Definitely the Dagger. I live in the Myrtle Beach area and we have the largest PSA Store. I have 3 compact and one full size. It's because they are $49 for the complete lower and I've bought slides with sw4&5 cuts for $125-$150 onsale. So for less than $250 a great , trouble free Glock 19-17 clones. I also own a Rock 5.7 where I bought the lower for $99 and slide for $129. Amazing gun. The triggers all need breaking in , or just do a .25 cents polish ..
Easily the P-10 for me. Most underrated gun IMO
My favorite one that everybody fails to mention is the Canik Line of guns. I run a mete SFT as duty size and mete mc9 for carry....no need to upgrade anything on them just get a decent red dot and good to go. and on the SFT they now have tons of plates to run the rmr footprint for like 40 bucks. And the triggers are amazing...hands down the best stock trigger on a striker gun ever. My SFT bone stock pulls at like 3.5lbs and super crisp with around 3/16's on reset travel. And all that said i just picked up a second one brand new for 429? and it comes with a holster that you can OWB or flip the clips side and run it IWB. For the money you can not beat them.
I've been meaning to get one, but unfortunately I haven't played with it yet
I was just checking the Mete SFT today at my local shop today. Think I’m gonna pick it up.
@@TacticalToolbox They are amazing, to me better grip and feel to a walther and the trigger may be a bit better. Should try one when you can. Made me stop even looking at glock and i have an orginal gen 1 glock 17 and a gen 3 19....they now collect dust.
I feel like the canik guns and the new taurus guns are some of the most mentioned cheap guns.
@TacticalToolbox wait what no canik in the armory 😮😮😮
CZ P-10 for me. Caniks are great, but trigger is light for carry IMO. Can't go wrong with Beretta.
Super cool video. I personally have decided to go with an M&P 2.0 full size optic ready for my first pistol. The grip texture just can't be beat and it felt pretty natural to point for me. But the P-10C was one I really looked at as well. Really excited to join the 2A community.
Solid choice man
1. CZ P10C or F
2. CZ P-07
3. Walther PDP really
4. Smith Wesson MP 2.0
5. Canik METE
6. Ruger LCP 9
7. Beretta APX
I second this order
When did he talk about the PDP
My wife and I both carry daggers. We got them during a Christmas sale. Each came with 10 magazines and a soft case, threaded barrel on mine. Both came with optic cut slide that does not require a plate. I paid $399 for each, with the mags.
Got to love palmetto State armory they really try to arm Americans. But heard the dagger can come apart just by racking it couple of times in a row.
@ronnybello909 Ran over 800 rds through mine. Not a single issue.
For the P10C…Holosun, makes an SCS for 350 bucks the direct amounts… then add 20 bucks for Talon grips… juuuuuust saying.
Bruh, didn't know you had a new video. It didn't show up in my feed until I randomly scroll for videos.
Whoa, that's odd
@@TacticalToolboxsame
Same. Even went back to my subs and checked and the video isnt showing up at all.
Same here.
Same here. I'm still subscribed but it's not coming up in my subscription feed just in home feed with everything else.
good call on P-10c. Still on my list to pick up. Wondering if you have shot a SAR9C Gen3? It is ridonkulously good from the the factory and sells for $450 street. Also the Canik TP9 SC Elite was another one I picked up for $407 out the door. The trigger on it is amazing, and aftermarket is plentiful even from Canik USA and everyone else. I picked up a softer spring from CanikUSA, a Canik threaded barrel on clearance for $50 and a brass backstrap from Taylor and it shoots like flat like a full size. Perhaps better than a full size. Keep up the great work.
I got my czp10f optic cut new for 399 and I bought the compact also that way I could slap a Comp on the compact slide and put it on the full size frame! And its fire 🔥
dude created the cz 19x😂
This review seriously shows me how personal firearms can be. Complaints about p10c grip, but funny enough when I first bought mine, i thought it dug into my hand fairly aggressive. Then lets not downplay the trigger, and sights. 400 ish for optic ready model, is pretty hard to beat, this gun shoots extremely well.
gotta get some caniks in to put up against these, amazing triggers out of the box and a holster(not the best) and can get most of their models for 300-500
Agreed man
My main gun is the SCT (19) with strike Ind. (Liteslide) multi optic cut holosun 507, Ballistic Advantage bbl, Apex duty trigger & Glock internals. I trust my life with it! Over 2.5K rounds now
It's hard to beat a p10c. They are great.
