- Gaspard Ulliel, the French actor and star of Marvel's highly-anticipated 'Moon Knight' series on Disney+, died on Wednesday following a ski accident, according to multiple reports. He was 37-years-old.

I can’t believe he’s gone. He’s one of foreign actors I’ve grown up watching. He was so young with a a child. It makes me sad to hear.
I first saw him in 'Hannibal Rising' and he did an excellent job. Condolences to his family.
He was so good in that movie! I recognized his cheek scar!
He was also in "A Very Long Engagement".
I remember how mesmerized I was when I first saw Gaspard on screen, thinking that he had one of the most striking faces I had ever seen. I was only in my teens and he left a lasting impression on me. Such a talented, memorable actor. Sending my heartfelt condolences to his family. I, too, recently lost someone that I loved more than anything. I'm so done with the world.
I agree, he was such a talented actor. I will never forget his role in Hannibal. His acting was out of this world. Hope him and his family will find peace.

@@magdamanko17 Hannibal was my first Gaspard movie too! I went to the cinema with a friend and we picked a random film. I was so blown away by this actor I had never heard about before. I bought _A Very Long Engagement_ and _Paris, je t'aime_ on DVD shortly after and he would have a substantial impact on the type of men I find myself attracted to. So much happened since and even though I haven't followed up with his career in a while, I never forgot him. The past few years were already full of sorrow, and when I found out about his passing, it felt like a part of my youth died with him. As I'm struggling with the grief over the loss of a family member myself right now, my heart breaks for Gaspard's loved ones. There's nothing worse than losing the ones you love for good. The pain is unlike anything else.

How dreadfully tragic that such a promising actor and person, for crying out loud, should die at such a young age. With all of the equally tragic deaths of people dying of Covid, for example, we should constantly be made aware how precious life is. Condolences to his family and friends.

Such a charming man. He's been the face of St. Laurent, Chanel, and other haute couture products. He's also a fantastic actor. So sorry for his family and friends, and for all his fans. I loved seeing any film in which he appeared. It's a tragedy.

This is insane, I was recently marveling @ what a huge fan I was of his for many years, wondering where he went, saw him in an ad for something, got excited again……..now? We’re losing so many.
I just pointed him out to my fiance maybe 3 or 4 days ago because I remember him as Hannibal Lecter. Not a great film but his performance was superb. Crazy

it is really sad. Im just surprised Marvel allowed him do skiing. Marvel as well as most big productions put in contracts that the actors are not allowed to do any extreme sports or dangerous acts.

@@dustindubbo2892 Skiing accidents claim so many lives. Natasha Richardson (actor and Liam Neeson’s wife) died due to a ski accident. Sonny Bono died in a ski accident. Michael Kennedy also died in a ski accident (just 5 days before Sonny Bono). Tragic.

I recently discovered him and the fact that I was thinking about him the week he died made this even more shocking. My jaw dropped and I couldn't believe it. To die so young out of the blue is unfair. I will watch his stuff to honour him. RIP Gaspard

Yes Natasha died here in Canada (Mont-Tremblant Qc) None, Gaspard & her no helmet to protect the head. So sad RIP Gaspard
Also made me think automatically of Sonny Bono. He smacked right into a tree. Makes me glad, in retrospect, that I decided to stop experimenting with snowboarding, & never took up skiing.
Racing Driver Michael Schumacher also had a skiing accident, he survived cause he was wearing a helmet but was left seriously injured and paralized.

Hmmmmm....interestingly it’s a helicopter crash, drug overdose, ski accident and/or they tied a red handkerchief to the door of their apartment and died. They signed the contract. They unfortunately have to pay up.

They should make wearing a helmet compulsory when skiing to avoid this type of tragedies. The other guy was uninjured. How unfortunate for Gaspard. He was a brilliant actor. His untimely death somehow reminds me of James Dean... Both were so talented but that sudden death leaves us sighing and wondering how many wonderful movies we might have lost enjoying. Gone too soon.

He’s directed and stared in the Netflix series twice upon a time I seen Hannibal rising , strayed and a very long engagement. I’m not big on subtitles but he kept my interest to watch them . He was really talented and handsome . RIP

Absolutely devastated by his death! I've been heartbroken since. 💔 I loved so much of his work, and him immensely. I miss him dearly. I looked forward to more of his work and him garnering more international notability and success with his role in Moon Knight. So sad he won't be able to witness that. I had just discovered him sometime in early 2020 after watching Hannibal Rising, and watched more of his films and shows and loved his great acting. What a fucking tragedy! Why him? So unfair man.
