No, actually the coach resigned by himself because of the poor club results. The club got so much fans in home and away games, the popularity is insane, 4 of the players chosen as all star, but the performance didn't followed with it. I think that why he resigned.

I literally started tearing up while watching. I started watching this show solely for coach hyun and after he left this show wasn’t that interesting. I really missed him and it’s sad that he’s laid off from the team. He was really passionate about his job and I will really miss seeing him interacting with the players and caring for them. I really hope he stays in this show somehow.
