The good old days of the one man army movies. Watched this movie on repeat as a kid
Same
Now it is one woman army to the rescue 😅
Nostalgia alert! @architectsly3242, those one-man army movies were pure gold. Rambo was the ultimate hero of the '80s action era!
@@recapkingofficial Very true. Rambo and Commando/Col. Matrix were the top dogs back then
Plot of the movie: Vietnamese attempt to enforce their own laws in their own country but their efforts are thwarted by a mass murdering war criminal acting without orders who gets treated like a hero.
It's such a shame how our Vietnam veterans were treated so badly. I appreciate every veteran for defending our country. They didn't choose to enter these "conflicts", our leaders did that for them. We definitely need better leaders!
Well...they did lose so treat losers like losers I guess.
Before you rage, the Vietnam was was an useless power glove and turns out it ain't fitting on USA's hand, just as Russia in Ukraine I guess, I hate war but I do believe those who go, hungry for blood in a war, should and must die in it. We don't need veterans, we need monuments for heroes sacrificing their life so the government stays rich and fat. Such losers.
Since when is America located in south east Asia and needs to be protected from people who just want to live in their own country?
@@keepsmiling7645it doesn’t matter, our soldiers didn’t choose to go. We protected many Vietnamese as well.
@@robireday I just said that they did not defend America in Vietnam as you said because that claim is stupid. Furthermore, you didn't protect shit except a brutal dictator who worse than the communists.
There were no heroes, only poor souls who defended their homeland from a super power that burned down whole villages and sent other poor boys into the jungle to die because of their fucked up politicans
@@robireday Well technically you chose to go at the start it was near the late end of the Vietnam war that conscription was introduced. And you say protected but in reality you just moved them away from the fighting because it was feared that they were Vietcong fighters.
conspiracy theory: Storm Troopers are actually the soldiers in this movie
And shrapnels dont exist lmao
Nah bro, that's just spray n pray.
Star Wars is based on the Vietnam war, with the US as the evil empire, according to the man who made it. So yes, the US army are stormtroopers
Not a theory..straight factual shit there
Haha, love it, @shadowwalker7224! Maybe a crossover we never knew we needed - Rambo meets Storm Troopers! Imagine the epic battles!
It's 2023 and there's alot going on,I'm still waiting on John Rambo to intervene in the Russian and Ukraine war😂
You do realize "Rambo" is a FICTIONAL CHARACTER
He has become a Belarusian President now and trying to contain Wagner forces in averting a possible coup against Putin.
@@NDR-hn3ueWhat is he
Whose side? 🤔
@@Charmis452 Not so. Putin and Steven Seagal are looking under their beds every night because they know they are the baddies and Rambo might just come for them.
3 issues, 1st. rambo has only been in prison for 3 to 5 years from the 1st movie and not 20.. 2nd. his mission was to do recon for US POW's in vietnam and not prisoner rescue.. 3rd. I don't think the girl's name is sara, her name is co bao..
correct, her name is co bao
Well the moronic AI that read this material fouled up all sorts of things. Nguyen is pronounced, “WIN.”
She sooo haawny
Spot on with the details, @userjlj! The Rambo timeline can be a bit tricky, and you nailed it. Co Bao's got the spotlight here!
How Americans treated the vets of Vietnam is a shame .
You sound brainwashed by American corporate propaganda
Absolutely, @dawasherpa8418. Let's hope for a world where our veterans are always respected and honored for their sacrifice.
Please, Please do all of these! I like all of these movies as the pure action movies they are. And also he has a lot of trouble in his life, he struggled really bad with how he became after his war experience and it was good to watch how he worked through it with the help of his friend colonel trautmen. They never let him be in peace, cause he was too good in war.
Same
the last one is the best.
Totally get you, @HawkinsTTV! The Rambo series is like a rollercoaster of action and emotions. And you're right, poor Rambo never gets a break. Maybe one day he'll find that peaceful cabin in the woods!
Great movie and characters...But c'mon...this was generated by A.I. Just LISTEN to it.
Wounded him alright. Dude was in 47 dimensions at once with that arrow.
The moral of the story: Helicopters are not just for transportation but also for epic revenge missions 😂
That is ludicrous
I’m a big fan of Sly, growing up with the early Rambo and Rocky series. An important message is for the US and other countries to take much better care of their vets. I hope everyone can agree on that.
