vinegar is actually diluted acetic acid which upon reacting with baking soda in an acid/base reaction forms the corresponding sodium salt, sodium acetate, which is then able to crystallize as those beutiful needle crystalls
4:25 it is a colligative property pf solutions called vapor pressure lowering, when the heated bottle is placed upside down and ice placed at the top of it, it changes the pressure inside of the bottle and makes a vacuum. That's why the water boils inside.. 😁😁

And since he let it rest for 10 second after boiling making the vapour collect inside container and hence the inside pressure increases, while placing ice above the container decreased the outer atmospheric pressure. Is the ice absorbing the heat from the air inside the bottle which makes it have more density to be concentrated at an area away from the water which can make the water have a reduction in boiling point due to less air pressure on the water????
Giuseppe Salierno it gets really hot, a TH-camr put his hand in it and had to go to the hospital, it’s called hot ice, you could probably find his video
shopnoraj actually they took the cap off and it’s simple sucking in air from the bottom. It’s not boiling at all. You can repeat this with room temp water.
Yes. A very technical explanation would be: Because the water boiled and then you put the cap on is becase it lessens the pressure inside the bottle which will then start "boiling" the air out of the water to compensate for the pressure drop inside the bottle.
I for example am not only intrigued but friggin' obsessed with it. So sad the winter is almost over here and it's shockingly mild. Not even single day of frost and snow, just some sleeting at best from time to time.
The reason why it boils with the ice is because after putting on the cap the water is still at boiling temperature but the pressure build up inside prevents water from boiling. Adding the ice cube on top condenses the built up gasses and allows for more water to boil to replace the condensed water vapor.
A bit loose with the terms but more or less right. In fact the bottle was not boiling when the cap was placed, water is in equilibrium with the gas above at some high pressure. The ice cube lowers the pressure of that air, and water boils at a lower temperature when the air pressure above it is lower. I.e, water can boil at about 98C or even lower at high elevation for example. It also depends if the cap is sealed this time as it certainly wasn’t in the prior experiment at room temperature air was allowed to creep in from the cap.
