  • There's no place on earth that compare with the wild outstanding isolated natural beauty of the shorelines, the coastal plain and the jungle clad coastal mountains of Northern Tropical Queensland.
Much of the area has UNESCO World Heritage status.
    Dunk Island
Dunk Island, a jewel set in the sparkling Coral Sea, lies 4 Km off Mission Beach on the mainland.
Dunk Island certainly deserves the accolade "Paradise on Earth".
Words alone cannot adequately describe the beauty and splendour of this special tropical island.
The traditional owners of Dunk Island are the Bandjin and Djiru Aboriginal Tribes.
Their name for Dunk Island is "Coonanglebah" which translated means "The Island of Peace and Plenty"
    Girringun N.P.and Wallaman Falls.
Wallaman falls is situated high up in the coastal mountains in the wild and wonderful Girringun N. P., most of which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Wallaman Falls is the highest waterfall in Australia, it's a horsetail falls with a drop of over 900 feet into a 70 feet deep plunge pool.
It's such a stunning site, in a fantastic panoramic setting.
The Aboriginal Tribes who traditionally owned this land believe that the spirits of their ancestors will forever dwell in these mountains.
We are about to view one of the largest and more importantly, the oldest rainforest on the planet.
We all inhabit this wonderful planet with its outstanding natural beauty and diverse flora and fauna, we must, each one of us, play our part to conserve, not destroy this amazing gift.
    Enjoy
