up his own mine. Did he have mine insurance?
Thank you for Bonanza shows here.
Miss those days watching bonzana could make you feel better my family loved this show
Joe and Steve finished their beer!
Michael was an Angel & Candy was sweet for the Ladies. Bonanza is a bonus. The Cartwrights were Lights!
On screen 📺 Michael might have been an angel 👼🏽 but not so much in later years in real life.

I enjoy these old Bonanza episodes!! It takes us to a time that would have been very hard to survive in!!
I agree, and any time you have a bad day or are feeling down just watch one of these and realize how good we have it these days.

Always the happy beginning's into another adventure in Bonanza and the Ponderosa and the integrity of the Cartwright's family.

No one in their right mind would walk up behind a "hammer head" horse, nor pick it's hoof up like that...
Candy! Joe said be careful.
I want to forgive you, Joe, we don't hear these amazing releasing words very much any longer, and these words should be spoken daily.
