I don't think Thato Rampedi is recognized enough hey! The magnitude that this guy holds is unmatched and I'm not even referring to this video. So I recently watched some of my favourite youtubers and learned that they had made it for the TH-cam Black Class of 2022. The only thing I could hear from them was "if it wasn't for Thato Rampedi..." Guys this guy deserves an award ceremony infact he deserves the world! Thato deserves everything prosperity and more! He's such a wholesome gent😪🙌
i love that you didn’t edit out anything from this conversation because the rawness of it is what is engaging. the offramping and making personal references made me relate more. thank you greatly for this 🥺🙏🏾 now lemme go subscribe on Apple Podcasts and Spotify 🥳
I'm an exam away from qualifying as a professional nurse. It's a 4 year diploma that has taken me over 5 years to complete. The failure almost killed me after falling from being a top 10 student in my institution. The conversation on failure was something I needed to hear about again. I always look at you and just think oh what a GOAT. Hearing about you navigating failure makes you so human, so relatable and even more inspiring. Thank you guys give raw real content is amazing. I can't wait for more. @Matladi stay real, I love it. You are so funny, so real. You Reminds me of me, forgetting to speak into the microphone, little errors like that ale you so human and relatable and loveable. @Lucas, I used to rate you so low on loòking for mjolo because you are cute and I thought that's all you had going on for yoursełf but you sound mature and put together. It is so lovely to her young men having a conversation about everything and anything other than disrespecting women. Keep it up! Thank you for fire content no abuti. Danki.
The sound quality is impeccable! Aah man it's amazing watching young black educated people on this platform. So inspiring. Thato is the true definition of "Do what you have to so that you can do what you want". Study and then pursue your passions. See now he has options in terms of career. Great episode gents and it's very informative.
Varsity is nice because you're under your parent's wings.Be open to the idea of it and enjoy it.I made lifetime friends there.I moved from KZN to come study in JHB(Wits).3 years of my undergrad were easy because of my friends. I failed my Honours in 2020,the first time time failing in my life. I was a mess.I was depressed, wanted to give up. My parents said go back we'll support you😭😭😭I'm nothing without them...The support form my parents, siblings, family, friends and lectures made me embrace failer. Part of it I blocked it out because in 2021 what mattered most is passing my Honours(Mind game). At the end of 2021 I passed 3 of my 4 subjects and I had to write a Supp for 1.I was a mess but again my parents(specifically my Dad)😭 said I should be grateful that I passed all the other 3 and the chance to write again. Today was my second day at my new Job😭😭😅 I wrote my first board exam last week .1 of the 2 in order to Qualify as a CA(SA) PS:I'll be going to Therapy to put everything behind me Let's learn to accept failing and embracing it.It will save a lot of people.
THESE GUYS ARE MAKING ME TAKE SCHOOL AND VARSITY SERIOUS, I DIDNT EVEN WANNA GO TO VARSITY OR COLLEGE BUT I THINK I NEED THAT EXPERIENCE. NICE SHOW GENTS
Bruhv, just watching black men imparting such intelligence literally makes my heart so mushy 🥺 this was such a beautiful episode, the vulnerability, openness, wisdom, comfortablility, at such a young beautiful age. I’m excited for the future of this podcast 💃🏿🔥
I'm in my second year Studing Computer Engineering.🎮 Never really heard such priceless advice. I think we all need more of this podcast 👑🥳 Can't wait for #2✊✊🔥
This is truly an honest conversation - thank you for sharing guys. Side note: If you guys ever consider doing an episode on financial planning/getting your money to work for you, I'm more than happy to share ideas. I know a TH-camr who's also in the Financial Planning industry and she can add immense value to that conversation as well
ARG MAAN! this gang is taking over the world !period...I love engaging in such podcasts very informative and fun. everything just makes sense!!SHOUT OUT 2 THATO ND THE BOIZZZZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..THEN THERZ LUCAS KA DICTIONARY!!🤤
This was very insightful. I finished varsity in 2015. Been working from that point on, saved and did a lot of things I'm proud of, but I only started understanding finances in 2019. I wish I had known what I know now when I started working... I am fascinated by how financially smart you guys are so early in your careers. This is awesome.
Lukas you so wise sir. You so wise. You drop Gems. Man you probably also the father of my kids. Love this Thato hope you grow sir you one of the creatives I believe in you somuch.
Thanks to Lucas because his study method of sleeping 6 hours afterschool is really working for me . After watching the video I knew that as a learner in matric that's what I needed because I love sleeping ,so 6 hours is enough.
My attention span is terrible so for me to watch the whole episode in 1 go just shows how much I enjoyed the episode and actually learnt from y'all especially as a teenager who dreams about moving out everyday, y'all brought me back to reality🙏🏾❤️
This was refreshing to listen to and very relatable. I think young boys can be inspired by real life people who are everyday trying to be better versions of themselves big ups guys 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
This was so relatable the transitions that we go through, university experience holistically is beautiful it builds character, however, it is not be-all and end all, it might feel like it for the first 2 years but once you’re in your final year and you get that degree it’s a sobering experience, priorities change.
Lucas should open a TH-cam channel 🙂he is a gem cant believe it took me 3 seasons of looking for mjolo to notice/have a glimpse of the kind of man he is😂😂🥺🤦♀️
One this yall are three bunch of beautiful man to watch danm❤️😭🔥🔥and again beauty with brains that's very attractive 👌💯and thank you guys we really needed this... Beautiful work really... I really enjoyed the podcast!!
If you lived at the fields you already went through buying your own bed, fridge etc. But if you go to UP and you're on a bursary I highly recommend living there because living there gives you a nice credit score. I got a score of 600 easily because of that and I didn't have to use my own money so it was a win win.
This is soo good to hear infact it's an eye opener for me as a student who is still in university completing their qualification so I needed to hear this
What an informative podcast. For a you lady in her 20s and still in University, the advice you gave is amazing 👏. Thank you Malume mic and the gents. 🥰

Yoh ebile nkete the anxiety e tlakane le trauma ya after matric where I got rejected everywhere knowing that I passed well and all. That time was super depressing like I just fear again for the end of this year yoh
I loved this so much! Very educational. And as crazy as 40k sounds Matladi did not lie . I moved from a student commune to my own place (as I come from a small town that is hours always from the city I was living in) and it was crazy !! That month I had absolutely nothing left . Trying to move in ka salary is another pendamic😂😂 but when home is far you gotta do what you gotta do . Live at home for as long as you need to if kuyenzeka skaforce. Wonderful podcast gents.
