I think its a very good little machine. From the videos i see from you , you give a good go at it. I could see plenty of useful tasks in my yard . Thank you for sharing.
Need to check into getting one of these I rent the Vermeer 925tx with bushhog attachment and bucket , also a little toro for smaller jobs it’s been to the point now I need to buy one and kubota is in town too !
Holy hell glad I didnt wait for that one! My ditch witch sk1050 would lift that log all day and not get so light..and listen to how much it bogs down just lifting the arms under load! My mt85 didnt even bog that bad. Kubota If your listening this, you should have had 35hp and a set of counterweights standard.
Amazing that you know how heavy that log is from a video and I would expect that a unit with larger specs would lift more too. Pretty sure the Kubota would out perform the MT85 though.
We purposely didn't cut that log into firewood yet. I want to try and weigh it. New video on the mini coming soon. They have 80 or 90 hrs on it already. Thanks for watching!
Yeah, not much out there yet. The guys are working it hard. (12.5 hrs) So far they are super impressed. They picked up a branch manager grapple and went to town on a clearing job. More videos coming. Thanks for watching!
Good to hear. The boys have over 300hrs on this one and it's doing great. They are looking at Avants for their next purchase. Then they will have both track and wheeled options. Thanks for watching!
What did they pay, tooth bucket? I don't need anything but a concrete breaker. When the concrete guys see this they are gonna shit! Way better that bobcat and vameer, I've found 1 that is comparable! But I need some more videos, I know these are pricey but it's prob worth it! Danfoss mini track loader is the only one that can keep up! And I don't think it can digging wise, did they have any trouble digging in mid summer? Hard ground?
Not sure exactly what sure what they paid I think around 30k. They have 3 buckets smooth, tooth and bulk. You can dig through any soil no problem. This thing is the equivalent to having two or three more guys on the job. Never heard of the other one you mentioned. Thanks
They rated this Machine at 1000psi. Not sure the weight of this log, but it barely off the ground and starting to tilt; any further and it would have went over. Well, at least you know the limits. Cool little machine!
Pound for pound, that machine against the density of a white oak log is impressive. My ASV RT30 would have had to work to lift that. That machine does not have Anti-stall Nor my ASV 30,get doing to many functions or pushing hard, you will choke it down to stall. It's a matter of a good operator and learning machine.Nice unit!
Yeah, my sons are very happy with it. They use it everyday. I have another video that I weigh that log. If I remember correctly it was like 1850 lbs. Thanks for watching!
I have been waiting for someone to upload a video of the scl1000 actually being used. Kubota has been really slow rolling these out. My local dealers said the few that they have ordered are already sold and have no idea when they can even get one to demo. Fingers crossed but I’m really interested in this machine. Would love to see more with different attachments!
Yeah, my sons have been waiting for a year. They almost gave up and bought a dingo. They made one last call to the Kubota dealer. The guy said they're getting one at the end of the month. Put 1k down that day and got it three weeks later. Thanks for watching!
Our dealer said he doesn’t know when he'll get another one. He's a large Case and Kubota dealer up here in Allentown PA and they're almost sold out of everything.
@@tomhendricks316 Thanks for the info. I’m in Bucks county, pa and was told the same by a few dealers. Hopefully production ramps up soon! Good luck with the machine!
Just put my order in without being able to try it since there aren't any to try right now. Can you see the cutting edge of the bucket when standing on the platform?
Good for you. I hope it comes in soon. So, can you see the cutting edge?....that depends on how tall you are and what bucket you are using. The answer I got from my sons was "yes, you can see the cutting edge" they are all nearly 6' tall or more and I don't know what bucket they were using. PS, so far they love it. I should have more video soon. Thanks for watching!
@@tomhendricks316 Awesome, thanks for the reply. Im 6' tall also. Have they mentioned anything negative about stability on hills and slopes do to the machine only being 36" wide?
It is a sweet machine. As for how much it will lift...I saw one website listed the safe operating life capacity at 1000lbs and that was 35% of the tipping weight. If you do the math that would be 2857lbs. Thanks for watching!
Do you mean the curl cylinder? I didn't notice anything other than the bucket didn't seem to curl as much as I thought. As of last night they have 35hrs on it and only have great things to say about. This is a game changer for their business! Thanks for watching!
I don't know the sale price, but I did overhear it was $1500 more than the Dingo they were looking at. So far with roughly 30hrs on it they are really happy. Thanks for watching!
I don't know where Kubota sells these mini skids. They will probably be worldwide at some point. I know a wonderful family in Brazil! Thanks for watching!
I wasn't involved in pricing. However, I did overhear that it was $1,500 more than the Toro dingo they were looking at. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching!
I was not involved in the pricing process, but I've had several inquiries about that. I'm going to ask my sons what they paid so I can answer these questions. In the meantime I over heard it was $1,500 more than the dingo they were looking at. They were drilling holes with an 18" auger 3 or 4 feet today. It went through it like butter. This thing really is a beast! Thanks for watching!
@@tomhendricks316 that's good to know. Kubota dealer is closer and as far as service goes, I've heard the dingos can be very temperamental, which is surprising being a Toro

love hearing a brand new piece of diesel machinery being started cold and immediately sent to max rpm.
And also for torture testing the poor thing
I just watched a guy get a new bobcat and the first thing he did was reb all the way up and started pulling levers. What a jerky video he made
How do we know it wasn't already warm from being loaded/driven at the dealer?
Love the way the tracks are inside of the machine.

Wonder why it was bogging down so hard and shutting off when he was digging with it....didn't seem to be under that much load to do that.
