Great presentation video BUT I AM CONFUSED!!! You go on about loom and youtube can present your online course - but you only refer to videos. My course has several videos, some polls, some picture click for more info and quite a few other interactive learning widgets. So does loom allow you to do this? If loom only allows you to upload a video and others to then comment - surely that is not a learning course. It's just a video presentation. Please can you clarify.

Great question. First, research shows that most people are learning via video now (think TH-cam, Shorts, etc.), therefore, the backbone of any online course should be video. And yes you can have an online course that is 100% video broken into different video modules (think TH-cam playlist). With that being said, if you are looking to have assessment questions, downloads and other interactive elements, I highly recommend that you consider one of the 4 LMS options below:
      * Kajabi (bit.ly/Kajabi-30-day-trial) is hands down our favorite Learning Management System because it is much more of a complete Online Business Management System that not only 40+ of our students and clients are using, we use it daily as the only software to run our entire business on. We like to call Kajabi an external learning management system because it was created for those looking to build and sell online courses to their customers.
      * LearnWorlds (bit.ly/ep-learnworlds) is also an external learning management system because it was created for those looking to build and sell online courses to their customers. And while we don't use LearnWorlds, 10+ of our students and clients are currently using it to build and sell their online courses. Now, you are probably wondering why you would choose LearnWorlds over Kajabi right? Well, unless you are building an online course you are looking to sell and you need your learning management system to be SCORM or HTML5 compliant, you should choose Kajabi. However, if you need it to be SCORM or HTML5 compliant, LearnWorlds will be your new best friend. LearnWorlds has similar capabilities as Kajabi, it just has inferior website building and marketing tools to Kajabi, but if you need SCORM, it is a positive sacrifice to make (it is also technically a little cheaper - so if you are on a budget, LearnWorlds is a solid option)
      * TalentCards (bit.ly/ep-talentcards ) is on the other side of the fence when it come to learning management systems (it is an internal learning management system). Meaning that if you are building an eLearning program to train your employees and team members, and those team members primarily use their phones or mobile devices at work because they are always on the go, TalentCards is your best friend. TalentCards matches the user experience of TH-cam, Instagram, and TikTok in learning management system form. Do we need to say more? (oh, we have 100+ students and clients currently training their teams using this one)
      * TalentLMS (bit.ly/ep-talentlms ) is also an internal learning management system, and our 100+ students and clients would agree that it is the lowest cost, highest value learning management system on the market focused on training employees and team members. This is because TalentLMS is extremely customizable so you can make sure that it serves you and your Learners at your company however you need it to.

Hey guys. Love some of your videos, thank you. I have a couple of questions - Do you think Microsoft Power Portal could be used as an LXP? Our content is created in Articulate (xAPI) but I am not sure if Microsoft Power Platform could take xAPI data and visualise them in PowerBI without the need of using LRS. Keen to hear any suggestions/advice you might have. Thanks heaps!

Appreciate your comment. With xAPI typically you will need a platform that is xAPI enabled such as TalentLMS. We do not have very much experience with Microsoft Power Platform. Do you know if it is xAPI compliant? If it isn’t then you will need to integrate another system like an LRS or switch to an LMS like TalentLMS. We only bring up TalentLMS because it is a very low cost/high value LMS system that more than a dozen of our students and clients are using for situations similar to yours. In addition we have over 100 students and clients getting what they need out of just using the free version of TalentLMS which you can test out for free with no time restraint here by using our affiliate link with no additional cost to you if you end up paying for it - bit.ly/ep-talentlms
And the great thing is you should be able to demo your workflow of integrating xAPI files into TalentLMS first.
Keep us updated on your progress.

One other thing... how do you create that projector view where the content is being projected on a screen, yet the screen is on a background which includes the presenter talking (i.e presented in the whole shot rather than in a circle?). How do you do that in loom? See 3:50

Great question. The simple answer is we recorded both using Loom (or pick your favorite screen capture software) and recorded ourselves with a camera infront of a green screen like this one: amzn.to/3JhJCrz (and yes that is an affiliate link.
Long story is we teach exactly how we have been able to make more than $2,000/month passively through our TH-cam channel with less than 2,000 subscribers without monetizing our channel with TH-cam ad revenue and teach how to produce the exact videos we produce on this channel in our online course - TH-cam 2K Blueprint. If you are interested I recommend investing in the "Premium" edition so you can learn exactly how we create these videos - www.e-learningpartners.com/youtube2kblueprint

Hi there, thank you for these videos. I need external, scorm or tin can compliant solution. I have developed with articulate storyline and it is content for customers. Thanks a lot :) What would of been great really would of been that Kajabi was scorm compliant.. what do you think ?

Seriously, Kajabi really should integrate SCORM, HTML5 and xAPI compliance (we bet they will at some point, but I wouldn’t bank on that right now). We really like “LearnWorlds” as a solid “external” LMS alternative to Kajabi. We have a video all about it here: th-cam.com/video/yWsFVXozbMc/w-d-xo.html and our affiliate link if you want to support us is here: bit.ly/ep-learnworlds
