      Check ur hose connections make sure it's not loose, and you want a happy medium between snug and tight, lose gives it freedom to stream.

    do you have an overflow system installed? cuz it will overflow if you keep it running without draining it. How do you drain it?

    I'm new to automated misters, great vid! Also do you have to supply your own tank for mister? Where is the water source coming from? Thanks again :)

    • @Kiwimason

      Might be too late, but the water comes from a bucket you need and you will have to stick a object that comes with the misting package into the water and it'll do it's thing

      @@sevengill5162 Well, most misters are usually quite pricy, I once researched on misters but I stuck to just hand spraying instead. I would reccomend mist king form bio dude. Do some research before you get it since I don't want to convince you to buy a product that might not be right for you. I just recently figured out that, yes, you do need a bucket for the mister in this video

    What happens if the water container gets empty? Does the pump burn out? Or it just tries to pump until water is added? Will it restart without user intervention after water is added? I want it plugged in 24/7 and the moment water is added it should pump, when it's empty it shouldn't burn out. Is this realistic?

      Falls es irgendjemanden auf der Welt hilft: Man muss den Ring zurückdrücken und dann das Gegenstück rausziehen. Ähnlich wie bei einer Gartenschlauch- Kupplung.

      You can set it to spray on a schedule up to 24 hours and spray up to 60 seconds.
      You can also push the mode button to manual spray or automatic, same button also turns off the machine.

    • @bonn5130
      @bonn5130  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah it works good, for full automation you sort of need a large resivour to store alot of water and the pump is included!

    Do you have any idea how to do a misting system for an enclosure that’s all mesh

    • @thedisintegrador
      @thedisintegrador ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you are worried about water getting everywhere around the enclosure, I suppose you just point the extruders in such a way that minimal amounts of water get away. I think you can also regulate the area that gets misted by adjusting the extruder head, as with a sprinkler.
      I've seen one guy on YT also building an enclosure for giant day geckos which had frontal mesh screen instead of glass and he just had to work out the best way to point the extruders. I think the best thing for you would be to fix the extruders directly in the middle of the vivarium ceiling pointing downward so it mists everything evenly with a minimal water leakage. Also have the enclosure stand on something which can get a little wet, so it doesn't rot or bend or rust, because with mesh screen you can never block all the water being sprinkled in, even with a manual sprinkler
      as the setup and tubing is considered, from what I've seen you just pull the mesh strings apart, making a small hole and you pull the tube through (you can secure it with some silicon then I suppose if you worry about animals escaping)
      I think that the lady from the YT channel "Leopard Gecko" has it done this way