I lucked out when I bought my m&p 2.0 it came with a red dot and optic hight sights I got it on sale for just under 600 out the door and I absolutely love it
Carry a base Canik MC9 and I love my PSA Micro Dagger and Compact Dagger. Hell, even my Taurus G3C is a great gun for the $250 I paid for it.
I'm always surprised that Sar handguns never seem to make these lists.
ppl in the US don't know that SAR is a major military arms manufacturer in Turkey. They really do make great pistols.
I edc my Gen 2 sar9. Thousands of rounds, and zero misfires. I have big hands and there isn't a single handgun that fits my grip better than that sar
Same!
Love my sar9x. Platinum finish with red dot and laser. It's a Glock with an hk vp9 grip.
@adamioppolo1884 yeah I love mine
My man, you're my favorite GunTuber... and I was going to ask you, "Where have you been?" but, I just realized you've been on about a once-a-month release schedule. Bro... you gotta release more videos, lol. I can't wait a full month for your gun-reviewing goodness.
Also, please do a video following up on the Blackout Defense Quantum DTL and Q Honey Badger.
ALSO THOUGH... when comparing those two awesome ARs, I have a third brand for you (local to me; but, I am not affiliated) that's manufactured just east of Cincinnati, Ohio called HM Defense. They make ARs and they're phenomenal and have some very, very cool patented features. Like a gas block built into their barrels and a strengthened bolt carrier.
Lastly, there is Guardian Defense Manufacturing (GDM) made in Dayton (my hometown), Ohio. They make suppressors... and they even make some of the Dead Air models for Dead Air. I've seen their cans in person, and they're quality.
Please checkout HM Defense and Guardian Defense Manufacturing... they're worth your time and need some PR. Again, I'm not affiliated with either of them, but, they're local and amazing.
Nicely done breakdown! Really professional, clear and valuable for many folks.
I love my SCT frankin Glock 19. Picked every part of it and assembled myself. Went with a Lantac 9ine SS threaded barrel, S.A. Weapons comp, and a cheap Ebay RMR cut SS slide, and the NBS aluminum adjustable LPK (which I highly reccomend over a stock trigger or polymer LPK) It's been Rock solid reliable. Im way more accurate with it, than I am with my Echelon, but I also have a lot more rounds through it. Anderson actually sells a rebrand of the SCT frame as well called the KIger 9, I think they also offer a complete Pistol with the frame as well, but if the anderson version is cheaper at the time of purchase, it's the same thing.
Heck ya man, that's a nice build
I bought the sct 19 size frame from brownells with already built for $90 and immediately upgraded the trigger to the timney, slapped a dagger slide on it with the holosun and it's been flawless so far. Great shooter for sure.
I recently added silicon carbide to my P10c and it made a world of difference. I haven't shot an M&P, but I have held multiple ones at gun stores and although the texture is good, it's still not aggressive enough for me and it would probably have the same treatment as my P10c if I was to ever purchase one.
My p10 series pistols and p07 are my absolute favorites, zero failures that weren't ammo related, I trust any of them with my life and they're so good to shoot! I have around 4500 rounds through my P10s, 2k through my p10c (recently adopted it as my daily carry with a tlrx and 507c ACSS). Also, if you've shot a Glock, you'll likely enjoy these more, they're way more ergonomic and better recoil impulse. One note, you may want to pick up talon grips for $25, game changer for me.
M&P 2.0 is great, especially with the flat trigger, not as good as the cz's, but really good reliable pistols, and I like the grip texture.
Never shot a rost martin, no opinion
My APX A1 tactical is my least favorite pistol I own, trigger is mushy crap and the finish is really bad, super slippery and it's wearing really quickly, the only reason I shoot it is because it has a threaded barrel, shooting suppressed, probably 2k rounds through it so far, I get a lot of failure to eject and go back to battery, I will never recommend this pistol to anyone ever. Don't buy this just because it looks cool, not worth it, I don't shoot this pistol unsuppressed often, I don't enjoy it
Looking forward to the 43x and Competitors video. SCT Manufacturing hasn’t answered any of my questions about holster fitment for their 43x sized frame.
