i'm not someone who ships any cute pairing of guys and starting SPN i hadn't the intention to ship anyone but i gotta admit, they way jensen and misha acts + the way dean and cas are written, there is something kinda gay about them -gay in a good way. Dean looks at cas in a very specific way, no matter what the non-shippers say. He is out of breath, the stares lingers, he looks at cas from head to toe, he smiles for no reason. This is so amazing. The eyes are the window to the soul - Cas can see into Dean's, see how tormented it is, how guilty it is and how much he wants to heal Dean. Dean can see the curiosity in Cas' eyes, the mystery of the angel's mind and what his own soul is like. I'm not in this fandom but even i can see that there's some tension there... Not that that's a bad thing. I'm pretty sure it was intended.

I don't think it was intended by the writers. However, there definitely is a subgroup of fans who wants the two characters to be a couple so bad. 🙋♀️

I had scene some scattered episodes while it was airing, but nothing really past S9. When social media blew up because it had a “controversial ending” I was like “Imma finally watch this show.” I did. Makes sense as to why social media blew up when you stack things altogether like that.
Oh my gosh, I love how every time they're having an intense staring moment that lasts for a while Dean looks down and kinda checks Cas out and then really quickly looks back up into Cas's eyes like seriously how is this not canon yet?

This is so amazing. The eyes are the window to the soul - Cas can see into Dean's, see how tormented it is, how guilty it is and how much he wants to heal Dean. Dean can see the curiosity in Cas' eyes, the mystery of the angel's mind and what his own soul is like. True, Dean is a bit more...reluctant....but you can see the bond between these two, and how much they really DO care for one another, Destiel feelings or not.
Just a couple of months ago I was like _'Destiel? Destiel?! Really?! WTF girls. Ew!!!'_

this was actually very....calming. laughing at sam just awkwardly being there in the background while dean and cas eye fuck. even when they arent themselves(which is quite a lot of the time for cas) all they do is stare, and stare. and stare some more.
