Jeeze louise, that's a sexy stack of ENGLs. Man they all sounded awesome, but the Steve Morse sig has always been my personal favorite because of how versatile it is, you don't even need a boost.
hi men great showdown💥...i have the Steve Morse 100 too but i never used it like you did ... for me the ch 3 have 4 amazing type of sounds...i use the low mid 1 in 9 o'clock ,low mid 2 in closed,hi mid 1 in 1 oclock and hi mid 2 in 1-2 oclock , then i add the other options as i like... in my opinion its one of the best amp ever made 🤌😁

It’s hard to find a driftwood in my country. Also I’m not the owner of every one of them. Only the Morse and Fireball are mine. I would prefer to add another taste to my inventory while keeping my Engl’s though.
It seems like engl, bogner and soldano are a sure thing as far as high gain tones...I would absolutely choose any of them but it's something about the engl that just hits me everytime I hear one lol.!!!! ANYBODY EVER HEAR OF MEZZABARBA AMPS from Italy before?? I recently saw a video with someone jamming through one and OMG DUUUUUDE!!!! The clean channel sounds out of this world beautiful and the gain channel is so heavy and balanced out ( highs, mids, low end) that it's completely worth the 3500 dollars every penny🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟😍
I have had 12 engls. I now have one. Steve morse! the original savage was hard to get rid of though! on another note the shiny faces of the PB and the invader are terrible cant read shit at most angles.
Very nice. Fireball i think out of these. Easiest to dail in.
Cool riffs and tones man , savage sounding good to my ears , savage one of my fave models on axe fx II !
1)Savage 2)Fireball 3)Powerball mk2. Great video!
Fireball chugs the best second to none IMHO
I'didn't know heaven was a place on Earth but I guess it was your studio all along.🤘🤘
Fireball 100 all the way! Pure fire.
I loved the Powerball. Not a huge difference from the Fireball 100 but it had something in the mids I liked.

Of these I have the Fireball 100 (for 5 years now). I love it so much. It only made me want to get more ENGL amps.
FB is great and delivers a great tightness. I really enjoy playing it too!
Engl Savage is the best for my tastes 🤘☠️🤘
nasty 2khz & 4khz spikes

The sound of the ENGL Savage is very different from the others. It’s definitely my favorite. It truly lives up to its name🤘
I liked the powerball mk 1
great amp with a really bad fx loop.
Which IR? Is it a commercial one or did you shoot it yourself? Great comparison, thanks!

How have you managed to make the Savage sound so bad in comparison to the other amp heads?
What do you think it could be?
Sell every Engl for a Driftwood- I did, remaining Engl fireball collecting dust..

Damn they all sound sick but the power ball mkII or the savage 120 just sounds like it's melting lol love the brutal raw tone
