The whole "dont listen to secular music" thing is so funny to me because my parents, in an effort to get me to listen to Christian music, took me to a Christian screamo concert. That's the place where I first learned how to smoke. So didn't turn out to well, eh?

ironically Muslim, Jewish, and Christianity all stem from the Book of Abraham, Jesus was a Jew before people started a religion about him, and 600 years later Muhammad started his religion after being visited by the Arch Angel Gabriel, the same angel who told Mary about Jesus

That prayer thing is so infuriating. TH-cam is not saying "Don't pray u shouldn't dummy" they are saying "Prayer is not a cure, those TV/local pastors saying prayer is all you need is not true." By all means pray when you or a loved one is sick and pray for protection.... but god is not your babysitter, he sent you here so you can make your own choices. Not for him to make you invisible and to avoid responsibility.
What's that saying, faith without works is dead? Yeah, work to meet god half way there and the chances of getting "miracles" suddenly go up in your favor, crazy!

I'm not christian myself but if i was, my personal standpoint would be that if god did exist then surely he gave us the ability to solve sickness ourself and prayer would just be like asking for a hint in a video game to solve a puzzle. like he gave us the plants and knowledge to cure ourselves as opposed to god just zapping us with the get-well-a-tron beam.

I’m Catholic and have my reasons to believe God is not like this, but even if we are to argue he is I don’t care because no god who enforces that stuff is worthy of my respect or worship. That’s one hell of an abusive father and a relationship I’ll gladly cut ties with.

Are you really comparing being short to having a genetic condition that fills your childhood with pain and invasive skeletal and spinal surgeries? He seems like a horrible person, but using his height to speculate about his mindset is kinda shortsighted, a punch-down if you will, and otherwise pretty irrelevant to the discussion considering so much of his life is affected by this medical condition that the overwhelming majority of humans do not experience and therefore cannot understand the psychological and mental ramifications of living with dwarfism. But yeah I agree that insecure men are usually the most dangerous, I just think that’s across the board though, not just with height.

Hey! Just recently stumbled upon your content and I'm really enjoying it, keep it up!! The thing with the A = 440 Hz comes from a very long history of "alternative" beliefs that attribute all the problems in our society to "bad vibrations" in the music we listen to. Nowadays we use something called the "equal temperament" scale, which makes all music sound very slightly out of tune, in a homogenous way. Before this method of tuning became popular, we used other schemes such as "well-temperament" (see Bach's well-tempered clavier) and "natural temperament", which would have some keys be perfectly in tune at the expense of having other keys sound very very out of tune. The history of which frequency we call an A is also quite interesting. In the 1700s an A in Italy would have sounded considerably higher pitched (i might be getting this the other way around) than an A in England. We eventually settled in A = 442 Hz, but for baroque music we often play at A=415, which to our ears would sound a whole half-tone lower ( G flat ). For some reason people tend to mix in fibonacci numbers with A = 440 being evil and (usually) A = 442 being the "chakra frequency" which big pharma is trying to hide from us etc etc. Funny to see bible literalists take ideas from New Age and Scientology....

    • @chrisinreallife2022

This video definitely started as a hard watch, because it's easy for people like me to start building walls when the word "Christian" comes up in the media, considering we hold the same label as too many controversial figures. (Also the bit about circular reasoning in religious texts had me about to put my debate practice to use.)
But I am glad I kept watching, because the part about: "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone" reminded me that you give nuanced takes that don't bash whole groups. It felt good to hear someone who may not hold the same beliefs show respect to my religion, and use the Bible as a way to point out contradictions in this jerk's mindset.
Thank you, and I hope other people can give religions the respect they deserve when they address these pharasaical influencers trying to put words in God's mouth.