Also, I got my optic ready CZ P10c for $299 from PSA. So 299+76.95 C&H Plate+300 507c during sale + 18.99 for Handle It Grips = $694.94 for a kitted out P10
SAR 9 series, Canik Mete/TP9/Rival series, Beretta APX, Stoeger ST9 series
The SCT 43 assembled frame has stock Glock internals, just built one recently
Get a Taylor Freelance brass backstrap for the P 10 C. Changes the whole feel of the grip and balances the gun and reduces recoil due to the added weight.
i've been pretty impressed with the BRG9 Elite, an XD9 clone.
got mine for under 250 gas coupons on a special holiday sale.
if it's a 1for1 clone of the XD, it's definitely overbuilt. almost makes me want to add the XD family to my safe. what stops me is staying to a standardized magazine platform centered around the g17 mags. prefer the g45 pattern over a g19 pattern for hand size. the odd part is the g26 pattern with +2 mags feels better than a g19 pattern in my hand.
my mag philosophy is based on the scavenge factor. hand fit for me is a preferance for the PSA Dagger and p80s. yeah, i got my p80s reliable with TT's vids.
One thing I feel isn’t really addressed in this video is that with the more affordable guns maybe you can end up paying more in the long run, but it doesn’t all have to be up front. Sometimes all you can afford is a few hundred for the gun, then a few months later you have saved up enough to upgrade a component, then a few months after that you can pick up the optic. In the meantime you still have a gun to carry and train with. You can upgrade things as you can or need to. On the other hand, an upfront cost of $900+ can just be too much for someone. Or they would have to wait longer to save up and be without a gun in the meantime.
Extremely surprised canik didn’t make the list. The tp9 elite is like 400 bucks and basically better in every way than a Glock 19, and an sfx to out shoot everything is only 500. Insane deals and values
Good video, no surprise there.Beretta is the oldest gun company in the world 15 generations of Beretta family. Have a 92fs inox, and it will shoot any nine , plus p and I have put thousands of plus p plus, which is a load I used to sign for to buy.The 92 I bought in 1997, still looks new,and is still accurate more than any other nine, except for the excellent Sig 226, one of my favorites.
I have a "Gucci" Dagger and it runs flawlessly...
check out the BPX9 barrel from black phoenix customs is on sale right now if you haven't upgraded the barrel
I have 2 PSA Daggers that cost me about $500 total. They are great guns for the price and I have not had a single issue with either after about 500 rounds through each.
Or you could buy the CZ P-10C with Holosun SCS for like $600.
Love my Arex Delta M. Since I picked it up, I prefer to carry it more than my p365. It's my favorite balance between a Glock 19 size gun and the micro 9s like the p365. ANR Designs is my first go to for holsters to guns that are hard to find holsters for. I've been surprised as to how wide a variety of guns and lights options they support.
Definitely a huge CZ fan and its my best bang for buck pick. surprised you didn't mention the Masada
My favorite dirt cheap handguns are ones a buddy is selling after buyers regret or they want to sell to fund another purchase, some great deals can be had...
p10c OR SR (optics ready suppressor ready) model absolute best bang for your buck so many QUALITY features for so little price. Absolutely cannot go wrong with the canik loadout packages either if you're willing to spend a bit more.
I've have some failure to extract and feed issues with SCT with assembled parts. I'm giving it a break-in period of 50 rounds before dive into parts.
How do you not mention canik in an under 500 shootout?
Good lookin out 👊 thanks for free Alpha
Just picked up the APX A1 tactical compact. I agree the slide is slick, they needed to make the serrations sharper and or wider. The trigger reminds me of my xdm elite compact 10mm, very similar. Not my fav trigger, little heavy for my taste. Wish they would have done something with the front site rather than just black! Also picked up a Sar 9 socom and a Tisas px9 duty with threaded barrel. The triggers on the Socom and px9 are way better than the APX. To be honest I've been most impressed with the px9. The px9 trigger is smooth as butter!! Both the Socom and px9 trigger break at 3.5 pounds. The socom has a better reset. Waiting for a M&P 2.0 compact le model with OR night sights and the newer trigger to arrive at my ffl. Been thinking of grabbing the Arex before I came across the great deal on that M&P. Been going to get a P10 but just never came across one at the right moment and price and now I see they came out with a new p09 Nocturne and can't decide between the 2.
What compensator is that on the Brownells build?
I carry the base model apx a1 compact and love this gun it's been nothing but reliable even with several hundred rounds of monarch steel case, not one hiccup
Thanks for the video , i have the full-size beretta Apx og
Right on man, How are you liking it?
I like it , I shoot it more than my px4 storm
Question you think in the future there might be shotgun build semi and pump , like the way the do 80% glocks
@@Joel1989V I honestly don't know man, but it would be cool if there was one.
