That's why I never wanted to eat with our boss because it's too awkward. He looks friendly but intimidating. And the atmosphere is not good. We cannot laugh or joke around.

The older generation of South Korea is the hardest people to please. That's one of the greatest challenge of my adjustment here in South Korea,btw...they're so hard headed in almost everything and look cold but if you're in trouble they won't think twice to help you than the younger generation these days.

When she grew up and married she took care of 2 elderly person (mom and mother in law) while earning for the family. Its hard to change a person who gone through so much especially those who experienced war effects. She may come across as rude and aloof but watching the earlier episodes she does help people with her cookings. Her grandson love her a lot.