This is such a great comment, as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ I really couldn't have said it better myself. It seems like people get really passionate about telling others how they should be living their religion, whether they're even religious or not (obviously I'm not talking about in actual religious settings, because then that's something you're actually seeking out).
I also really appreciated the bit about religion coming before politics - again people inside AND outside of denominations have a huge issue with politicizing religion. It's all just very refreshing

  • @dansanders9121

I think the manipulation is what gets me. But in particular his whole "oh you can convert right now! Become Christian right now, through tiktok! All you have to do is accept Christ into your heart!" that bothers me the most. Like, first of all, no. Second of all, assuming there are people out htere who legitimately buy into this shit (which there undoubtedly are), they then go to his page to learn about how to be a good christian/avoid hell now that theyve accepted christ right. And what do they find? Well, all the shit Jimmy said and more. Its honestly horrific.
Not to mention the fact that for most of us in the world who don't come from Christian societies the normalisation of a Christonormative worldview as inherently correct and our indigenous ones as incorrect, to say nothing of active prostelitysm, is actively an act of colonialism and imperialism in our communities.

small (weird? maybe crazy) note on frequencies (or sound) .... if you take a frequency (like the note C4) and speed, it up it will turn into light and color eventually. And if you slow it down it eventually turns into a steady pulse. and expanding on that, if you take a polyrhythm (essentially a mathematical pattern like 3/5, just google them) and speed that up it turns into a chord, and if you speed that up even more, it turns into 2 complimentary colors. Shows how intertwined the universe is. When I first learned about this it blew my mind.

I have faith but I'm not religious. If I were religious I would probably read the bible every day and go to church. Anyway, religion is such a private and personal thing. I don't understand why people try to force their ideologies or views on others who are not already in the community. If you're really that narcissistic and need an echo chamber to hear your own opinions reflected back to you there here are plenty of people out there already who think the same way you do. Why wouldn't you just go to those people instead of trying to convert others? They must REALLY be convinced that these people are going to burn in hell. Maybe if I thought people were literally going to suffer and be tortured for eternity I would care too but I have a hard time believing these aren't the same self-serving people who are phobic of other things like weight or sexuality and say they're just "concerned for your health or safety" when they're not your friend, family member, or doctor. That doesn't sound very Christian-like to ME but maybe that's being a good Christian to them. I don't know but having faith makes ME feel good and inspires ME and helps ME practice gratitude. I don't care what other people think or believe I just don't like hypocrites. I'm open and accepting of all views unless it's just purely bigoted statements or hatred disguised as opinions (racism or anything else we know is harmful). I also don't discuss religion because it's considered rude and I was raised with manners.

I completely agree, I’m technically Christian and faith helps me be happy and have peace. It helped me when I was at my lowest and when I inevitably become low again it will help me make it through, I also have therapy and meditation but faith is the third in the trio of me having good mental health. No matter what god you believe in, if it’s safe/legal and helps you get through life and be happy then it’s a good thing. Not believing in evolution is wild though Big Nik 😂

If your first language is English & yet you somehow use the phrase "less worse" unironically, you shouldn't be trying to be an nfluencer on complex issues.

Ive been looking for someone to say this, they just dont understand what hes saying isnt nonsense, rather the truth that many dont know about, theres alot christians dont tell non believers that wereve known about but dont mention until youre serious about your relationship with God, there is alot they dont understand about our lifestyle and what we learn is right or wrong, the world man, its really wicked at this point and thats the reason BigNik is losing attention, because when hes doing whats right, he loses followers in the journey.

@@alex.9699 he’s not doing what’s right though or not in a good way. As Christians we shouldn’t spread false information to try to make a point, if you’ve watched his videos he spreads rumors and proven falsies that have no proof to back them. Even if he did, the way he goes about shaming and degrading certain people is not what Jesus wanted for us. It’s harmful and can make people lose faith instead of gaining it, if you paid attention to this video you’d see that this kind of talk is giving the younger generations less faith because of all the discrimination. If you want to spread the word it should be positive, encouraging, and non hypocritical like the way Jesus did. Even then, Jesus let people have their own beliefs and didn’t force it on anybody, just trusted and hoped that his wisdom would reach them. Big Nik is dangerous in his teachings and I hope you guys can realize that eventually. Blessings