Can’t find the holster for the Barretta
Literally built my dagger with sales with RMR cut for 229$ ..there always on sale ..159$ slide and 49$ I think ..crazy cheap
I just picked up a PSA Saber Dagger full size “S” version (glock 19 clone) it came with 2 17 + 5 Magpul mags its the M81 Desert camo laser stippled version with a ceracoat black slide with suppressor height blacked out sights with a upgraded aluminum flat face trigger and a stippled grip and enhanced mag well and it comes with a really nice pistol bag starting for $599 and if u get the gucci barrel (gold or chameleon) etc there threaded and fluted for $629 … not to mention they also will have a ported barrel available in the future or already might be out …. This is my first time commenting on any of the videos bit if you could please review one of these guns the ffl i shipped it to literally was shocked it was at that price point and he said that it reminded him of a Shadow Systems on steroids… lol i was like idk about all that but its definitely options rich and a great value and i have 300 rounds threw it so far just picked it up last week and it ran flawlessly… i noticed on PSA website there out of stock good luck at finding one there selling like hot cakes 😁… im very happy i picked one up to say the least
Great review!
Sheld plus Optics ready about 400 bucks and good aftermarket support I carry m&p 2.0 and the shield plus both with a holsun
I have that M&P 2.0 and it’s awesome. Right out of the box- it’s the best of my options.
Stoeger STR9 are decent guns around $225-400.
My A-Rex Delta M, It's very snappy also.
I bought a P10C with tritium night sights and optics ready for $350 brand new from PSA on a 4th of July special. Same can be done on pretty much ALL holidays. Non optics cut can be had for $299. Its literally better in ppretty much every way vs a Glock 19 OR a MP 2.0.
If anyone is ever looking for holsters that will fit nearly everything, check out the ORPAZ holsters. Especially if you open carry. The 40X is completely adjustable and allows almost any pistol / light combo.
You weren't fair to the Beretta. You compared a threaded barrel pistol vs non threaded. The regular compact without the threaded barrel like the shield you compared it to is only $399 and you can easily find it for less. The price to get a threaded barrel on the shield would skyrocket the price.
I carry a p10s that i milled for an eps carry and love it but my competition gun is a 2.0 because of the cheaper yet still reliable Armscor 17 rounders. Almost glock pmag pricing so you can buy 10 of them for less reloading and not break the bank as much. CZ P10 series is a great gun but youre approaching Sig's territory with the magazine prices. But maybe its just a me thing wsnting to have at least 10 mags per handgun i own.
I know ANR Designs makes Arex holster. I have been able to run my Delta Gen 2 in my Glock 19 non-light bearing holsters.
Nice list but it is absolutely criminal to not have the Taurus gx4 carry model which is the best gun for the money on this list it shoots better than the Sig p365, is as reliable as a Glock has a Optics ready Toro model that still comes in around $350 and was Gun and Ammo gun of the year in 2022
Springfield xds has become my favorite after shopping on the used market for one
Can you please do a review on BCA Grizzly? I've been eyeing it. Another great video!🔥
One thing the APX has suppressor ready barrel. That's something.
Nice video keep making more videos like this one! 👍
EDC a P10c and its the nr.1 choice for me. I don't think the grip texture of the p10c is as bad as you make it. have not had any issue with my gun since i bought it and i have sweaty hands
The dagger is right there with the best of em after a trigger upgrade🔥
I am here for the Arex delta m2, it was my first hand gun thing has been amazing! If you want holsters! BUCKS HOLSTERS HAS THEM. I’ve had my holster for a long time! If you want to run a light a Glock 19 holster with what ever light will fit just tighten the tension “kydex holsters”
And the optic plate I’ve used the stock one with a holosun 407 and it’s held zero with no issues for over 2 years so it might be hit or miss with the plastic plates but mine has been fine
Great Video!
YOU ARE LOOKIN JACKED THESE DAYS MY MAN
Have you had a chance to try out the Grit Grips frame for the "Glock clone". I love that it takes gen 3 internals but uses a gen 4 mag release, and the 1911 grip angle.
Taurus GX4 CARRY for $280. Cant beat that.
Only gun in the list I'd be able to purchase is the M&P (even that's over the $500 price point), everything else is off the Commiefornia roster. I really hope CZ brings the new P-09 and the P-10 OR versions to the state. The new Shadow 2 Compacts would be the cherry on top.
Are you planning on reviewing the CZ P09 Nocturne?
