In the last clip cas COULD just be standing too close BUT why did dean not move away 🤨 complain all you want dean, you dont seem too NOT like it ALSO even try to imagine that scene with sam, like, it could not happennnnnn
I honestly never saw the “tension” everyone else saw, I saw a socially awkward angel who doesn’t know how to interact. And maybe by staring at dean like that he’s trying to get figure him out as dean is a little hard to figure out since he tends to act all macho despite being a softie. granted the macho facade could be to deter anyone thinking he’s gay but I really think that was just the environment he was raised in as all the male characters made the same gay innuendos to each other to piss or throw each other off or as general insults. But yea never saw the subtext. 🤷🏻♀️
I mean, if you want to see the subtext you could think about how a show would portray that somebody likes someone else without outright saying it. like how they would place the camera or movie tropes or paralleling couples and stuff like that.
@@lelegold4178 interesting okay, I’ll try that. I mean usually I can pick up on subtext with some same sex characters even if they aren’t written that way, and I’ll be like “they are so gay”- to myself of course, but in this case I was surprised people were thinking this. That being said I do think some of the “shipping” started because the lack of lgbt+ diversity in characters so people looked for those parts of themselves in their favorite characters that weren’t originally written that way. That being said I think people doing that and expressing it more online made more tv shows and movies more inclined to be more inclusive as they realized more and more audiences were wanting that. I have noticed though that any type of close friendship with same sex characters people often think of in a queer way instead of just thinking of them as close friends as if 2 people of the same gender can’t be that close without being on the lgbt+ spectrum
Every once in a while, you can see Dean glance down at Cass' lips 👄
he will lick his lips as well
I think it's more than once in a while 😭
@@honeycake368 you got that right!

A socially awkward human
Anyone else wish one would just say "f" it and kiss the other
Okay but what about the one where they’re literally just standing staring at each other for like 20 seconds
considering direct eye contact is very intimate, this is a lot
1:36 THE PROLONGED LIP STARE, I CAAANT
The eyes, chico, they never lie…
Okay but if we simply look at 1:28 we can clearly see that Dean glances at Cas' lips
It's right there folks
For the amount of staring they do im surprised no one has made an edit of the two of them to the "stop looking at me with those eyes" trend
I love Sam just being like "idk what to do, my brother and bil are arguing again"
imagine watching this and thinking its not gay I-