Absolutely, @toxinfactory7986! Sly's iconic roles left a mark on many of us. And you're spot on, taking care of our veterans should be a universal priority.
A very good movie... Even today lots of people calls him Rambo and not Sylvester Stallone...
I called him Rambo for a very long time. Even called Arnie The commando. I think these two movies came out the same year
@@jumaane5066 yes Rambo First Blood 2 and Commando came out at the same year 1985...
so funny how far different part 1 was from 2 and I love it
If that Patrol Boat is a Battleship than would a dingy be considered a Destroyer? :3
There's no other tough guy on screen who can match Sly till date🔥🔥🔥🔥
Rambo used his bow(bend at the waist) to dispatch many enemys. He forgot the bow and arrows apparently.
Rambo is nothing but a sorry ass actor on the juice that became a movie star because he made porno movies . Here is your dose of reality
Classic Rambo move, @danjenkins9417! Maybe he left the bow at home that day, thinking he'd go easy on the arrows. A true action icon, nonetheless!
LOL.. Yeah, Hollywood going back to Errol Flynn Sr.'s days of the 1930s. But it's still fun.
Thank you for the video,
I seen it mamy times..
An epic Stallone movie of the 80s.❤❤❤👍👍👍
Well said!
I’ve seen all of these movies. Enjoyed them all. My dad was in Nam twice. He survived but died of agent orange.
Thank you for your Service.
hate how rambo lost his amazing gf. I imagine entire films about them living happily ever after.
I love your deep philosophical "moral of the story"!
That's what you will get from A.I.
Very good work!
This movie won’t be the same after watching hot shots
Good explanation and editing
The "Bazooka" was actually the M72 LAW which is a launcher used in Vietnam to replace the WWII Bazooka
Sharp eye, @CrossOfBayonne! The M72 LAW was the real star in that scene. Good to have some weapons experts in the comments!
This movie never gets old man Rambo such a vet legend
Kreese and Rambo, who thought they would be together in a movie😂
Rambo would destroy kreese
14;00'' Unauthorized Espionnage'' That's a good one !!!
A great movie. Classic
Rambo was the OG Far Cry series before there was a game
The gasps for air after every sentence.......
Its a human talking so what
This is one my favorite action war movies. This film was shot in Mexico. This is the best Rambo film next to the original.
In my humble opinion. .the theme song at the end of this movie by frank Stallone is the best and such touching
High tech equipment... Lol... Those were the days
i hate how the AI can't do basic grammar
How true. It was horrible.
25:12, depending on where you read the info, the back blast area from the rear of M72 LAW rocket launcher is 15m behind the LAW in a 30 degree cone, so firing that LAW from the Helicopter would have killed everyone on board and probably blown up the helicopter too.
Not that most of the rest of the film isn't so far-fetched as to be unbelievable of course lol
Great observation, @mr.not.so.perfect.666! Movie magic sometimes bends the rules a bit. Rambo's stunts might be a tad over the top, but that's what makes it classic action fun!
The music from the NES game keeps running through my head
"What do you think about me?"
"You're strong, VERY STRONG, the strongest so far, but you're nearly dead - for what? Make a radio call".
One of the memorable dialogue...
"Overwhelmed by the fury in Rambos eyes." And the explosive arrows.
True 😢
To all veterens. THANK YOU. From U.S.N. Ret. Nam and Storm Vet.
I thought it was the most awesome movie when I was a kid. I saw it in the theater. Also rented the VHS and watched it multiple times.
Wow well done bud your a hero 🫡🙏👋👍👍👍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🥰🫡 28:07
Very very interesting 😍
I like the sound of the moral lesson
"Murdock, I'm coming for you."
Sylvester Stallone has got some nerve. He ran to Canada during the war and taught dancing. Making this movie is a slap in the face to real soldiers. What a disgrace.
There's Kyle Krease! He really did serve in Vietnam.
I think you're confused about kyle reese who is the soldier the 1st terminator and john kreese from cobra kai..
Wow !
Nah who needs to watch a recap I already watched all these many years ago;)
My all time favorite movie.
I remember in the 80s Hollywood when rogue veterans snuck back into Vietnam to rescue POWs. Kind of a final F-U in the indiscriminate killings of NVA and USSR soldiers like in;
A CASE OF HONOR.
AIRWOLF.
BEHIND ENEMY LINES.