I have the compact and full size Daggers. I own 3 compact and one full size. I am looking at the micro now. I also have 6 other PSA rifles, in AK,AR and I've bought a Kimber Shadow ghost Lw 1911. The 43x size is better to conceal. You can get a Dagger lower for $49 and a slide for $165-200. That's the way to buy them
I have a WC gripped 365, a P80 G43, a G48 and a PSA Micro, after fitting a 407k to the Micro its cost was less than the others not including the G43 (not upgradeable) clone, Not a great trigger but a good one, over 1500 rds with no issue!
I love my Stoeger STR-9F Combat
good vid, thanks
Wager does optic cuts for $75-100 and has a super fast turn around
That’s what I’m talking about. Plates are for dinner, not optics. Get that slide milled!
For some reason this video did not show up in my subscribed videos and I double checked and I am subscribed.
Beretta APX series is fantastic overall imo. They offer very good sales with extra mags and such which is very nice. CZ P10 Series is amazing (HBI trigger shoe), but likely the worst marketing ever...dump Colt and take care of business the right way and waaaay too slow responding to market demands, Walther PDP / PDP-F marketing needs to step it up. These tools are top notch and they have their legendary trigger straight from the factory and they have recently offered good sales incentives, such as free red dot optic.
CZ P-10 with a holosun scs bundle near me for $680 right meow.... smokin deal.
What mag extension do you have on the CZ P10c? I picked up an optics cut version for $285, threw some talon grips on it and love it. Also, threaded barrel suggestions and comp?
It's Shield Arms, there's a promo code at the parts list for it. Parts list is here: bit.ly/47gVYun
NVM, found the parts list, nice video!
It was always my understanding that SCT uses OEM internal components (unlike most aftermarket parts companies). After looking it up, it appears that they use a combinations of the two.
No Canik? Smith & Wesson M&P 10mm M2.0 4.6" VS Canik Mete SFT PRO, which one is better , both around the same price point ? it would be my first Gun ?
Try the Steyr Arms M9 A2. Ready to go for $325 with optics mount and 3.5 lb trigger.
Where are you seeing these prices on the M2.0? Everywhere I've looked is about or over $700
Smith and Wesson SD line of pistols... Although the Taurus G series also ranks pretty high on my value list.
Think if I'm buying a frame in 2024 its Gritt grip with oem installed there what 120-139$
The micro dagger can use 43x magazines, it's not proprietary
Interesting timing on this…
Shortly after Classic Firearms released their “Best handguns for the money”…. 😳🙄
That's cool, but totally didn't know they were releasing that video.
@@TacticalToolbox Fair enough. I’ve seen it happen other times of others do same topic on same day with hours of prep, so no way could be planned. Sometimes it just turns out that way.
Keep up the great content! 😁
You’re one of the ones who got me following 2A content, so mad respect! 🙂
Could we get a "truck gun" storage video? I'm looking for options for easy access but also secure storage. My work is in a kinda sketchy area but they are very much against bringing guns inside. I'd like to have a storage device that I can access easily if I need it during commute but also secure so I can leave the gun in the truck and not be too worried about theft. There are cameras everywhere outside and the parking lot has a new 8ft fence all the way around but I'm still not going to just toss it in the glove box and call it a day.
I mess with your videos bro🔥 I love the Sct43sc but the 19 has uncomfortable edges and rubs the web of my hand wrong.
my berretta apx tac fullsize does not like its Beretta apx compensator they sell on their site for it, any aftermarket suggestions?
I bought a full size apxa1 for $350 new at cabelas with 2 mags 17rd and 21rd. Tritium front sight blackout rear, and a burris F.F.3 on top. All for $350+ tax and $20 b.c.
What comp is that on the Brownells g19?
I think we need an increased trend of deep slide cuts and thin optics so that you don't need suppressor height sights
Trijicon RMR cost more than the pistol
My APX I had to order a lighter spring because it was heavy to rack and kept stovepiping. The slide is slippery and the grip does get slippery after shooting a bit so the texturing sucks. I have the full size
The Brownell frame is very close to the Sttike Ind frame which is no longer available. Strike was ahead of their time.
Any holster that will fit the Sct frame with a dagger slide?
Most Glock holsters fit. They fit even better with light bearing holsters
When are manufacturers going to start drilling holes for multiple bases from factory??? Strike Industries have been doing it for a long time. You now see a simular copy in the Springfield Echelon . Get rid of plates. Less issues and the slide would be ready for anything you have on hand.