FIRST BLOOD 2.
THE GOOD GUYS WEAR BLACK.
MAGNUM PI.
MISSING IN ACTION 1-3.
UNCOMMON VALOR.
But but but .... Behind Enemy Lines was 2001, no?.
He should have never been sent to prison to begin with
Vietnam has become metaphor where big nations lose to smaller ones
So the story is: Rambo won the entire Vietnam war, all by himself, with bow and arrow.
I can't get over an RPG being called a God damn Bazooka😢
he called nguyen is guin 🤣
Good ol days
it wasnt a battlehip but a gun motorboat
Hearing rambo recap by the heaven awaits guy is....surrealistic.
Please do rambo 3 movie recap
I would think, the Moral of the Story is : In the End .. Good eventually overcomes Evil. ... but sadly sacrifices have to be made, with the eventual outcomes always bearing the wounds & scars and the pain.
Rambo actually put a roll of film in the camera, good for 36 images. And you never got to see if the pictures are good until they get processed at a photo lab.
That helo wasn’t firing missiles it was firing 7.62 rounds out of an onboard mg, if it was firing missiles you’d seen explosions 😂
The funniest story about Sylvester. In real life, during the Vietnam War, he went to Europe and worked as a swim teacher / life guard for women.
It's saddening that pure stunt movies like this are almost like extinct species in the Hollywood movie industry. People loved watching movies like this one.
1:55 So your movie is secretly a Budweiser AD???
rambos are great.
I watch still watch theez cuz im shredded like stallone in prt2 and 3 specifically.
stallone didit for flix....i do it for funnnn
No. He said he found the “mine” to be the most effective weapon
I am also Vietnamese
erick is john Krees from Cobra Kai
I LOVE the Rambo series.
Sooooo tired of listening to giving moral of every films. If not, a good channel
John j Rambo classic 👍👍🇬🇧
Isn't the beautiful Vietnamese agent named Co Bao in the movie?
He proceeded to "wound" the tai lutenenant
No GI has ever defended his homeland outside the USA. They were all just tools of politics. Millions of GI's have fallen far, far from home for 100 years. Countries that they would probably never have visited voluntarily as normal people. It's always been about power politics... until today. I served my country for 14 years myself, but we defended our borders... nothing more or less. Defending my homeland (if necessary) is absolutely legitimate. But wanting to defend my home on the other side of the world is just nonsense.
Do you feel that way about WWII? I generally agree with you on most wars since and WWI, but Nazism was clearly going to show up on our doorstep if not checked?
Yes
It's just a movie bro.why r u so serious
@@kumarshen8210 Why do I take this seriously?
This is very simple to say: Propaganda is a very, very powerful weapon... and gives a completely false picture of reality.
There are actually US soldiers who are fighting in Ukraine against Russian forces
The woman's name is not Sarah, it is Co.
My childhood hero
Mine also
Poor poor Rambo…… I found Rambo’s knife on Roblox XD
Lol I have the Rambo 3 Knive I dropped it by accident from 1feet and the wood gripe broke cheap knife 😭
12:45 to protect their country 10000 miles away 😂
is it just me oe does eric look like the cobra kai instructor from karate kid
Yes the Martin Cove the karate kid cobra kai trainer
Rambo First Blood part 1 n 2, Distant Thunder, Missing in America, In Country, The Dear Hunter, Jacknife Born on the 4th of July are my favorite post War movies on Vietnam War Vets.
Lieutenant Thai was not 'overwhelmed by the Fury in (Rambo's) eyes.' He was overwhelmed by an explosive-tipped arrow. AI isn't good at everything.
America making their own happiness😂😂😂
Rambo Solid: Snake Eater 😂😂😂😂😂
her name is pronounced, Sara "New When".. Learn Vietnamese
Wow John kreese from cobra Kai 2 legendary actors
this guy is literally Naked Snake
14👍's up Recap King thank you for 🤗
22:04 "Just a flesh wound"
22:01 In a climatic showdown, Rambo managed to retaliate and 'wound' the Thai Lieutenant (shows the Lieutenant exploding into a million pieces)
1:30 is that a photo of Ronald Reagan
bro's in assassins creed
❤❤
Camera on my hand too
22:01 “wound” more like obliterated
Life for nothing or die for something
22:03 “Rambo wounded the Lieutenant”
😂😂😂😂
